Chapter 23
Jessica's P.O.V.
The two weeks went way faster than expected. Harry and I were practically inseparable. Occasionally, he would even drag my into the bathroom whilst he peed, we couldn't even be apart for 2 minutes. How we are going to go three months without each other is something I hate to think about.
Harry's last day came way too quickly. We spent most of the day in his home theatre cuddling and watching movies. Later that evening, we all went to Liam's house for dinner.
“Well, we better get going” Louis said, standing up.
Eleanor stood up and gave began giving all of the boys a hug goodbye. She didn't seem very upset, but I guess she was used to Louis constantly going on tour or traveling to different countries. After Louis and Eleanor left, Zayn and Perrie went home. Followed by Niall and Kendall.
“Come on baby, let's go home” Harry said to me, as he grabbed both of our jackets.
I stood up and gave Liam a goodbye hug.
“Take care of Harry” I whispered in his ear, making sure only he had heard.
He smiled at me and nodded. I turned around and Harry was weakly smiling at me. He put out his hand and I took it, before walking out of Liam's flat.
“Are you alright babe?” Harry asked.
He walked over to me and wrapped his arms around my waist. He sat down on his bed and pulled me so that I was straddled on his lap.
“I'm trying to not think about how you're going away tomorrow for three months but it's really hard” I mumbled, looking down at my hands.
“It's okay to be upset baby. I don't expect you to be okay with this. But just remember that whenever you miss me, just call me. If you need me, I'll be on the first flight home. Everything's gonna be alright” he replies soothingly.
I forced a smile and he gently kissed my lips.
Harry's P.O.V.
“Jess, I've got to leave to go to the airport” I shouted up the stairs.
Jessica appeared at the top of the stairs and made her way gracefully down. We were in Jessica's house. We stayed at mine last night and we drove here this morning in my car, which I'd be leaving in Jessica's garage.
Plans changed a little. Simon said we had to fly to England a few days before the girls could join us. He also told us to keep the surprise going until the night before the girls' flight.
I looked at Jessica and my heart broke. She had tear stains running down her cheeks and her eyes were slightly bloodshot.
“Baby don't cry” I said, instantly walking over to her and embracing her in a tight hug.
She covered her face with her hands and buried her head in my chest. I squeezed her as I kissed her hair.
“Please stop crying” I smoothed, rubbing her back.
She sniffled against me before pulling away.
“I don't want you to go” I said, as tears fell down her face. The more she cries, the more it hurts me that I'm hiding something from her.
“I know it's gonna be weird not seeing each other everyday since we've pretty much spent everyday together since we first met nearly 2 months ago, but I promise you I will text you 24/7 and call you every night! I'll send you cute messages every morning to wake up to, so that you know I'm thinking about you. Even if its 4 am where I am, if you ever need me just call me. I'm always gonna be here for you, even when I'm not physically here. You mean so much to me Jessica, don't forget that, okay?” I replied, looking her deep in the eyes.
She stared me in the eyes, not breaking eye contact. She slowly nodded before wrapping her arms around my neck. I grabbed her waist and lifted her up. She wrapped her legs around my waist and giggled through the few tears that were still falling.
“Stop crying love, you're too pretty to be upset” I smiled, putting her back on the ground.
A limo pulled up outside Jessica's house. All the boys were inside. I grabbed my bag and Jessica's hand and headed outside. I put my bag in the trunk while Jessica talked to Niall, he was sitting in the car with the window rolled down. I interrupted them by grabbing Jessica by the hips and spinning her around to face me. I passionately pressed my lips against hers. Her hands snaked around my neck and ran through the back of my hair. I ran my tongue along her bottom lip, asking for entrance. Our tongues played with each other for a few moments before we were interrupted by Niall coughing. He burst out laughing when Jessica and I pulled away from each other to look at him.
“I've gotta go babe” I said quietly, leaning my forehead against Jessica's.
“I'll miss you” she whispered, before lightly kissing my lips.
She took and step back and began walking back into the house. I climbed into the car and waved as we drove off.
“Did you not tell her that she's joining us in a few days?” Niall asked me.
“No, why?” I asked confused.
“Harry! I don't think Simon was being serious about keeping it a secret. We all told the girls! Does Jessica really not know?” Liam questioned.
“WHAT? I wanted to tell her but I thought it was gonna be a surprise for all of the girls?” I said, still confused.
“Text the girls now and tell them not to tell Jessica” Louis suggested, as the boys all took out their phones and began texting their girlfriends.
“It can be your one month anniversary surprise for Jess” Niall winked at me.
That reminds me, I need to get her a really amazing present now, since I've basically just broken her heart by pretending I'm not gonna see her for three months.
