I swam to the moon pool to clear my mind and to prevent myself from hurting someone else. What did I even do to them? I wondered if Elena would come after me but after a while I gave up and just slept there.

Elena's POV

I wish I had told Alison our powers would work on humans too cause after all blood is a liquid too, but now she had to figure it out by herself. I guess she couldn't control her emotions and her powers got out of control. I ran over to the lake after a while cause I guessed she'd be at the moon pool. When I reached the lake, someone held a piece of cloth on my face before I could even jump in or make a sound...

I woke up in a room as a mermaid. I was on the floor and the room was dark. Then someone came in and turned the lights on. He seemed really familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it.

"Well, well, look who's awake" He said as he splashed me with water.

"What the fuck?! What do you want with me?" I said annoyed.

"We're siren hunters. Our ancestors have hunted your kind for centuries turning them into simple myths. We're not gonna let you go off with it either" Another man said walking into the room.

He was a middle aged tall man, had blue eyes and dark hair.

"Now tell us where your other monster friend is" He said as he sat down on a chair.

"I don't have any monster friends as far as I know" I said mocking him.

"Don't you dare playing games with us" The younger guy said as he held a knife on my neck.

Shit, I was in trouble and had to get out quick. Think Elena, think. Then bingo! I quickly started burning them with my powers and they fainted. A heat stroke I guess, I said laughing. I looked around to see if there was anyone else and the area was clear so I quickly dried myself and was about to run outside as someone rushed into the room. It was Alison. She looked at the young dude on the floor in shock as he opened his eyes slowly and said her name making her snap back to reality.

"Elena come we have to go" She said as she grabbed my hand and we passed some men on the ground and went outside.

Apparently we were in a cabin in the park so we ran over to the lake and jumped in.

"Who was that guy?" I asked her mentioning the young dude.

Alison's POV

I couldn't believe my eyes. When I found Elena's hoodie in the park after the day I was at her place I knew something was wrong. I've searched the whole park and found a cabin. I went in and made the men inside hit the walls like dolls and found Elena. Then I saw him. It was unbelievable. It was Jason. My old Jason. What was he doing there though?

"Uh Elena remember Jason? My ex?" I said with a knot in my throat.

"Bingo! That's him, isn't he?" She said in shock mixed with relief.

I nodded and asked who the others were. She explained me everything, from siren hunters to Jason and I just couldn't or didn't want to believe what I heard.

"We have to be careful" She said as she rested her head on a rock same as me.

We were in big trouble...

A month later

It has been a difficult month, with me trying to control my powers when I'm angry or upset as I found out I can control people's blood too. So basically I could get them to do whatever I wanted but it was too weird and a bit dangerous. My relationship with Harry has gotten better as I stopped things with Fabian and he was the only one that made me feel safe besides Louis. Elena and Zayn had built a good relationship too. Liam knew everything that had happened. My hate for Ashley has grown a lot more as she was hitting on Harry during every single rehearsal though she'd get wet or slip for a reason, maybe it had to do with two mermaids. Today was a day we really didn't wanna experience again. It was our second full moon.

"You ready for this?" Elena said as she sat on my bed.

We didn't want anyone else with us as we didn't want to have any trouble again.

"Yeah, let's just get it over with" I said as I picked up the TV remote.

We were gonna watch a movie and hopefully we'd fall asleep before the full moon rises. We were still awake though and nothing happened and I remember dozing off when the TV was still on.

When we woke up we just looked at each other with a confused look.

"I feel like nothing happened" Elena said rubbing her eyes.

"Maybe nothing really happened, look" I said pointing at the pencil on the door knob before yawning.

"So we never really left the room" She said happily and we called for Louis.

"Louis we never left the room. Nothing happened" I said smiling as he sat on my bed.

"Maybe it was for the first time" He said smiling.

After we had breakfast, Elena and I decided to go for a morning swim as usual. We were having fun in the reef as I saw something move towards us and quickly hid, so did Elena. As the thing swam above us, we were in a shock. 'It can't be. Her?!' I yelled in my head. Well things just got even better...
