Pretty Girls Hide Pain So Deep Inside

- Hey. - The unbearable silence that overtook the room was interupted by their driver. - If you want to make it to tonight's show we should be heading out right about now.

Michael, King and Ashton all exchanged looks, while Calum had his head in his hands.

- We can't leave. Hope... - King began speaking.

- Yeah, I know. - Ashton cut him off. - We'll have to cancel the show.

- People aren't gonna be happy. - Michael commented.

- We don't have a choice, we're not leaving without Hope. - Ashton said, with more attitude than he intended.

Calum started laughing, but not the kind of laugh that made his eyes crinkle and his stomach hurt. Something's gotten into him, he was a different person.

Trying to ignore Calum's outburst, the boys continued their conversation.

- We should call... - Michael cut Ashton off.

- Yeah, I'll go. - Michael said and left the bus, along with their driver.

Not long after Michael left, Van Halen's ''Hot for Teacher'' started playing. King's phone was ringing. No wonder that was his ringtone, that is after all a song with one of the best drum solos. But unlike any other time, right now that didn't matter to King. He looked at the called ID.

- It's Luke. - He said right before answering.

Calum stopped laughing.

- Did you find her? - That was the first thing King said to Luke after picking up.

Luke was on speaker.

- Um... No. I...we have no idea where she could be. - Luke said. - We looked every place we could think of...

- We'll keep looking, but... - Romeo started talking, but Ashton cut him off.

- No need.

- What? - The guys on the other end of the line were confused.

- She's here. - King said shortly.

There she was, Hope, standing right before them. Right before Calum. She was obviously crying, her eyes were red and her cheeks puffy. But she tired to act as if that wasn't true.

- Hey. - She said quietly.

Calum and Hope haven't looked at each other since she walked in.

Calum snickered.

Before Hope had a chance to say anything else King pulled her into a tight embrace.

- Where the hell were you? - He asked her.

Everyone's favorite new hardbody is really a big softie, even though he tries really hard to hide it.

- I... I just needed to... Get away. - She mumbled quietly into his shoulder.

When King finally released her, Hope locked eyes with Calum. His eyes started filling with tears. She looked away.

- Hello? King, what's going on? - Blue's confusion was heard trough the phone.

- Hope's back. - King answered.

- I'm not staying. - She said.

- What? - Ashton finally spoke.

- I...just came to get my things. I'm leaving. - She said, emotionless.

- What? Where?

Calum remained quiet.

- I just... I've fucked up way too many things for you guys, I can't stay... I'm sorry. - She said the last sentance while looking at Calum.

- Oh, you're sorry? - Calum spoke, his voice was raised.

- Yes. I'm sorry. - Hope repeated.

- Sorry for what exactly? - Calum got up. - For sleeping with some guy and cheating on your fiance or for getting pregnant and caught?

She didn't answer.

Calum chuckled. - Figures.

- Calum... - King tried to speak but Calum shushed him.

- Here's a thought. - He said. - Since everyone keeps defending you and your actions how 'bout we tell them the truth and see what they'll think about you then.

Ashton and King, and everyone on the other line who was still listening was conufsed, but Hope knew exactly what he was talking about.

- What do you say, love? You ready for them to meet the real you?
