Chapter 2 - XFactor
I looked at Kelsie and she looked hurt when he turned his full attention to me. "Her name is Brooklyn. She's mute. No one knows anything about her or her brother." Kelsie spoke discussed. I turned to Harry and he stuck his hand out. I bravely shook his hand and nodded my head, then quickly looked behind me to she Shawn. YES! MY KNIGHT AND SHINING ARMOR! I looked back at Harry and Kelsie, they both stared at me. Kelsie was smiling that I had to leave and Harry had a sad expression. I waved by to them and quickly jogged off to my brother's side quickly.
Shawn threw his arm around my neck and said, "I don't like that new guy. Stay away from him." then kissed my head. I looked up at him and spoke quietly, "I don't plan on ever staying with him", and I kissed his cheek with a smile on my face. I looked back and saw Harry looked like he was hurt expression. He turned back to Kelsie and asked something that made her look mad towards me. She looked back at him and replied to something that made him smile and look at me. I looked back forward quickly and went to my next class that my brother dropped me off at. I wonder what they talked about.
Harry's P.O.V.
When Brooklyn shook my hand and nodded her head, she turned around, quickly waved 'bye' to us, and jogged off to a guy. The guy threw his arm around her neck, said something, then kissed her head. I saw her kiss his cheek and I instantly thought, her boyfriend. Well that hurt, I actually liked her! She looked back and her beautiful smile turned into a confused face. I looked back at Kelsie and asked, "that's her boyfriend isn't it?" She looked at the two and looked mad. She turned to me and replied with disgust, "no, that's her brother, Shawn." God, she doesn't like her at all! Good thing I saved Brook from crying in front of people. I felt a smile appear on my face as I looked back at her. She faced forward and entered her next class. I couldn't help, but feel happy as I entered my next class.
(Lunch...)
I walk into the lunch room and instantly spot Brooklyn sitting at a table alone with a white board. Look's like she's drawing on it. I walk over to her and set my tray down next to her. She looked up at me with wide eye's. She then looked somewhere as I sat down next to her. I looked to where she was looking and saw a group of girl's looking at us. I waved to them and they all turned around giggling with red face's. I looked at Brooklyn with a smile on my face, "so? What's up?" I asked her. She began to write on her white board.
Brook's P.O.V.
"So? What's up?", Harry asked me. I instantly wrote on my white board, 'What do you want, Harry?' He looked at it then back at me, "to be friend's. I don't have any." he shrugged. My mouth dropped. I looked at my white board and began to write a paragraph 'EXCUSE ME?! BUT YOU HAVE ALL THE GIRL'S THROWING THEMSELVES AT YOU! I bet all the guy's here are just praying to be you! What do you mean you have none?!? I just saw you make like 50 guy friend's-', he griped my wrist and pulled it away from writing. "They just wanted me to hook them up with some of the girl's", he said. I rolled my eye's and removed my wrist from his grip. I got up and left him at the table, remembering what my brother said to me, I don't like that new guy. Stay away from him.
(A few month's later...)
The month's past and Harry has stuck to my side like an itch I couldn't scratch, but today, he hasn't appeared anywhere. As I was walking towards the old music room, I heard a wonderful voice singing. I walked in and was amazed by who it was. It was Harry. He was facing the wall, so he didn't see me. He was singing Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder. I just laid back on the wall and listened to his voice.
He suddenly stopped signing and I opened my eye's, and there he stood in front of me, with his mouth open. "You heard me singing? I'm really not that good", he looked down at his feet. I pulled out my white board and wrote on it, 'no, your not good. Your amazing! You should audition for the X-factor!' I showed it to him. He looked up at me smiling, showing his dimple's, "you really think so?" he asked. Those dimple's appeared to much, I just had to poke them. I poked his dimple's for the first time ever, and nodded my head. He smile wider, "are you positive?" he said. I nodded my head again, "are you really sure?" he started to annoy me. After about a minute of nodding my head, I was positive my head was about to fall off, "ARE YOU POSITIVELY POSITIVE THAT I SHOUT AUDITION FOR THE X-FACTOR?!" he got on my nerve's. I took a deep breath, "YE-", I cut myself off knowing I was just about to say a word. My eye's went wide. HE ALOMOST GOT ME TO TALK!? WHO THE HELL IS THIS BOY!? His smile grew wider and he said, "okay then, I'll audition", I rolled my eye's and walked back to the lunch room.
