Back For You
Chapter 1 - First Met Him
I wake up to my annoying alarm clock. I just lay there in bed, until my brother walk's into the room ripping my warm blanket off of me, "wakey wakey! We have school!" he threw me some cloth's. I swung my leg's off the beg and got up. "Fine. Now go so I could get ready for this treacherous day to come!" I shooed him out of my room. I hate going to school. I'm positive that it's supposed to be a living hell.
I looked into the mirror and applied some makeup to hide my hideous face. Then I looked down at my appearance and agreed with it before I stuffed my book's in my back and walked out into the living room to see our step-father passed out on the couch. I shake my head and quickly scoff down the cereal my brother left out for me. "God, where're your manner's you pig!" Shawn insulted me as I put in the sink. "Say's my daddy. NOW LET'S GO BEFORE WE'RE LATE!" I haul him out the door.
We got into his car and drove off to school. I turned on the radio and Can't Stop by Maroon 5 came on. "HELL YEAH! THIS IS MAH JAM!" I shouted and started to sing along. Not soon after, I started dancing in my seat while singing along, while Shawn was just laughing at my move's. "I still don't understand why your so shy! I bet everybody would love you if you just came out of your shell", Shawn spoke as we pulled into the parking lot of the school. "Well to bad, you just have to live with that", I said before I opened the door and got out before he could stop me.
We both walked into the hall's and noticed girl's all giggling, blushing, and pointing at someone. When I turned my attention to who it was, it was the transfer student with curly hair, and piercing green eye's. I didn't know his name yet, but I sure did know he had all the girl's just throwing themselves at him. I knew everyone from this school, from first, middle, last name, and history. Don't get me wrong, I'm no stalker. Let's just say when you’re mute, you'll know everything. No one knew who I was. I'm just the girl who never spoke to anyone, or invisible should I say.
I walk to my first class and sat in the front like I always did. It's easier to focus. The rest of the class came in and I noticed that the new student was in my class. He locked eye's with me and I just froze. No one has ever made eye contact with me that fast. I looked away awkwardly and stared ahead and to my surprise, he took the seat next to me.
The class waited for our teacher, but he never came. Mr. Rammer, our principal, walked into the room and said we had a free period since Ms. Stevens, our teacher, had to make last minute changes to her agenda. Then almost instantly when he left, all the girl's got out of their seat's and started talking to the new guy as all the other boy's just looked at them in disbelief. "Well isn't he womanizer", I heard one of them say. I chuckle at that, stand up, and walk to the back of the room to get out of the girl's way. "Well look who's back here", Will turned around in his seat to face me. He was a nice person, he cared for me like a sister.
I pulled out my whiteboard and wrote 'what do you want Willy?' on it, then showed it to him. I honestly don't know is we're friend's or not. I don't even believe he talk's to me. "Hey, you know I don't like that name!" he pouted, I rolled my eye's, erased it the wrote 'oh common! You know you love me like a sister!' I showed it to him. He scoffed and changed the subject, "I still know nothing about you. How 'bout you tell me some thing's about yourself? and why are you mute?" he asked with hope in his voice. I shook my head no and he started to rant on about why I should talk and why he need to know thing's about me. He kept going on and on to the point where the bell rung and I walked out of the class room quickly, before Will could chase after me.
When I closed my locker after getting my book's out, I turned to my right to see piercing green eye's. I completely froze and couldn't think of anything to do. I looked around quickly and saw some girl's staring at me with death glare's. I slowly turned my attention to the boy standing in front of me. "Harry Styles. I'm the new transfer student and apparently I'm your locker neighbor." he let out a cheeky grin. I nod my head and walked away quickly. I felt really embarrassed. I don't know why, but that just happens to me when people try to talk to me. God, I hate myself for being so shy!
As I was walking to my next class, the queen of the school came up to me, also known as the bully, Kelsie Anderson. "Well look who we have here! It's the bitch Brooklyn", she slapped the book's out of my arm's. I looked down at the book's then pick them up quickly. Keeping my head down, I stood up and stood there. "You're hideous bitch. I could understand why your parent's gave you up for adoption." she insulted me. Tear's were threatening to fall, but I didn't let them. Shawn! WHERE ARE YOU!? I tried to mind message him. "I just can't believe your-", Kelsie was cut off by a voice, "Hello ladies, what'cha talking about?" he said. I looked up and saw Harry. What the hell?! I thought with a confused expression on my face.
I turned to face Kelsie and she was staring at Harry, playing with her hair, "oh, nothing! Just some girl talk. My name is Kelsie.", she smiled. I turned to Harry and stuck his hand out to her and said, "I'm Harry. Nice to meet you, and who are you? I didn't quite catch your name." Harry turned his attention to me with a wide grin exposing his dimple's that I just wanted to poke!
