Chapter 7 - Not till the second date
Augusta's POV.
We had been walking for about 20 minutes and I was somehow already tired. Maybe because I went on a long jog today or my lack of sleep, but I was a this close to passing out. We had been walking around this beautiful wooded area but Harry wouldn't tell me where were are going or where we even and I was hoping we wouldn't have to walk all day. It didn't help that the sky was slowly turning a dreary grey. We had been walking in silence with Harry leading the way. I decided I would try to start a casual conversation.
" Are you taking me to a murder shack?" I asked calmly, real casual Gus.
" That's not till the second date," He looked back at me with an goofy smile.
" This is a date?" I asked a little shocked.
" What did you think it was?" He asked looking a little puzzled.
" It seemed like a kidnapping to me," I replied smirking.
" And that's not till the third date," He replied showcasing his big dimples.
" What's on the fourth?" I asked.
" You're too young to know," he stated nonchalantly.
" EWWWWWW," I scoffed. He let out a throaty laugh We walked for a couple more minutes in awkward silence, which me ,being the social butterfly I was, decided to break once again.
" I'm tiredddd," I whined from behind him.
" Suck it up Auggie," he replied without turning to face me.
" Auggie?" I asked cocking an eyebrow.
" Yeah you know Augusta? Auggie? You know never mind it was a stupid idea," he said kind of hurt and I could tell he was blushing profusely.
" Hey it's ok, I like it," I said calmly.
" Oh uh ok," he said sounding almost happy? He was doing something to me. He had these major mood swings and I was sure he was maybe bipolar or something of that degree.
" Back to my aching legs how much longer?" I whined.
" I can carry you if you want," His green eyes locked with mine. The thought of him wrapping his strong arms around me and warming me up made me happy on so many levels, but alas I avoid cliche at all costs. I'm not sure what it is, but I find cliche relationships to be very obnoxious. I had never had a boyfriend or been out on a real date so I don't know where that was coming from but it was true. I hate cliche and having your crush carry you around was definitely cliche. Wait crush? Where the hell did that come from...Is he my crush? I mean I just met him and I like him but -
I was interrupted from my thoughts by Harry clearing his throat waiting for a response.
" I'm perfectly capable of walking by myself," I humphed and marched in front of him deciding to lead the way on the trail. I felt his eyes burning into to me.
" AND STOP LOOKING AT MY ASS," I whined. I heard him chuckle from behind me.

The good thing about reading all these fanfics is you learn which type of writing style you like and which you don't, so that helps you as a writer. Especially since you're still in high school! Don't give up just because you feel inferior to others, I once remember hearing someone say "if your the smartest in the room. You're in the wrong room." You can learn from these fellow writers, because some of them are so amazing I don't understand how they aren't published authors yet! You'll get there one day too! I know it, you have great potential and I can't wait to see where this story goes. Keep it up, I love it Xx
