I still couldn't believe my eyes. It was Ashley! A mermaid! How?! Why?! I thought I should end it so I was about to drown her with my powers but Elena pulled me behind some rocks before she could see us or before I could do anything. Then we quickly swam to the lake and got out of the water.

"What the hell?! Why is she a mermaid?!" I yelled at Elena angrily.

"How should I know?! We have to talk to Liam" She said as she dried us.

"Agreed" I said and got up.

Just as we were about to leave I saw someone looking at us from far away. It was Jason and he turned away when he saw me looking at him.

"Come on this place gives me the creeps now" I said pulling Elena with me...

"Ashley?! A mermaid?! Are you sure?" Liam asked us in shock when we told him.

"Yeah it was Ashley but she looks like a salmon more than a mermaid" Elena said laughing so I hit her arm.

"We need to figure a way to end this. We need to gain her trust and find out how" I said as she made a weirded out face.

"I don't wanna be her friend" She said annoyed.

"Oh do you think I do? No. But I'm not gonna sit around as she takes everything that's mine one by one. We're the original mermaids" I said getting up as Liam held my hand.

"Look Ali, you need to be rational. You can't just tell her you're a mermaid" He said as I pulled my hand free.

I got out and ran to the lake, maybe she'd be at the moon pool but it was empty so I swam back to the lake. I got out and waited till I was dry. As I was about to leave someone pulled me into the forest.

"You need to leave" It was Jason.

"Why? What are you even doing here?" I asked him disappointed.

"It's too dangerous for you. Please, I didn't know we were after you. I don't want to lose you for good" He said holding my hand.

"Well you know what? I'm stronger than you think I am and you've already lost me Jason, a long time ago. So go and tell your hunter friends to leave us alone or it'll be all of your end" I said as I bent the blood in his body and crashed him to the ground so I could run away.

I was so sick of being afraid, being bossed around and letting that Ashley bitch get away with anything she wants. Well not this time, I said to myself and got my phone out to dial Fabian.

"Alison! Babe, why have you been avoiding me?" He said answered cheekily.

"I don't have time to talk Fabian, just tell me where Ashley lives" I commanded him.

"Oh, I sense a bitch fight" He said and gave me her address.

I looked at the house for some time to make sure she was home and alone. I waited for her to come out and just as she did, I splashed her with water using the water from the sprinklers.

"Well, well, look at what the cat dragged in, or should I say the ocean?" I said after she turned into a mermaid.

Elena was right, she really looked uglier with a tail. She didn't have our mermaid glow.

"Ugh help me please" She said putting her hand out.

"Why should I? Tell me how this happened?" I said leaning down.

"Well you and Elena have been acting really weird so I followed you and saw everything you can do. Then on Friday I was searching for your 'moon pool' as you mentioned it and fell right into it. Isn't this amazing?" She said happily.

I swear I wanted to kill her right there but I needed her to trust me.

"Yeah sure, so you know you have to keep this as a secret" I said firmly and she nodded.

Then I told her about my powers and Elena's but didn't tell we could control the water in people's bodies too. Before I knew it, she thought she could trust me. Then I felt like someone was watching us to I helped her to get dry and told her to go inside. I was on my way home as someone texted me. It was Jason.

'Please get out of town before something terrible happens'

I just rolled my eyes and put my phone in my pocket.

"Harry!" I screamed as I saw him sitting in the living room.

Both Louis and Harry seemed shocked to see me this excited but I really didn't want him to leave my side. I quickly jumped on him and kissed him.

"Whoa, not in front of the brother" Louis said making us part.

I giggled and looked at Harry.

"Can we go upstairs?" I asked him nicely.

"Sure babe" He said so we said our goodnights to Louis.

"I sure missed you" I said as I sat on my bed.

"Hey I miss you every minute I'm not with you" He said playing with my fingers, making me go shy.

We were just enjoying each other's company as my phone started buzzing. It was Jason again and Harry saw it too.

"Is he giving you a hard time? I can fix him up if you want me to" He said coldly.

"No, it's fine Harry. You know I love you, so he doesn't matter" I said smiling resting my head on his shoulder.

He sighed, I knew I broke his trust when I kissed Jesse in front of everyone but it didn't mean anything. We just talked for a while and changed into our pjs. I got under the covers and waited for Harry to come. I just closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

"You know Alison, true love isn't easy but it must be fought for because once you find it, it can never be replaced so know that I'm always gonna be fighting for you" He whispered in my ear and kissed the top of my head.

That was when I was sure he was the one but was I really the one for him?...

When I woke up, I was in a different room than mine. Apparently I slept walk but where was I. Plus I was a mermaid and the room smelled funny.

"Well well, look at you" The guy I rescued Elena from said.

Oh shit.

"Don't look too confused deary, we know how to attract sirens to us" He said smiling.

"I am not a siren! But if you don't let me go, you'd wish I was one" I said angrily.

"Oh really? What you're gonna turn all the water around me into jelly?" He mocked me.

Apparently he thought our power was only that, well too bad for him.

"Actually..." I said smiling wickedly. "That's not really my powers" I said as I got him on his knees.

"Wha- what are you doing?" He said in pain and confused.

"You know you are full of bendable water" I smirked as his eyes got bigger. "Yeah I can kill you right now but I'm not like you" I said as I caused him to hit his head to the wall and he was out cold.

I waited till I was dry and ran home quickly. Harry and Louis were already awake and Elena was there too.

"Ali! Where were you?" Harry hugged me tightly.

"I'm sorry, I just went for a walk" I lied and mouthed 'hunters' to Elena behind Harry's back.

I hugged Louis too and they decided to let me and Elena should have some girl time.

"What happened? Ps you're the worst liar I've ever seen" She said laughing.

"Apparently they know a way to call mermaids to themselves. I woke up in their place but escaped thanks to my powers. They didn't see it coming" I was proud of myself.

"You know maybe we should use Ashley as a bait" She joked.

"You know it's not a bad idea" I smiled wickedly so she hit my arm.

"Alison! That's evil, even for you" She laughed.

We talked for a while then she went home and I got in bed. Even though it was only noon I really wanted this day to be over...
