Pretty Girls Hide Pain So Deep Inside

- Hope! - Ashton was the first one to approach them.

As much as Hope tried, she couldn't keep her eyes off of Calum and Nikki. Calum was frozen, he was barely breathing, let alone moving.

- You found her. - Ashton told Luke.

- Actually... - Before Luke had a chance to continue, Ashton had Hope wraped in a tight embrace.

Luke didn't say anything else.

- I missed you. - Ashton told her.

Hope snapped out of her daze. Her eyes were now tightly shut while she was clinging onto Ashton.

- I missed you too. - She said.

- We missed her too, you know? - Blue spoke, when he saw that Ashton wasn't going to let go of Hope anytime soon.

Ashton chuckled. They let go of each other.

Standing in front of Hope were Blue, Romeo and Michael, the only ones still seated were Calum and Nikki.

Nikki was clinging onto Calum, but his eyes couldn't leave Hope.

After exchanging hugs with her, the guys led Hope to the living room. They all seemed to have slowed down when they remembered Calum and Nikki were there.

- Hope, um... This is... - Michael began to speak, but Nikki cut him off.

- I'm Calum's girlfriend, Nikki. - She said with a smile plastered on her face.

Hope collected herself.

- I'm Calum's ex-fiancee, Hope. - She smiled back.

- Nice to meet you. - Nikki extended her hand to Hope.

- You too. - They shook hands.

- How 'bout we order some pizza? - Romeo changed the subject, shooing the uncomfortable silence away.

The pizza arrived and they were all seated in the living room eating and watching a movie.

Hope was sitting in-between Blue and Ashton.

No one has mentioned the previous events that made Hope leave, no one until now.

- You okay? - Ashton whispered to Hope.

- Yeah, I'm great. - Hope faked a smile.

- Come on, I know you better than that. - He told her. - You know, we're gonna have to talk about everything eventually.

- Yeah, I know...but not in front of them. - She looked at Calum and Nikki.

- Calum and... You were engaged to him, he deserves to know. - Ashton whispered.

- But she doesn't. - She said.

Hope was trying to stop the tears from filling her eyes.

- I know. Look, she's... It's complicated. - Ashton said.

Hope got up from the couch and hurriedly went upstairs. Everyone's eyes were following her as she walked.

Ashton went after her.

Hope was out on the balcony, standing in front of the infinity pool.

- Hope, tell me what's going on. What happened? Please... - Ashton pleaded.

- You're gonna hate me when you find out...even more that you do now. - She said, her cheeks stained with tears.

- Hope, you're my sister, I could never hate you. Now tell me what happened so we can just...fix everything. - He said sincerely. - Everything's been fucked up since you left, and I hate that, but not you...never you.

- I cheated on Calum and I...I got pregnant. - She said trough tears.

- Yeah, I know that...

- No, you don't. It wasn't...it wasn't just a one time thing... It's been going on for months. I-I don't know how it happened it just did and I... I love him, but I still love Calum as well and I... I don't know what to do.

- Hope, who do you love? Who is the other guy? - He asked her softly.

Hope looked at him and pinned her bottom lip with her teeth.

- It's Luke.

- Wha...what? - Ashton started walking backwards.

- I told you you'd hate me.

- Hey, what's going on? - Luke got out on the balcony and joined them.

- You son of a bitch! - Ashton grabbed him by his shirt.

- Ashton, stop!

- Ash... - Luke said.

- Don't call me that. - Ashton pushed him away.

Ashton clenched his fist and with all the strenght in his body punched Luke in the face making him bleed. He backed away. Without even a glance back at them, Ashton stormed off.

- Are you okay? - Hope quietly asked Luke.

- What the hell happened? - Luke asked Hope.

- I told him the truth. - She said.

- What happened to it being my call? - He asked.

Hope didn't say anything.

- I-I'm sorry... - Luke breathed out.

He approached her and hugged her tightly. Hope was wetting his shirt, but he wasn't letting go of her.

- It's okay... - He kissed the top of her head. - It's okay...
