There were a lot of different bands that some of the music-students had made, and they all played different kind of songs as the other students danced, including me, Eleanor and Danielle. They played a couple of slow-songs, and in those cases we always had to step aside to let all the couples through.

During those times, I really felt lonely. I wished Harry asked me to dance with him, but I knew he weren’t going to.
Partly because I think he’s not even interested of me, and partly because he weren’t even here. Where were he and the other lads anyway? Eleanor said “wait and see”, haven’t I waited long enough?

I glanced towards Eleanor, and I saw that her gaze was stuck on the clock. “It should be their turn at any moment” I heard Danielle say. “What do you mean? Their turn?” I asked curiously. “Sarah, stop asking so many questions. I said that you’ll have to wait and see!” Eleanor said. Danielle chuckled as I sigh. Why were they told, but not me? It’s so unfair...

The current band that had played went off stage, as Rosie from the Prom Committee went on stage. She was holding a couple of pimped-up cards in her hand which I guess contained her lines.
“Well ladies and gentlemen, now it’s time for just another band to play a couple of songs! Let’s give them all a big applause, welcome up guys!”

All of the students went crazy and started to applause and cheer, including Eleanor and Danielle. Suddenly a couple of guys went on stage with microphones in their left hands.
But it wasn’t just any guys and it wasn’t just another band.
Because it was them. All five of them.

I’ve never thought about the idea of them singing, although I’ve always known that they were attending the music part.
Zayn lifted up his microphone towards his mouth. “Thank you all so much. So, we’ve decided to play you guys two songs tonight. We’ve written them by our selves, so we all hope you’ll enjoy them!”
“Whoa, wonder what his name is!” a girl next to me said to me. I didn’t give her a proper answer, I just chuckled. “His name is Zayn” I heard Danielle fill in. “Really?” the girl asked curiously.
“Really” Danielle confirmed.

My gaze was stuck on Harry during the whole introduction-thing. He glanced everywhere, even towards my direction sometimes. But it was very rarely.

The music started to play, and all of the students started to dance to the beat. It was really hard to stay still, so I started to move among them. I mean, they’re my friends and all, so why shouldn’t I?

Liam started to sing
It feels like we’ve been living in fast forward, another moment passing by.
The party’s ending but it’s now or never, nobody’s going home tonight.

Then Harry continued
Katy Perry’s on replay, she’s on replay.
DJ got the floor to shake, the floor to shake.
People going all the way, yeah all the way.
I’m still wide awake.

The students went crazy and started to cheer and some of them even screamed. I couldn’t blame them. I mean, I would’ve done the exact same thing, five really good-looking guys, and one of them just sang that.
But it felt like I had to stay calm since its Harry who sang those very words. I didn’t really feel like giving him that sort of confirmation, yet. Not that he’d notice it anyways…

The song kept on playing and we all kept on dancing until the very end, and we all gave them a big applause as we cheered when the music stopped. I got to say that they did a great job on setting the mood up. They all had really amazing voices, how come I’ve never heard them sing before?
“Wow, do you guys know them? I mean, since you knew Zayns name...” the girl said, as she emphasized Zayn, and she looked up to the roof with a dreamy look in her eyes.
I stated to chuckle as I answered her “Yes, we do. They’re a couple of friends of mine!”
The only friends of mine, to be honest.
She lit up and smiled big “Oh my God, can you introduce me to him?” I didn’t have time to respond as she continued, this time a little bit more shy. “Or, I mean… if you want to, of course.”
Oh, she thought that I perhaps had my eyes on him as well.

Well, the thing is that I don’t really know how to answer her, since I know how it ended last time, with him getting stalked and all. It was actually quite funny, now that I think of it. But I wouldn’t want him to go through that again, since he barely got rid of her.
But I should give her a chance. You never know, right?

“Yeah, I could define-“
“Well, as we said earlier, there’s going to be two songs played. This song is meant for a very special girl, and she’ll know who she is.” Niall interrupted me with his Irish accent. He actually sounded a bit nervous.
I noticed how some of the girls started to whisper to each other, as I knew that they were wishing that the song was dedicated to them, deep down inside each and one of the girls.
I shrugged towards the girl as I said “We’ll talk about that later, okay?” and she nodded in an agreement. “My name is Isabella by the way, but you can call me Bella” she said as I smiled towards her. “My name is Sarah.” I answered her quickly before I gave Eleanor and Danielle a questioning look, and they were both looking at each other with a smirk.
Oh, I got it. The song was dedicated to their girlfriends, duuh…

The music started to play once again, this time it was quite of a slower tempo.
No one made an attempt to move, as no one made an attempt to dance. It was a bit odd now that I think of it, since (like I said before) the students have danced to exactly every one and each song every band has played... Well, until now.
I was watching Harry carefully, as he was looking down to the floor.

Liam started to sing once again

And as I walk up to your door, my head turns to face the floor, because I can’t look you in the eyes and say:

Then Harry continued, still avoiding looking at the crowd. He also seemed pretty nervous.

And then, he looked me straight in the eyes.

And this time, he never let me out of sight.

The song kept playing, and he was looking straight into my eyes during the whole performance. I felt bewitched, like my whole body was glued to the ground, I couldn’t move. I was in shock.
I only once broke our eye-contact, and that was when I quickly glanced towards Eleanor and Danielle. They were both watching me carefully as they had a big grin on their faces.
And now I knew what he meant. This song is dedicated to me.

Instead of getting warm, happy and excited, I got a bit frustrated but also a bit angry. How did he dare to do this to me?!
The song ended and the crowd started to applause once again as the guys started to thank them. I quickly stormed out of the room and headed towards the exit-doors. My idea was to run, but I soon realized it was a bit too exhausting since I was wearing really high heels.

I suddenly felt a tight grip around my wrist, making me turn around and face him. Harry.
“What do you want?” I almost shouted a bit angry as he let my wrist go. I didn’t care if I was putting up with a scene and if people were watching us.
“Sarah, I’m sorry. I know I’ve been a total douche lately…” he said, as he looked down at the floor.
“So what..? You thought you could play one simple song, and I would’ve gone high over heels for you?” I said as I realized that I came out a bit too harsh.
“Well, I wouldn’t mind it now that you mentioned it” he said as he looked me in the eyes with a smirk, showing off his dimples. Oh, his beautiful dimples and his beautiful eyes. I can’t even remember when I saw him smile the last time. No, Sarah! Pull yourself together!

“I don’t get it. Why are you doing this to me? It feels like you’re always avoiding… avoiding…” I couldn’t finish the sentence, as I was getting warmer and warmer because of my anger.
“I’m always avoiding..? Spill it out.” He said with confidence in his voice. Wow, he’s really back to old Harry.
“You’re always avoiding me! We’ve been so close to a kiss twice, and both times ended with you ignoring me, or making me feel stupid thinking that you like me” I kept babbling without thinking about what I said or how it came out like. It just kind of… flew out of me.
The next thing I know, he crashed his lips onto mine.

At first I was in chock, but then I kissed back as I slowly wrapped my fingers around his curly soft hair, as we moved perfectly in sync. His arms were around my waist, pulling me closer. This time I was getting warmer, but because of a whole other reason. It felt rather like fireworks in my stomach, than butterflies.

This whole moment was perfect. I never wanted this to end, and I could tell that neither did he.
He broke off the kiss as he looked me deep into my eyes. “I’m sorry, Sarah” he said with a seductive and raspy voice.

I answered him with another kiss, just as passionate as the first one.
