“We are here with Luke Hemmings of 5 Seconds of Summer.” The correspondent said to Luke while they were sitting on a couch in the interview studio. “And you and your bandmates just finished up with your Sounds Live Feels Live tour about... a few months ago. How does that feel?”

“It's definitely sad.” Luke said. “I’m looking forward to having a break, but I know we’ll be out there again before we know it.”

“Do you see this being what you do for the rest of your life, or for just a few more years?”

“We’re not stopping anytime soon.” Luke said. “But I don’t know about the rest of my life. I want to get married and have kids some day.”

“Ooh, something for the fans to go crazy over! Luke Hemmings wants to have kids?”

“Yeah, I definitely want to have kids one day!”

5 Seconds of Summer broke up late 2017. Luke Hemmings went solo two years later and became a huge solo success. The other three did not meet the same success Luke did. Nevertheless, all three stayed very close friends.

In the beginning of 2017, Luke Hemmings got his girlfriend, Samantha Delia, who the Internet knew as Arzaylea, pregnant. Emmett Delia-Hemmings was born January 11, 2018. Almost immediately after, Luke and Arzaylea were no longer together.

Less than two years later, Samantha moved back to Canada where she was originally from, granting Luke full custody of Emmett with one week a year visitation rights. Emmett officially became Emmett Hemmings.

After a few years of going solo, Luke moved out of the performing industry and started his own recording agency which gave him a steady Monday-Friday job with steady hours. Other than that, his life was completely devoted to his son. Once in a while his job would bring him different places around the world for a month or two at a time, but he would bring his son with.

Luke Hemmings’s life became about Emmett Hemmings.
