Tangled Up In Blue
I woke up in a strange room. I looked around confused but then I saw Liam and I remembered. I ran here earlier and probably dozed off from all the crying.
"I spoke to Louis" He said holding my hand.
"I don't care" I said gulping loudly.
"Ali, you need to go home you know" He said as he stoked my hand.
I just shrugged.
"No" I whispered looking down.
We talked about it and then he made me leave his house so I'd go and face my problems. I convinced him that I wanted to walk alone but I quickly ran to the lake and jumped in. I wanted to go away as far as I could. I swam in the welcoming ocean as fast as I could. I closed my eyes and imagined everything was amazing but then I couldn't swim. I opened my eyes and realized my tail got caught in a fishing net. The more I struggled to get free the more I got tangled up in it. I was freaking out. I didn't know for how long I could hold my breath.
Elena's POV
Cordelia and I were in the moon pool just practicing. She was teaching me how to use my powers flawlessly. I didn't even know I had this much in me but then we were interrupted by Liam and she quickly hid herself.
"Elena" He said out of breath.
"Alison. Gone" He added between breaths.
I let him catch his breath and he summarized everything.
"Okay you look around the streets and I'll search the sea" I said and he agreed.
Just as he left, Cordelia reappeared. Man I was never gonna get used to that.
"Okay Elena, as Alison is your pod we need to find her quick. Just follow me" She said as she dived in.
Well as she knew the water better than me I obliged. Thanks to our fast swimming we found her in what it seemed like half an hour. I quickly swam over to her. Her eyes were closed and she was tangled in a fishing net. Cordelia was looking for something sharp as I tried to free but but instead I almost got caught too. Thank god Cordelia came back with a shell or something and cut the net. We quickly swam to the moon pool and waited for Alison to wake up.
Alison's POV
I took a deep breath. I opened my eyes and I was in the moon pool.
"Whoa, what happened?" I asked Elena and Cordelia confused.
"We found you in a fishing net Alison, you really shouldn't swim far away alone" Cordelia said smiling.
She was right. I shouldn't have gone too far. I couldn't even imagine what would happen if they didn't find me. I thanked them and we rested in the soothing water of the moon pool for a while.
"Girls, it's time for your training" Cordelia said breaking the silence.
"You mean the meteor is close?" I asked her afraid.
"I'm afraid it's only like 2 weeks away. You'll be able to tell it's getting closer as the moon pool with change" She added.
"Yeah I noticed that the pool is warming up" Elena pointed out, making me understand it wasn't her doing.
"The heating up is the least of your problems. If you're not ready till then, us 3 will parish with the moon pool" She said looking up.
Elena and I looked at each other in shock. Parish? No way. I never wanted to be a mermaid in the first place and I wasn't ready to leave.

Sorry I haven't updated in a while. My exams are starting today and I have exams till Tuesday but I'll update as much as I can.Ps sorry for the shitty chapter..
