When I open my eyes Harry is hovering above me. I scream and he rolls over with laughter. "What?!" I scream and he finally contains himself. "Wake up. We're meeting Gemma's finacee today." He says pulling on my blankets. "I already know who he is." I groan and cover my head. "Hey what happened last night? I know you're not Colette but for a second I thought you were. Why were you fighting with my sister?" He asks, pulling the pillow off my head. "Her finacee is......nevermind just get out so I can get ready." I say and he nods then leaves. I get up and hear a car door slam. I go to the bottom level of my room and look out the window. And there he is, getting out of his car. He's Gemma's finacee. Mark.



I rush downstairs and stand by the door. A few seconds the door bell rings and I open the door.



"Hi Mark." I say and confusion crosses his face features. "I knew this house looked familiar. "Is Gemma home?" He asks and I nod. "Uh come in." I invite him in and he looks around, nodding. "So I guess you and Gemma are sisters?" He asks and I nod. "And I guess you're getting married to her soon." I say and when he nods I fake a smile.



"Mark?" Harry comes down the stairs and now it's his turn to be confused. "You weren't kidding when you said you knew him Colette. You're Gemma's finacee?" Harry says and Mark nods. They do that thing guys do when they pull each other into a hug and pat their backs. When they pull apart I see Gemma smirking at me from the staircase."Mark!" She screams and she rushes to hug him. She wraps her arms tightly around his neck and he wraps his arms around her waist. "Colette meet my fiancee, Mark. Mark Livings." She says when they pull apart and I fake another smile. When Harry and Mark start talking I glare at Gemma and she glares back. Then I walk out of the house I head towards the barn/Arcade in the back yard Anne had made before we moved in.




A few minutes later I'm playing somekind of racing game when I hear the barn door open. I stand up and look around. "Hello?" I look around somemore and see blonde hair poking out from around the corner. "What're you doing Niall?" I said and when I get closer it's not Niall but Ava. "What're you doing Ava?" I ask and she sighs then stands up. "Is that guy the one you went out on a date with?" She says and I nod. "Then why is he marrying your sister?!" She screams and I shrug. I look out the window and see Mark walking towards the barn. "Omg hide!" I scream and Ava hides. "Colette?" He asks when he opens the door. His head peers into the barn and he sees me sitting on the Air Hockey Table. "Yes?" I ask and he closes the door before walking towards me. Ava is sitting under the table but my dangling legs block her. "Are you okay?" He asks when he stops in front of me. "No I have a problem." I say sighing. "What's the problem?" He steps closer. "You're unusual. That's all." I say and he looks confused again. "What's unusual?" He asks, taking one step back. "I actually like you. That's what's unusual." I say and he smiles.



"Well I hope you do." He says.



"Then why are you marrying my sister?" I ask and he shrugs. "Because I met her first." Is all he says. "But you took me out on a date." He meets my eyes but his gaze quickly drops. He walks towards me. And slowly leans in and kisses me.



"Yes I took you out on a date. And I kissed you. But I'm marrying your sister." He says when he pulls away. I sigh and look down. Not moving until I hear the sound of the barn door opening and then closing but it never comes. Instead I hear Mark's footsteps towards me, lifting my chin and kissing me again. This kiss is the most intense kiss we've ever shared.



"But just know if you were older and I met you first I'd be marrying you." He says then he leaves. "Ava?" I call and I hear her moving under the table. She stands in front of me and dusts herself off. "What do I do?" I ask and rest my head on her shoulder. "Get him back?" She says and I shake my head and look up at her. "He's marrying Gemma." I say. "Do you love him?" She asks and I nod quickly. "I love him. But he's marrying Gemma." I admit and she laughs. "Baby girl when you love someone, it's worth fighting for no matter what the odds." she says then walks away. Leaving me alone in the barn.
