I lay awake. My banged up latop I got from the second hand store laid besides me. Facebook was open and as usual my news feed was spammed with news about me. Even though I don't recall ever doing those things. "Lette? Can I ask you something?" My foster sister Cher asked. "Sure come in." I sit up and move my laptop so there's room for her to sit on it. Out of everyone I know she's the kindest. My proctor parents look down at me like I'm a stay dog their too scared to touch because they think I'll give them dieses. "I promised I believe you but if you aren't doing all these things then who is?" She turns her expensive new iPhone 5 towards me and another story on 'me' was reported. This time there was a picture of 'me' surrounded by 3 girls I've never seen in my life. The 4 girls were in a club, one was chugging a bottle of Vodka while the other 3 were leaning against the wall, drunk. But 2 things in the picture caught my attention. 1) Under the club sign they were standing in front of said 'Best Club in all of London' and 2) The girl who looked like me had the name Colette written on the back of her iPhone. "Cher this can't be me. Look at what it says under the club sign!" She turned the phone back towards but then turned it back. "But it says Colette on the phone case. It's only missing the 'Ni' to spell out your name, Nicolette." She pouts and I'm not sure what to say so I look back at my facebook and it hits me. Almost everyone has a Facebook! "Here look at this." I say pulling my laptop onto my lap and scooting over so Cher can sit by me and see the screen. I open up Google and search up 'Colette in England' and 4 sites pulled up. 1 was a Facebook Profile. Another was a Twitter account. The third was a Youtube Account and the last was an Intagram. I clicked on the Facebook account my face appeared before me. But the face was prettier. Light make up was appiled. The girl's hair styled to perfection. Cher gasped while I clicked on the 'About' tab and a list of family popped up. 'Anne Cox - Mother. Gemma Styles - Sister. Harry Styles - Brother.' Cher gasped again before taking the mouse and clicking on Harry's profile. A picture of a curly haired boy with green eyes stared back at us. "Isn't you last name Styles?" Cher asked. I nodded and she took the laptop from me. She signed into her account and typed in 'Styles' and only 4 names popped up. Gemma Styles, Harry Styles, someone named Lisa May HasStyle and me, Nicolette Styles. "Is it crazy to believe?" She asked and I shook my head. "The girl looks like me, her family has my last name, I think I have a family!" Cher screams and hugs me. And when we pull away there's tears on her face. "You're 19 so you can move out. And you both agree we've found your family. So what's stopping you? We both know you have the money to leave!" I nod my head and we hug again. That's it I'm leaving! Cher's mom starts calling her from the kitchen and she leaves. I sign back into my account and I message Colette.
Message:
Is it crazy to believe we might be related? Sisters even? Are you adopted? Sorry to be sudden but it's really important for me to know. I'll send you a picture.



After pressing send I quickly get a message back.
Omg yes I'm totally Adopted! And I totally think we are! I'll send you a picture too

Once I get the pictures I know for sure we have to be related! I send her another message
We should meet somewhere! But I live in Utah. :/

She replied: My family is moving to LA because my brother and his friends are singers. Can you meet me there?


Me: Just let me know when !
Colette: We leave tomorrow. Maybe Friday?
Me: For sure!
Colette: I'll keep you updated.

I think I just found my family.
