When she woke up, she looked at us confused.

"What the hell are you two doing here?!" She was mad, I guess.

"This is our place, we always come here" I said annoyed.

"Yeah but who are you?" Elena asked her confused.

"I'm Cordelia, my pod is the protector of Elesmere Port. Who are you?" She said nicely.

She really looked amazing. She had glistening blue eyes, blonde hair and a purplish tail. She looked like the mermaids you see in movies.

"Well I'm Alison and this is Elena" I smiled back at her.

"Where is your pod?" She asked us confused.

"Uh we're not a part of a pod or well we're a small pod" I said confused too. "You see we just turned to mermaids two full moons ago" I added.

"So you two are land people?" She asked us shocked.

"Yeah.. Aren't you?" Elena asked her weirded out.

"Hell no! I'm glad I don't have legs but now I see you're the reason the moon pool sent us waves of energy during the last full moons and yesterday which was pretty intense. That's one of the reasons why I'm here" She said seriously.

So she's a real mermaid? Like born or created a mermaid? Wicked, I thought to myself.

"Well yesterday we made someone lose their mermaid powers cause she was trying to expose herself to the world" I said proudly but a bit afraid of how she might react.

"You did good but Alison and Elena that's the least of our concerns. Every hundred years, the moon pool attracts a meteor to itself and if we, the mermaids, don't stop it this place will be destroyed so you two need to help me as this is your place too. I don't need to call my pod since you're here" She said smiling at the end.

"Well I don't know how we can help but we'd like to" I smiled. "But please tell me, are you saying you were born a mermaid and there are more like you?" I asked confused.

"I'll tell you how when the time is right and yes. There are hundreds of mermaids in a pod and thousands of pods around the world but we try to keep it away from the humans" She explained to us.

"That's so cool" I said thinking about it.

"Well if we can save the moon pool, I can talk to my pod to take you with us" She replied.

Leaving? For good? It sounded nice but I wasn't a real mermaid, neither was Elena. We were 'land people' as she called us too. Plus I had Louis, my dad and Harry. I couldn't leave them. I noticed Elena was in deep thoughts too.

"We'll think about it but thanks for the offer Cordelia" I smiled at her.

We were just talking about her pod and where they were living as we heard someone.

"Alison! Elena! Are you girls here?" It was Liam. "There you are! Louis got worried when he didn't see you two in your room so he wanted to make sure you were alright" He said as he sat down on the sand.

"Yeah we're fine we were just talking about-" I said as I turned my head to see Cordelia wasn't there.

"Talking about what?" He asked me confused.

"Oh nothing. Isn't it late Liam? You go home, and tell Louis we're gonna spend the night here?" I asked him nicely.

He resisted at first but then agreed and left. Seconds later, Cordelia reappeared.

"Holy crap! How did you do that?!" I asked her shocked.

"Well we need to do something to prevent being caught by humans so mermaids can make themselves invisible for a while" She said proudly. "But who was he?"

"Don't worry he's a friend, he won't tell anyone" I said trying to convince her.

We talked for some time and learned that she had all of our powers which was so cool. Apparently every mermaid did. Well it did make sense. We showed her our powers and she said we had much to learn about being a mermaid. Then we told her about Ashley, Jason and the hunters and she said a mermaid should never kill and that she didn't deserve her powers. She slept in the moon pool and Elena dried us so we could sleep on the sand. When we woke up we went for a swim with her and decided we should meet up with her later today in the moon pool. As today was Wednesday, we quickly swam to the lake and literally ran home to change. Thank god Louis and Harry were just having breakfast.

"Ali, you could have warned me before you left" Louis said taking a sip of his tea.

"I'm sorry Louis" I said as I walked over to Harry.

"Morning babe" I said planting a kiss on his cheek and he moved his head away.

"Morning" He said coldly.

"What's wrong Harry?" I asked him hurt by his tone and confused.

He didn't reply, he just took another sip from his tea. I looked at Louis and he just shrugged. I just went upstairs to change and we left the house. On our way to the school, I tried to talk to Harry but he didn't answer or gave me short, cold answers. During the third period I tried to talk to him again.

"Harry, why are you acting like this? What's wrong? What's bothering you?" I asked him quietly, stroking his arm.

"Fine Alison! You wanna know what's wrong?! What's bothering me?! The fact that you've been fucking around with Fabian is bothering me! There, I said it. Now you're happy?!" He practically yelled at me in the middle of the class.

Everyone was looking at us. I had tears in my eyes and I could see the pain, the anger in his eyes. He got up and rushed out of the classroom.

"Harry.." I said gulping, trying to hold back the tears.

It was like someone tied my throat and I couldn't breathe. How did he find out? I could see the smirks on Jesse's and Fabian's face. I got up, completely ignoring our teacher and went over to their desk.

"You told him?!" I practically screamed at Fabian.

"He just answered your phone. Not like it's my fault" He replied putting his hands up.

"What?! So it's my fault?" I asked him angrily.

"Not like I was the one cheating on him. Remember it was you" He said annoyed.

He was right. No one was to blame besides me. I needed to fix this. They weren't even worth the fight.

"I'm sorry sir, I need to go" I said as I rushed out of the class to find Harry.

I ran around the school until I found him on the bleachers. I sat next to him.

"Harry.." I said as he turned his head away.

He had tears in his eyes. My baby, I did this to him and it hurt me like hell to see him like this. I just wanted to hug him and make him better so I did. I wrapped my arms around him. Even though he didn't hug me back, he didn't push me away either.

"I'm so sorry. Please let me explain" I said as he turned his head to face me.
