Liam's POV

I was sitting in the living room with Elena as she got up went to the bathroom while Alison was making us some popcorn. After Elena came back, she was acting all weird.

"I'm really hungry" She said groaning.

"Well wait for Ali, she's bringing something" I said taking the remote so I can pause the movie.

"Ali! Popcorn!" Niall yelled like an animal.

She came in and put 2 bowls on the coffee table and sat on the carpet so I played the movie. We were watching Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides cause there were merpeople in it. I've been doing some research and apparently there are many types of them; like mermaids, sirens and stuff so we could find out more.

"Aren't they beautiful? Look at their tails. I want one" Alison said as the sirens came on.

"You already have o-" Elena was saying as I closed her mouth with my hand.

Something was seriously weird about them. Then Elena got up saying she was starving so I went to the kitchen with her. 'Shit!' I yelled in my head. I totally forgot to cover the windows in the kitchen or just basically any other room than the living room and the hall. 'Nicely done smart ass' I said in my head as Elena opened the fridge. She took a can of sardines and opened it. Then the horror, she ate them raw!

"I want more" She said as she took out 5 more cans.

Yep, I needed to take her away from the boys. I pulled her upstairs with me to Alison's room and put her in the tub so she wouldn't get away and handed her the cans.

"Don't move" I said as I went downstairs to check up on Alison.

She wasn't where I left her and the guys were playing Fifa. I checked the kitchen too but then I saw something in her pool. I rushed outside and there she was.

"Alison! They might see you" I freaked out as she held the sides of the pool.

"Liam, come swim with me. The water is amazing" She said like she was under a spell.

Thank god it was dark so she wasn't that recognizable.

"Come closer Liam" She said holding up her hand so I did and she said it again.

Then she kissed me.

"Alison! You have a boyfriend" I said getting up, I liked her but it wasn't right.

"Come closer" She said as she pulled me in the pool with water.

I got to the surface for air as I saw Louis coming outside.

"Don't make a sound" I said as I quickly got out of the pool.

"Liam? Why are you soaking wet?" He asked as I turned him around.

"Oh you know I just fell. Why don't we go inside?" I said as I walked towards the door.

"Have you seen Ali though?" He stopped.

"Yeah uh she's in her room with El, you know girl talk" I lied and we went inside.

Then Elena ran downstairs saying she wanted to swim and went outside and Louis followed her. Then the worst thing happened. Alison was sliding on a frozen pool as a mermaid and Elena was now a mermaid too.

"What the fuck?" Louis said looking at Alison then Elena.

"Hi Louis!" Alison yelled.

"But ho-how?" He stuttered as she sat down.

I explained him everything and I just couldn't believe he found out.

"So my sister and Elena are uh mermaids" He paused for a while sinking the information in. "Does anyone else know?"

"No only me mate" I said as Elena melted the water in the pool.

We talked for a while then Louis went to bed so I left as the girls were still swimming in the pool.


Alison's POV

I woke up to my alarm at 6 o'clock and I still had my clothes on. I just made Niall some popcorn, how did I even get in bed? I got up weirded out to wash my face.

"Oh shit!" I said as I fell hard to the floor.

"Ali are you okay?" Louis asked me from the other side of the door.

"Yeah Louis I'm fi-" I was saying as he got in.

"Uh" Was all I could say.

"Ali, if you need help, just tell me. Now that I know it's gonna be easier for you" He said as he handed me a towel.

"Uh yeah sure" What the hell?! Who told him? Me? Nah.

"As you guys told me yesterday, you need to dry yourself and then get ready for school" He said as I remembered Harry was coming to town today.

"Louis, can I stay home and make something nice for Harry?" I asked him shyly.

"Aw of course but have you made up your mind about your feelings?" He said making me think for a while.

"Yeah Louis, I think I love him" I said but I knew I still had a thing for Fabian too.

He agreed and left. After a while I got dressed to go to the supermarket. When I came back home Liam rushed in too.

"Ali we need to talk" He said catching his breath.

"About what?" I asked him confused.

"Our kiss. It wasn-" He was saying as I cut him off.

"Our what?!" I yelled back at him in shock.

"Don't you remember? You kissed me last night" He said as someone walked in the room.

"Step away from her Liam!" It was Harry.

Shit, apparently Louis told him I was gonna make something for him.

"Harry, you don't believe him do you?" I said turning to him.

"Of course I don't but stay out of this. I had enough of guys hitting on you and my supposedly best friend!" He said as he got in front of me facing Liam.

"This is between me and Ali" Liam yelled back at him.

They were both making fists and I quickly stood between them and said they needed to stop.

"Stay out of this!" Harry snapped at me and punched Liam.

Then Liam attacked him.

"Both of you, enough!" I yelled as Liam hit the door and Harry fell to the opposite direction.

It felt weird. Like I've done that. They were stunned, like they had no clue what just happened. How were they separated?

"I just can't" I said as I left the house running, in tears and ran over to Elena's house.

"Ali what happened?" She said as I went inside crying.

I told her everything and she looked like she knew something.

"It's probably nothing" She smiled.

"You're lying!" I said as she fell down.

"What's happening to me?!" I said crying even more and running outside towards the lake.
