One Thing

LONDON: Here we come!

Juliet's POV:

“Do you really have to go, honey?” my mom asked.
“Mom, stop worrying so much.” I said.
“How can I not worry?”
“My baby girl is going to live alone in a different continent.”
“Baby girl? Mom, I’m 19 and I’m….
“Juliet? You ready?” Sophia asked while entering our house.
I smiled and then turned back to mom.” See? I’m not alone. They are with me.”
“Okay, okay. Just be safe. All of you. Don’t fight between yourselves. Eat your meals on time. Don’t hang out with boys too much, Study…”
“Okay, mom. We can talk later. If we don’t go now, we’ll miss the flight.”
“Goodbye, aunty” They said their good byes and hugged my mom.
I also hugged my mom.” Take care, darling.”
“I will and when dad returns from work tell him that I said goodbye.”
“Juliet, our flight.” Lily reminded me.
“Let’s go.”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 30 minutes later:
We reached the airport. The plane is already there.
“Passengers of J-14 please take their seats.” Said the flight attendant.
We found our seat and sat. It was our first time to England. We were all really excited.
I went through the music and started playing Ellie Goulding’s Love Me Like Do. I don’t know when I fell asleep.
“Juliet, wake up! We are almost here.” Emma shook me from the seat beside mine.
“Passengers, we’ll land in 5 minutes.” I heard the announcement.
“What? We’re 5 minutes away from landing? Does that mean I slept the whole time?” I asked. I was still sleepy.
“You must be tired.” She said while smiling.
“Maybe.” I said quite embarrassingly.
We landed safely. We all were jet lagged. We threw our shoes and went to sleep in the room we saw first.
