Chapter 24
Jessica's P.O.V.
It's been 3 days since Harry and the boys left. I haven't really done much. I've just been staying in my house. I think I've only showered once since he left so yeah, I look like a homeless person. And I probably smell like one too. Harry texts me all day everyday. I wake up to the cutest good morning texts from him. I miss him a lot.
I woke up on day 4 because of the vibrating coming from under my pillow. I pulled out my phone and slide my finger across the screen, not looking to see who was calling.
“Hello..” I croaked down the phone.
“Jess, can you open the gate please?” Danielle asked.
“Yeah sure” I replied, before hanging up.
I grabbed the remote off my side table and pressed the button that opens the front gates. I kicked off the duvet and flopped out of bed onto the floor.
I walked down to the front door and opened it just as Danielle, Perrie, Kendall and Eleanor walked up the steps to the door.
“Good morning sunshine” Danielle said, kissing my cheek as she walked into my house.
The other girls followed behind and we all walked into the kitchen.
“Hey Jess, where's Gigi? Kylie asked me to tell her something” Kendall said.
“Uhh I'm not sure, her room maybe” I replied, somewhat suspicious.
Kendall left and headed upstairs to Gigi.
“So, we've decided to go shopping since we think you're going into a state of depression” Perrie smiled.
“I'm not depressed?” I kind of asked.
“What Perrie means is, you seem kinda sad lately and we figured it's since Harry is gone so we want to cheer you up and get your mind off things for a few hours” Eleanor explained.
“Oh.. Okay then. Well I need to shower so I'll run up and do that now. Make yourselves at home, there's food in the refrigerator if you're hungry” I told them, as I grabbed an apple from the fridge and left the kitchen.
“So can you text me or something when you're done and we'll come back cause we're leaving at 6 tonight I think” I heard Kendall say as I walked down the hall towards my room.
I slowed my pace and tried to listen to her talking to Gigi.
“Okay cool. I think I'll get Nina to help me so we'll be done faster” Gigi replied to her.
“Great, thank so much! See you later” Kendall said, as her voice got louder.
I quietly ran down the hall and slipped into my room, just as I heard Gigi's bedroom open and Kendall's footsteps emerge.
I wonder what they were talking about..
After my shower, I slipped on a pair of panties and a bra before looking through my clothes for something to wear. I decided on a baby pink silk crop top with a big bow on the back, and a pair of tight black high waist shorts. I dried and straightened my hair then put on my makeup. I slipped on a pair of Steve Madden military boots before grabbing my phone and heading downstairs.
“I'm so tired now” I moaned, as the girls and I threw our shopping bags in the trunk of Danielle's car.
We ended up shopping for about 4 and a half hours but Kendall suggested we go home. She was acting weird all day.
We arrived at my house and I hopped out to open the gate. When I got back in the car, all of the girls were smiling at me.
“What?” I asked, looking at them all individually.
“We have a surprise for you” Eleanor said, as Danielle drove the car up the driveway.
I could tell she was trying not to squeal.
“Why?” I asked, extremely confused.
“Well, it's not actually from us” Perrie said, hopping out of the car.
“Who is it from then?” I questioned.
“Just, come inside” Eleanor said, grabbing my hand and running up to my front door as the other girls got the shopping bags out of the trunk.
We walked into my house to see a pile of suitcases.
“Who owns all of this?” I asked pointing to the suitcases.
“Mine, Dani's, Ken's and Per's. While you were in the shower, your sisters helped the girls and I bring them in from Danielle's car” Eleanor said.
I still wasn't catching on.
“Why? Are you moving into my house or something?” I asked, completely baffled.
I walked into the kitchen and Eleanor followed me. I noticed a thin white envelope on the counter. I walked over to it and read the front of it as I picked it up.
“Jessica”
I opened the envelope to find five Virgin Atlantic Upper Class airline tickets with each of our names on them. They said we have a flight at 8:30 tonight from LAX to London Gatwick. There was a little note on the inside. I pulled it out and read it.
“Surprise! Ready to spend the next 3 months on tour? I can't wait to see you. -H xx”
I stared at the note and airplane tickets for a few seconds before shaking my head.
“I'm gonna kill that boy when we get to London” I smiled.
“Kendall told Gigi earlier to pack your suitcase with everything she thinks you'll need for the 3 months. We need to get going now though because it's 6.30 now and it will take half an hour to get to the airport” Eleanor explained.
“Did all of you know this whole time that we would be going with them?” I asked, trying to register everything that's just happened.
“Simon was joking and told the boys to keep it a surprise from us, but Harry, being the little cupcake that he is, thought Simon was being serious, that's why he didn't tell you! The rest of us have known since about a week before the guys left” Eleanor said, filling me in.
I nodded and smiled to myself at how stupid Harry is.
“Well, let's go then! The sooner we get to the airport, the sooner we get on the plane, the sooner I get to see my Hazza” I said, strutting out of the kitchen.
“That's the cutest thing I've ever heard” Eleanor exclaimed as she followed me.
