Pretty Girls Hide Pain So Deep Inside

- Hope? - King called out to her once again.

- Yeah?

- Are you sure about this? - He asked her.

- I'm sure. - She said. - I'll miss you.

- I'll miss you too. - He approached her and hugged her tightly. - But this isn't goodbye... And I expect to hear from you regularly.

He released her.

- Got it? - He asked her.

She nodded. She gave him one last smile and left.

- What the hell just happened?

- Where's Hope?

Once he returned to the bus, King was bombarded with questions.

- She's gone. - He said quietly.

- What? Where did she go? - Jesse's question was the first one he heard.

- I don't know... She just said she can't stay here anymore. - King's eyes were searching for Calum, but he wasn't there. - Where's Calum?

- He locked himself in the bathroom. - Luke told him.

- This is so fucked up. - Blue said. - What are we gonna do?

- We have to get Hope back. - Jesse said.

- No. - Ashton joined the conversation.

- No? - Luke didn't believe it. - That's your fucking sister! We need to get her back.

It wasn't like Luke to blow up like this.

- Were you not listening? Someone paid her to get close to us, she doesn't actually give a fuck! - Ashton replied.

- I'm not justifying what she did, but that was months ago, she wouldn't've come back if she didn't actually care. - Romeo said.

- Either way, she made her choice. No one forced her to leave. - Ashton said, he was angry.

The boys weren't themselves tonight.

- So what now? You're just gonna forget about her existence? - Luke asked him.

Ashton stayed silent.

- What about Calum, huh? - Luke continued. - Hope's his fiancee.

- Who cheated on him! And whom he cheated on as well. - Ashton said, his voice was raised he himself was choleric.

- What? - Jesse asked.

- When the hell did he cheat on her? - Romeo asked.

- Today. - Michael quietly said.

The boys were too into their argument to realize Calum got out of the bathroom and was listening to them.

He felt the wet, hot tears fill up his eyes, his throat closed tight and each word pitched higher than the last in an effort to squeak out the words that were bottle up inside him. Finally the tears spilt over and flowed down his face like a river escaping a dam. He broke down entirely. He collapsed on the floor, dejected, swollen with emotions.

The boys were silenced by his cry for help.

- What the hell did I do? - Calum spoke, once he calmed down a little.

The guys weren't sure which event he was referring to.

- I love her... I still love her, and I...I pushed her away. - Calum's voice was full of regret.

- You don't care about what she did? - Michael asked him.

- I... I didn't even talk to her, I just... I don't care. I love her. No matter what she does. - He told him.

- Do you now think we should get her back? - Luke asked Ashton.

He didn't answer.

- I'm calling her. - Romeo said.

Hope's phone started blowing up with calls and texts, but it was too late.

With a hoodie and sunglasses on as disguise, Hope was at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport purchasing a one way ticket to a place far away.

The only thing she left them with was a text to King's phone saying ''Goodbye''.

''5 Seconds of Summer's tour is to be cancelled due to unknown reasons.''
