Chapter 6

I kept going backwards. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy. “Sarah Fuller.” I replied with a smile. Now I turned around to walk away.
“I’ll see you later, Sarah Fuller!” he shouted and I couldn’t stop smiling.

“Everyone's here? Perfect, now follow me.” The lady who previously welcomed us at the entrance would lead this tour. The only thing I knew about her was that she’s called Mrs.Norris, and he seems very proper. It was looking like she had a stick taped to the back, as she marched forward with small steps. Although her steps reminded me of the military, she was still walking graceful.
You could tell that she’d been a dancer.

“I don’t know anyone here, do you?”
I surprisingly turned around and saw that the guy actually were talking to me. “You might think that I should be knowing someone since I’m not a freshmen… I went to the Academy of Music before, but now I’m here!” The guy continued to talk as if I had asked him about his life, his history and his background. With a smile I just kept listening fascinated as he babbled on without any breaks. “Well, I’m a senior, somehow I managed to end up in a group where I don't know anyone whatsoever. All of my other friends were put in the same group, except for me. But that’s just my luck I guess…” He ended his sentence with a shrug. I could tell that he was now thinking about something for a few seconds before he looks down at me with a big smile. “So now you know.”

I laughed out loud. Mrs.Norris turned around and looked in my direction, seemed a bit irritated. “Yeah, now I know.” I answer a bit quieter, as I took the opportunity to take a good look at him. The dark hair and the mischievous smile make him look really nice. His eyes was radiating warmth and I couldn’t help but smile. I have to say that I’m impressed with how easily he could talk to a stranger. Personally, I would stammer out something inaudible and then look down at the ground while my cheeks shifted to a very unattractive shade of red.

The guy puts his hands in his pockets. “My name is Louis Tomlinson.” Why does that phrase seem so familiar? Strange. “The first thing I may add… and probably the last. No chance I’ll baptize my future child to Louis Jr..” He adds with a small grin on his face.
“Nice to meet you Louis Tomlinson, the first and probably the last. My name is Sarah.” I held out my hand and he shook it immediately. “Does Sarah have a last name?” He asked while still holding my hand.
“Sarahs last name is Fuller.” I answered with a laugh.

He released my hand as he was now standing on his tiptoe to peer over the peloton with young adults. Mrs.Norris was now talking about a painting that apparently had a very great importance. Each painting, sculpture and carpet apparently had its very own history and significance that we would be taking a part of. According to Mrs.Norris it was very important to know, not only the class-room numbers, but also the schools history along with its furnishings.
“Oh, this tour sucks.” Louis whispered in my ear, and I couldn’t do anything else but agree with him.
“I know.”

He smiled as he bend down again to whisper something in my ear. “I really just want to see the music room.” Wait, what?
He looks down at me with a confused look. “Did I say something wrong?”
I cleared my throat and shook my head. It just felt so wrong knowing that not everyone in the groups is dancers. It wasn’t supposed to be like this. You'd simply walk up to anyone, ask what they loved more than anything in the world, and the respond would be dancing.
“No, you haven’t said anything wrong. I just… I’m a dancer so…” Damn. It really sound like I have a problem with him being one of the students from the Academy of Music, but they had actually come to our school and taken the places for a hundreds of other dancers!

Sure I’m a bit selfish thinking that way. If I'd been put their situation I’d be forever grateful that they’d welcome us students who had no longer a school to study in. But somehow it still felt so wrong.
“Oh, so that means we’re competitors, right?” Louis said while he interrupted my thoughts. He looks at me with an irritated look.
Are we? Competitors?

I opened my mouth, but didn’t know what to say. “I… I…”
His face lit up and he’s no longer irritated. “I’m just joking around!” He said while he lightly pushed me amicably. With great relief I answer his smile. Louis was okay. He was the closest I had to a friend here at the Royal Academy of Dan… Arts. We were not competitors. We were students at the same school, with different interests. That’s it.

“If we were competitors, it wouldn’t be fair… the fight would be too easy.” He said, looking sarcastically down on me.
“Yes, you’re right…” I look down at the ground, but can see that he’s looking at me with beholding eyes. “I would’ve crushed you immediately.” I pointed out with a twinkle in my eyes. Louis burst out laughing as I noticed that I just got myself a new friend.
