Chapter 5

“Damn, Perrie. Does Cierra always have to buy skin tight dresses?” I groaned as she tried to tie the final string on the side of the dress.
“She wants you to look sexy for the boys.” Perrie giggled to herself.
“I don’t want to look sexy. I’m not looking for a hookup. She knows this, Perrie!” I exclaimed. I looked at the dress that literally outlined every curve on my body. I had to admit that I loved how it looked on me, but I wasn’t too thrilled with the idea of showing off everything I had to own on myself.
Perrie finished tying my dress and took a look at me, “You look gorgeous!” She vocalized.
My cheeks flushed bright red. I tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, “Thanks.”
Soon, there was a knock on the door. Perrie and I both turned our heads to the door to watch whoever it was come into the bedroom. We both saw Cierra walk in.
“You look stunning!” Cierra smiled as she seemed to forget why she came into the room in the first place.
“Thanks. Can we drop it now?” I asked her.
She nodded, “The boys are here, Perrie. We’re waiting.”
“Tell them we’ll be right down.” She answered Cierra.
With that, Cierra left the room. Perrie slowly stepped back from me and smiled, “You look absolutely stunning. You’re going to knock them dead!”
I blushed, “Uhm, thank you, I guess.”
Without a moment of hesitation, I felt Perrie’s hand around my arm. She had a firm grasp on it and began to pull me from the bedroom, “Come on! The boys are waiting!”
I really didn’t have time to object to anything due to how fast the action actually was. In about two seconds, she had me pulled halfway down the stairs. I literally felt like I was about to trip over my own heels and we were just on the first flight of stairs. Finally, I had to put a halt on the race.
“Perrie, wait!” I shouted. She turned around and looked at me.
“What’s the matter? Are you hurt?” She asked worriedly
“No,” I answered, “I just want to walk at my own pace. You know, without having to follow skid marks to bed tonight?”
She looked at me for a moment, but smiled and winked, “I getcha! I’ll go down and introduce you!”
“That isn’t what I meant!” I tried to reply, but it was too late. As quick as she had drug me down the first thing of stairs, she had flew down the rest before I could even finish the word what. I groaned as I heard Perrie put on the announcer voice.
“And now-now-now. Ladies and gentlemen-men-men! I introduce to you, the lovely, the talented, the amazing Mitchie!” She exclaimed.
I didn’t even look anyone in the eye as I walked down the stairs with my head covered somewhat, “Perrie, you’re a fucking idiot.”
Oddly enough, I heard a laughter coming from someone. I wasn’t sure who it was because it didn’t sound like Zayn, Perrie, nor Cierra. Hesitantly, I looked up and I was met by two green eyes. That was the absolute first thing I saw that night. I started to look around and saw the familiar famous faces. However, even with five famous boys in the room, I was dead set on looking at the one with the green eyes. I couldn’t explain why, but my eyes didn’t want to avert. Eventually, Cierra broke me from my daze.
“You alright, Mitchie?” She asked.
“Huh? Oh yeah! I’m totally cool.” I smiled.
“Well, let’s get to know each other!” Perrie sang.
“Perrie,” Zayn interrupted her, “I think I should do this one.”. She nodded. “Well, Mitchie, these are the boys. That’s Liam, Louis, Niall, and Harry.” He said as he pointed to each individual.
“Nice to meet you.” Liam said while he held out his hand for me to shake.
“We’ve heard somethings about you!” Louis added on in a cheerful tone.
“What’s up!?” Niall belted.
With the three boys babbling on and on about things, I felt bad for Harry. He didn’t seem to really utter a word. He just nodded and smiled at me. I just smiled and nodded back at him.
“Enough of the talk! Let’s get to eating!” Cierra shouted over the noises, “I call the seat next to Niall!”
I just rolled my eyes at her. Of course she would be the one to want to sit right next to Niall. “Wow.” Was all I could say.
“Shut up!” She silenced me.

The dinner table seemed very gleeful and full of light. Everyone was talking about what had happened. How the tour was going. Who they were dating. Who they were crushing on. However, even with food in my stomach, and Louis trying to discuss everything under the sun to me, I just couldn’t focus on anything. I felt a pair of eyes locked on me the entire time.
“So, Mitche,” Louis said, “surely a fine young gal like you is taken. Am I right?”
I looked up, still focused on Harry, “No, No actually. I don’t see the need for a boyfriend.”
The table went silent. I looked around and Louis had his jaw dropped, “Wow. You’re single.”
“Yeah. No big deal. I don’t need a boyfriend.” I shrugged.
“Most girls like you have the boys crawling all over her.” Niall said with a mouthful of food.
“She hasn’t had a boyfriend in the longest time.” Cierra said.
Liam looked at me, “How come?”
“She rejects every advance a boy gives her.” Cierra said.
“I can talk for myself, thank you.” I growled at Cierra.
She looked at me, “What? I’m telling the truth. You turn everyone away, and I really think it’s stupid.”
“And what the fuck is it to you who I see?” I snapped.
“Girls, “ Zayn stepped in, “please don’t fight.”
“Why are you so pushy on the subject?” Cierra shot at me.
“Cierra! That’s her choice!” Perrie tried to silence her.
“Because unlike you, I don’t need a man to complete who I am!” I yelled.
“Well, maybe that’s why you’re so depressed all the time!” She yelled back.
“How’d you know? I’m fine the way I am.”
Liam looked at Louis and Niall, “We should go.”
“No, stay.” Cierra said, “Well, Mitchie. Maybe you inherited your moms traits.”
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?” I growled as I held onto the table. I could tell I was getting white knuckles, and Cierra would get a blow to the nose.
“I wouldn’t go there.” Perrie snapped at her cousin.
“No, I will. She’s blowing up over nothing.” She looked at me, “You’re mom’s the same way. Maybe that’s why she’s alone right now.”
“CIERRA!” Perrie screamed. The table fell silent.
I shot up from the table, “Fuck you, Cierra.” I said and ran up the stairs.
Not too long after the incident happened, there was a knock on the door.
“Not in the mood to make up right now, Cierra!” I screamed at the door.
“It’s not Cierra.” I heard a raspy voice.
I got up and threw the door open, “What the fuck do you want!?” I nearly shouted until I looked up and saw Harry.
“Why don’t we talk?” He asked.
