I hurry to wake up Niall and Tessa.

“Ni, hey wake up” I shake him

“What’s wrong Emerson?” he asks one eye open

“It’s Harry”

“Oh Emmy it’s just a dream Harry is fine” he says

“No you idiot, Anne called…He woke up, Harry’s awake”

Just as I tell him the great news we both hear puking from the bathroom. Niall and I go to the door and Niall knocks.

“Tess babe you alright?” he asks

“Yes… No… I don’t know” she chokes

I’m comin in” Niall tells her

“NO!” she shouts “Get Emmy”

“I’m right here love, I’m coming in now” I tell her

Niall raises his brow at me and shrugs his shoulders.

“Just get dressed” I tell him

I go into the bathroom and see Tessa sitting on the floor her head hoovering over the bowl. I grab a giant clip from the sink and pin her hair back as she continues to vomit. I rub her back then go to the sink and get a cold wet washrag to put on her forehead.

“What’s that matter love? Did you eat something bad?” I ask when she sits back.

“That’s the thing I haven’t eaten anything at all today. I’ve felt sick to my stomach all day” she tells me.

“Maybe it’s the flu bug” I suggest.

Before I help her to her feet she has another bout of puking. I help her up as she washes her mouth out with mouthwash and throws cold water on her face. I open the bathroom door and Niall helps her to lie back down. Once she’s covered back up Niall kisses her good night.

“Where do you think you’re going?” she asks looking at Niall.

“Oh yeah Anne called… Harry’s awake babe; he’s finally back”

I put my pink jogging pants, hoodie and Ugg’s while Niall writes down the phone number to Shawn’s room. When we leave we stop by Shawn’s room first and fill him in on what’s happening. He says he’ll check on Tessa in a few hours so with Niall’s mind at ease about her we finally get on the elevator to leave. We climb into Niall’s white Range Rover since it’s too dark to walk.

“Do you think he’ll remember me?” I ask Niall before we go into the hospital. “If he doesn’t then we’ll slap him ‘round til he does” Niall smiles “I’m sure he will be just fine” Niall grabs my hand as we walk into the elevator.

“Ugh why are you here?... Oh Niall hey” Gemma sneers before noticing Niall.

“She’s here because your mum called her” Niall snaps at her not even saying hello.

We go to Harry’s room and catch Anne as she’s coming out. She turns to see us and greets us both with tight embraces and a warm smile. It’s great to see that smile again after the long face she had been wearing for weeks.

“How is he?” I ask

“He’s great. Vitals are good but he will have more tests done in the morning. The doctor is keeping him on oxygen but the ventilator has been removed and he’s talking” Anne tells us.
“Go ahead and see him”

As Anne walks away Niall and I stand there and look at each other with stupid grins on our faces.

“You go in first” I nudge him toward the door.

Niall goes in as I follow closely behind him.

“Oi mate long time no see” I hear him say happily.

“Ello lad, gave us all a scare you did” Niall laughs.

I swallow my pride and walk around Niall, when I look up I see those beautiful green orbs staring back at me full of life. I hear Harry drawl in a breath as he sees me for the first time in almost 2 ½ months.

“Emerson” he whispers

“Yes, oh my god yes.. baby it’s me” I cry
