"What are you gonna explain Alison? How you're a two timing cheat? Or how I wasn't good enough for you?" He said looking into my eyes.
I didn't know what to say. I didn't see this coming.
"No Harry.." I took a deep breathe. "I just don't know" I said quietly looking at my fingers.
"Well I'm sorry Alison but that's not good enough. Actually I'm not sorry. Screw you" He said as he got up and left.
I literally felt like someone was squeezing my heart. I couldn't breathe, couldn't talk. I was frozen. I watched him walk away as the bell rang. More the bleachers got crowded, the more I wanted to hide away. It was like everyone was looking at me and mocking me. I got up and rushed outside. I ran home and locked myself into my room.
"Stupid!" I punched a mirror in my room as I looked at my reflection.
By that, the mirror shredded to pieces and my knuckles were bleeding. I didn't care. Harry was the only thing I've done right in my life and I've totally ruined it because I was an idiot. I knew he was too good for me.
"Alison! Open the door!" Louis yelled, distracting me from my thoughts.
"Go away Louis!" I snapped at him.
I really didn't mean to but I didn't need him to lecture me and tell me that he was right.
"Damn it Alison! This isn't about you for once" He said hitting the door again.
I didn't care about it and just got in bed. The throbbing on my knuckles were killing me but they were no match to how I felt emotionally. I should have died before I could ruin somebody else's life too...
I woke up to the sunlight beaming through my curtains and hitting my face. I wasn't gonna go to school obviously but I heard someone from downstairs. So I got up and stumbled downstairs to apologize to Louis for the way I snapped at him yesterday.
"Louis, look I'm really so-" I was cut off by the sight in front of me.
It can't be, I thought to myself.
"Dad" I said shocked.
He smiled weakly at me.
"Hi Alison" The woman standing next to him said with a tear in her eye.
"No you're not real!" I yelled at her and ran outside.
I ran as far as I could and I found myself at Liam's house. For my luck he didn't leave for school yet.
"Alison? What's wrong?" He said as I crashed into his arms and started crying.
"She just can't.. It can't be.." Was all I could manage to say and he understood I wasn't gonna speak properly for a while.
He just hugged my tight and rubbed my back swaying back and forth.
"Shh Alison, you need to calm down a bit" He said breaking our hug.
"Thanks" I whispered as he look deeply into my eyes.
"It's fine. Anything for you, now why don't you go up to my room and I'll bring you a cup of coffee" He smiled as he told me where his room was.
I got up and stumbled upstairs. I lied down on his bed and closed my eyes, trying to stop the tears from falling but it was impossible. Who did she think she was? She had no rights to show up whenever she wanted...
