Only You

We had spent almost 3 hours looking for an apartment. We found one. It looked perfect. I hope it looks as good in reality. It was next to college. I didn’t need to buy anything. It had furniture and everything I needed. I had called the owner and asked about some details. I was going to look at it tomorrow so that would be perfect.

Emily had just left. She was having dinner with her family. She already had an apartment. Meanwhile I was thinking. About Harry, Nathan and what I had to write in the note. I honestly don’t know what to do about Harry. I know he’s the player type. And I don’t fall for that type. I know he could easily hurt me.

“Mia?” My mother entered my room. I hadn’t heard her come in.

“Oh hi mum” I sat up from my lying position.

“What are you doing” She sat on the chair next to my desk.

“I was just thinking.. about things” I sighed

“I’m sorry for earlier” I looked at me.

“No mum it’s me. You have every right to worry you’re my mother. I am the one to be apologizing for how I’ve been behaving lately” I picked my nails.

“It’s ok Mia.” She smiled.

“I also have something to tell you..”

“What’s wrong” She tried to read me.

“I have decided, since I’m 18, that I going to move out.” I felt bad leaving her here al alone…
“Oh honey you don’t have to…”

“I know but I want to start a new life. In my own house and have responsibilities” I explained

“Your so grown up” She held a proud smile. I stood up a gave her a hug.

“I have good news” Good news?

“Your father… is coming here” My eyes widened.

“What! When!” I jumped

“Wait I’m not finished. He’s coming back home. To live” She added.
I screamed.
Since I was 12 he started traveling. It was just his job. He would come once in two years. And only for 1 week. Sometimes I would visit him. But living here again.. It couldn’t get better.
“Oh mum!!” I hugged her. Or squeezed her.

“When!!”

“In 2 weeks” She smiled widely

“Oh I love you Mum!” I hugged her once more.

"I love you too, so show me your new apartment” She pointed at my laptop.
I was still thrilled at the fact that he was going to live here. The last time I saw him was a year ago. I miss him terribly.

After my mum left my room I grabbed my phone and told Emily and Anthony the news. They were really happy for me. I felt really happy and excited.

Then suddenly my phone started ringing.

Unknown calling…

“Hello..?” I answered.
“Still haven’t saved my phone number babe?” It was Harry
“What do you want Harry” I rolled my eyes
“You” He simply answered.
“Harry…” I groaned
“Ok fine… Do you want to come over” He asked. I could already picture his cheeky smile.
“Harry you just left. No thank you.”
“Come on babe… I’m bored”
“So you want me come over just because you’re bored?”
“Yeah…”
“I’m not bored. I have something to do so no.” I lied. I was bored.
“Oh come on, you’re just lying on your bed staring at the ceiling…” What?!
“Oh shit…” He muttered
I ran over to my open window looking for Harry until I spotted Black Range Rover.

“Harry , what the hell are you doing?!” I shouted.
“You looked quite hot lying on your bed like that” He smirked.
“Good bye Harry” I ignored his last comment and hung up. I closed my curtains so he couldn’t see me. I don’t know how to deal with this…

Five minutes later the doorbell rang. I didn’t bother to answer my mum was down and besides, I had no friends coming over.

“Mia? Mia, there’s someone here for you!” My mum shouted. I went downstairs to check who it would possibly be.


“Hello Mia” Harry! He was standing in the entry!
