Chapter 22
Jessica's P.O.V.
“I'm home” I yell through my house, as I walked in the front door.
Our Hawaii vacation came to an end and now we are all back in Los Angeles.
“Jessssss” Gigi screamed, as she ran down the stairs and jumped into my arms.
I didn't realize how much I missed my little sister until now.
“G I missed you” I said, putting her down.
I threw my arms around her neck and pulled her into a hug. When we pulled away, Gigi offered to take my suitcase and carry it up the stairs for me, as I began telling her all about our vacation.
Harry's P.O.V.
I woke up from my slumber and rubbed my eyes. It was nice to be back in LA. As soon as I got home from the airport, I went straight to bed and haven't left since. I rolled over and grabbed my phone off the bedside table. Just as I clicked into the message app to send Jessica a text, I noticed a new text from Niall.
From Niall: Harry lad, we have to go to the studio at 3pm to have a meeting with Simon.
I saw the time on my phone said 14:04, meaning I had 15 minutes to get ready before the 40 minutes drive to the studio. I hopped out of bed, had a quick shower, threw on a pair of slacks and a t-shirt before grabbing my phone and keys and heading to my car.
“I'm sorry boys, the tickets have already gone on sale months ago. You leave in two weeks for Europe. Make sure to pack everything you need, you're gonna be there for three months” Simon said, before fixing his suit jacket and standing up from the table.
“Can we at least bring our girlfriends with us? Three months is a long time to be without them” Niall spoke up.
Simon sighed.
“I'm sure I can make that happen, Niall. But since you boys are all hopeless romantics, I suggest you all pretend they can't come until the night before you leave, then surprise them all by saying they're coming with you” Simon said, winking at us before leaving the room.
The guys and I stayed sat in the meeting room in the studio building.
“Well” Louis said, standing up, “at least we won't be five little depressed lonely boys for three months”.
The rest of us chuckled before standing up and heading out the door.
“Babe, I need to tell you something” I said, wrapping my arms around Jessica's slender waist from behind as I followed her into the kitchen.
She giggled as I squeezed her hips.
“Tell me” she said, spinning around to face me.
“Come, sit” I replied, grabbing her hand and bringing to over to the counter.
I lifted her up so that she was sitting on the counter-top. Her legs were open and I was standing between them. My arms were wrapped loosely around her bum as her arms were around my neck.
“I don't really know how to say this..” I began.
Worry fell upon Jessica's face. This wasn't going to be easy.
“We had a meeting with Simon today, and he said we have two weeks until we have to pack our bags are go to Europe for tour” I explained.
Her eyebrows creased and she looked down.
“For how long?” she asked, removing her hands from my neck and staring at them as she fiddled with her fingers, avoiding eye contact.
“Three months” I said, hesitantly.
She instantly looked up at me. Hurt filled her eyes. She's looked broken. I can't believe I'm doing this to her. I'm making her look this upset. She broke her gaze with me and her eyes wandered around the kitchen.
“So I'm not gonna see you for three months?” she asked, looking back at me.
I can't lie to her, I really can't.
“I'm sure I'll have days off that I can come back and visit you! Or maybe you can come visit me. I promise you, we will not be apart for the whole three months” I said, rubbing her cheek.
I wasn't technically lying to her! I was just bending the truth a little so that she'll be surprise when I tell her that she's actually coming with us.
“Well then, we shall spend every moment together for the next two weeks” she smiled.
I could tell her smile was forced and that she was trying to hide the hurt in her voice.
“You're amazing” I smiled back.I cupped her face and gently pressed my lips against hers.
