"That's my phone? Who are you call- Madisyn!"

I sit in the plane, tears still stinging my eyes, and my lips still tingling from Michael's kiss. My last kiss.

"Madisyn, talk to me." She rests her hand on top of mine. I pull my hand away, sitting as far away from her as possible. "Madisyn!" She slightly raises her voice.

"I don't want to talk." I mumble, staring out the window. Maria... What if she doesn't live... And what if I never find Michael again. I continue ignoring my mother's pleads to get me to talk to her, and just wonder. What would it be like to be with Michael right now, live back at home, with normal lives, and normal family.

"Madisyn Jade Beer!" My mother growls. I flick my head towards her.

"What do you want?" I scoff, glaring straight into her eyes.

"I'm doing this for you."

"No, you're doing it for you. I'm the only person who is there for you, and if I went away, you'd be broken! Ever since dad died, you haven't bee the same."

I storm into my small room, seeing Eliot crashed out on my matress. I smile, silently closing the door, and put my bag down.

"Eliot, Eliot wake up." I gently shake his shoulder, as he slowly opens his eyes.

"Madisyn!" He sat up, squeezing his short arms around my torso. "Madi, I missed you so much!"

"I have so many adventurous stories to tell you, and my friends, and-"

"Madi, calm it, I'm still tired, and need to sleep." He smiled, laying back down, I lay down next to him, as he shoved his face into my stomach. And that was the first time I finally felt like I had a reason to be alive...
