Pretty Girls Hide Pain So Deep Inside

6pm. 5 Seconds of Summer just finished their soundcheck. They were in Smoothie King Center's parking lot, alongside the members of Midnight Sinning Session. They were all wearing sweatpants and shorts, ready to play... The only thing they were missing was a football and a playing field.

- I think we may have overlooked a few things. - Blue said.

- You think?

- Why don't you guys go find something to mark the field with and we'll go find a ball. - Hope told the 5SOS boys.

The four boys nodded and started the search.

- Excuse me, do you maybe have a football? - Hope and her bandmates were apporaching some fans that were in the parking lot.

- Oh my god! - A girl screamed when she realized who was talking to her. - I'm sorry, I just... I'm a huge fan.

Hope chuckled slightly. - What's your name?

- Emily. - The girl breathed out.

- I love that name. It's nice to meet you, Emily. - Hope had a huge smile on her face, so did the girl. - Are you coming to the show?

- Yes! I've been waiting for this for months. - Emily spoke excitedly.

- I hope you enjoy the show... There might be a little surprise in it, but don't tell anyone I told you. - Hope said and winked at her.

Emily chuckled. - Would it be okay if we took a picture?

- Yeah, of course.

Hope stood next to the girl and posed for a selfie. It's hard to tell who had a bigger smile, the girl meeting her idol or the girl living her dream.

- So do you by any chance have a football, we want to play one game before the show? - Hope asked Emily after they took the picture.

- I think my brother actually left his football in the car, let me check. - Emily said, the smile still not leaving her face.

- I got the ball. - Hope told the guys after rejoining them.

Emily and over a dozen other fans were standing around the chalk marked field in the middle of the parking lot.

King took of his shirt, exposing his tattoos and his perfect body. All of a sudden the, mostly, quiet parking lot was now filled with teenage girls' screaming and asking King to marry them. The main badass of Midnight Sinning Session flashed them a smile before throwing his shirt to them, causing even more screams to fill the parking lot.

- Seriously? - Ashton asked him.

- What? I'm sorry for working out. - King joked.

Everyone laughed.

- Babe? - Hope called out to Calum.

- Yeah?

- You should go to the gym more often. - Hope said.

- You're mean. - Calum pretended he was mad, but he couldn't hold back a smile.

- Oh, is Tommy mad? - Hope asked before laughing again.

- Yes. - Calum said and pouted.

Hope came closer to him and gave him a quick peck on the lips.

- Better? - She asked him and started walking away, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her back to him.

He bit his bottom lip before closing the distance between them and kissing her passionately.

- Wait, there's still one more thing we didn't think about. - Ashton said.

- What? - Jesse asked.

- There's four of us and five of you. - He told them.

- Guys, yo, guys! - Cody was trying to get Hope and Calum's attention.

After a few more times it finally worked and the couple broke apart their kiss.

- Shit, you're right. - Luke said.

- So what now? - King asked.

- I have an idea. - Hope said.

The eight boys all looked at her, but she wasn't looking at them anymore.

- Hey, can anyone here play soccer? - Hope asked the fans standing on the sidelines.

They all started talking excitedly, but no one said yes. Hope looked back at the boys.

- I'm out of ideas. - She told them and the boys laughed.

- Hey! - A female voice drowned out the others.

The two bands turned around and look for the source.

- Hi. - Noticing all eyes on her, a short blonde spoke again with her cheeks flushed.

The girl didn't look older then fifteen.

- My dad used to play. - She said, a little embarassed.

All eyes were now on the man next to the girl. He seemed to be in his 40s, tall and pretty fit for his age.

- Sir, would you be willing to help us out? - Hope politely asked the man.

The man looked down at his daughter, who was looking at him with puppy eyes.

- Please. - She begged him, extending the letter 'e'.

The man breathed out in surrender. - Alright, how can I say no to that.

- Thank you. - His daugther told him.

The man smiled at his daughter and joined the bands on the field.

- Thank you so much sir. - Hope said.

- Anything for my daughter. - The man smiled and glanced back at his daughter before speaking.

Hope slightly turned around to look at Ashton. He was already looking at her. It wasn't the first time they had that look on their faces. Ashton tried his best to smile at his baby sister, but he couldn't, so the next best thing was to change the topic.

- You're gonna be playing for our team. - Ashton said and pointed at himself and his teammates.

- What's your daughter's name? - Hope asked the man before he had a chance to say anything else.

For some reason Hope couldn't, wouldn't change the subject.

- Angela. - The man said, looking back at his daughter, a huge smile was spread across her face.

Hope smiled weakly at his words.

- She's a huge fan of all of you, but she's likes you the most. - The man said, looking at Hope for the last part.

- Me? Why?
