Chapter 6- Little One
" Are we there yet...." I whine.
" In the five seconds since you last asked, no we have not arrived," He says glancing over at me.
" First you kidnap me and now you're being difficult," i laugh.
" Would you prefer me leaving you on the side of the road?" He asked raising his eyebrows.
" I would prefer you tell me the hell where we're going!" I exclaim.
" All in good time little one," he sighed.
" Little one?" I laughed. "You're less than a year older than me."
" yeah but you're like what 5'6?" he asked.
" 5'4," I murmur under my breathe but he heard and began laughing.
" I could still kick your ass though," I seethed. Which sent him into an even bigger fit of laughter.
" I'm August Rose, I'm 5 foot 4 inches of pure fury," I giggled.
" Oh and I'm a black belt in taekwondo," I say.
" liar," he said still laughing.
" Pull over," I state calmly.
" Why?" he asked looking in my direction.
" I'll show you a video of part of my test for my black belt," I say.
" This I gotta see," he laughs pulling to the curb.
I grab my phone unlock it and open my camera roll. I realize he was looking over my shoulder and I had embarrassing selfies I didn't want him to see. I turned to my side and began to scroll through my roll. I have been a black or over 2 years now so it's gonna take awhile. Finally I find the video and began to play it. He looks in awe as I do basic round kicks.
" If you think that's cool watch this," I laugh. I skip to a minute in where I'm doing my own form. I end by breaking a board with an easy spin knife hand. I look up at him and he looks shocked.
" fuck that was bad ass," he murmured.
" feeling cocky now tough guy?" I smirk.
" Augusta Rose," He whispered under his breath shaking his head. He turned on the car and pulled off the curb.
Harry's POV
We had spent the last 2 hours listening to music and just talking. It was now about 12:30 and we had arrived. I was still going to give her a tour of the town, but it looked cooler at night so I decided to take her to my favorite hiking trail first. I've never taken anyone to the trail with me before, besides my sister but she doesn't live with us anymore. The trail is kind of sentimental for me I guess. When my parents divorced I came here and walked all day to clear my mind. My own mom doesn't know about it. I don't know why I decided to bring August here but I'm excited to show her it. Even though I just met her I really like her. She seems to have it all together. She's cute, funny, and pretty bad ass. Usually cute and bad ass don't mix but she does it perfectly. She's cute because she's just tiny and innocent and says really adorable things with that amazing american accent, but she's bad ass and has confidence. I think I could see myself with her ,that is if she likes me but I think she does. Not to sound like a dick but most girls do. I'm not much of a player and I do genuinely care about girls when I'm dating them but i have never found a girl that genuinely cared about me and not the me they think I am. Most girls see " Harry Styles high school football star and pride of Holmes chapel" which I guess is nice but they don't know the real me or make an attempt to. I've had maybe 3 or 4 girlfriends but I always ended up ending things before they got too serious. But there's something about August that I just can't place. I usually go for hot girls I guess, but she is just too cute. I turn to my side to see her sleeping taking deep breathes and murmuring unintelligible words to herself. Awhhhh. She was curled up in a tight little ball in the passengers seat. She looked so peaceful occasionally furrowing her eyebrows before going back to normal. I kind of wish she was awake so I could look into her deep puppy dog eyes. I examined her face more carefully hoping she doesn't wake up to see me staring. She has a cute little button nose that had very faint freckles sprinkled across it. She had big rosy lips with the bottom slightly plumper that the top. I wonder what they taste like...Jesus Harry. My eyes roamed down her body. She was wearing a grey long sleeved shorts with loose fitting jeans. It was quite cold out and I didn't tell her we'd be walking around outside all day so I hope she doesn't get cold. The outfit she was wearing was quite modest but this morning I tried and mostly failed at not checking her out in those yoga pants. Is it weird I'm calling her adorable but checking out her bum? Yes yes it is Harry.
" H-harry," I see her eyes flutter open as her sweet voice whispers my name.
" Yes love?" I ask with a crooked smile. She could say literally anything and I wouldn't stop smiling.
" Where are we?" She sighs rubbing her eyes.
" You're about to find out," I smirk.

I actually am a black belt But I've been one since I was 13 and not 14 like August so HA TAKE THAT FICTITIOUS CHARACTER!

The good thing about reading all these fanfics is you learn which type of writing style you like and which you don't, so that helps you as a writer. Especially since you're still in high school! Don't give up just because you feel inferior to others, I once remember hearing someone say "if your the smartest in the room. You're in the wrong room." You can learn from these fellow writers, because some of them are so amazing I don't understand how they aren't published authors yet! You'll get there one day too! I know it, you have great potential and I can't wait to see where this story goes. Keep it up, I love it Xx
