Literal Amnesia
Chapter 3
Laney's POV
They have fluids running through me. I’ve had ct scans blood tests and other tests I will probably never know the names of. No one’s giving me many answers,although I’ve been screaming them in my head for the past couple of hours.
“Calum is on his way honey.”The nurse smiled at me before leaving my room. Who is Calum? Nurses keep bringing him up like I know who he is.And why does everyone here have an accent? I think I am in Australia but I don't know why or how I could have gotten here. More questions that have been added on my list of questions I can’t ask. I’m up to 28 questions now,in case anyone is wondering.
A boy, probably a teenager or in his early 20’s was at my door.
“Laney”He whispered.Oh my god.He looks like an older version of Calum,one of my fav-wait Is this the Calum that was supposed to be here? He looks so much older,and a bit of a mess to be quite honest. Isn’t he my around my age? Why did he suddenly age so much?
”Oh my God you’re awake.” he said coming up and hugging me. Me.My favorite youtuber is hugging me. I would so hug him right now if I could.
“I’m so so sorry Laney.”he said letting me go. “I love you so much. Please say something Lane” Wait.Why is he sorry?What did he do?How do I even know him?Doesn’t he live in Australia?(That’s 34 questions now….not that I’m counting.)
“Okay,you don’t have to talk to me.”I.Can’t.Talk.” Just know that I love you.” I love you too,in that I'm a huge fan of your channel kind of way.
“She can’t talk.”Oh look,Dr.Obvious is back again.”Nice to see you again Calum.”
“What do you mean she can’t talk?” He means I am unable to speak, Genius. Ya know, I thought my favorite youtuber would be a bit smarter.
“I'm sure with time she will.We aren’t to sure how much she remembers,only she does.We were about to try and pinpoint how much she remembers,but we were waiting for you seeing as you know more about her personal life before the incident.”
I don’t know this kid.Well I know him like,I subscribed to his band’s videos of their covers. They’re cute and Australian,don’t judge me.
“Lane, you know who I am right?” How many blinks is the “I mean personally no but over the internet,I’m basically your stalker? I’ll just go with one for yes.
“One blink means yes. Two means no”The doctor said,causing a smile to go on Calum’s face.
"Do you remember the first time we went to England together?" I've been to England? I've only ever dreamed of being able to go there one day. I blinked twice.
"Do you remember our first date?" I don't even remember meeting you. I blinked twice and saw how sad he became.
“Do you eat bacon?”He asked. That is such a weird question to ask of course I eat bacon. I blinked once ,causing his smile to diminish. He smiled a bit and just waked out of my room.

this story is kind of all over the place but I swear it gets better and more organized. I used to have a story called amnesia and I am no longer able to log into that account so RIP to my favorite story Ive made. maybe Ill restart on this account?? Anway thats why this one is called literal amnesia and not just amnesia or I would get confuzzled
