SARA'S POINT OF VIEW---

So. I'm sitting in my art class, right? I'm next to Luke, acting perfectly me, and then someone enters the room and my thoughts stop. I-Is that...?

"Hey! You're Emyli I assume?" My art teacher waves, beaming. My eyes widen. Emyli?

"Yep." The girl smiles. She's got purple hair with mine and Callie's style, pretty bright eyes, and fucking hot piercings. She pulls up a chair in front of the most popular girl in school, and winks at her, chewing on gum. Damn.

"Who's that?" Luke whispers to me.

"Emyli Parker." I say in awe, staring over at her.

"And.. That is..?" I glance at Luke, and chuckle. "What?"

The bell rings, and I get up. "You'll see."

CALLIE'S POINT OF VIEW---

It's been about three weeks since I moved in with Calum. Jonathan still doesn't know I'm living next door, but CPS knows. Joy explained every little detail to them, way more than I'd liked them to know, but they understood after a LOT of convincing. Calum and I are still strictly friends. He's cool with it now. The first week he was a little 'ehh' about it and everything, but it's working now, he's cool.

Anyway so Joy is finally letting me go back to school. The principal let me back in school due to the circumstances, but if I miss another day he'll expel me. Sigh.

Now I'm walking into school, and everyone's looking at me differently. They don't look scared of me, or like I could punch them at any second. This is really weird. Did someone find out and tell everyone what had happened to me? Was this just aftershock from how I was before I ran away? What the hell is going on? All of my friends are pretty feared, but I am the real deal here.

"You're Callie Fire, right?" A freshman asks me. Why are they talking to me now?

"Uh, yeah."

"Sara Jones wanted me to tell you something." The little freshman girl says.

"Alright, what?" We hardly tell other students to tell each other what's happening. It's like an immediate thing someone needs to know. Usually we don't do it because well. We aren't interested in people besides each other.

"She said and I quote, Emyli Parker is back." She says. My eyes widen and I walk away. So that's what this is about. Emyli.. Wow. I haven't heard that name in a really long time. I almost forgot about her. Not sure how I could've, but I nearly did.

I'd been walking about for a couple minutes, and by then my mind tried convincing me she isn't really here and Sara was just joking. But no, headed straight for me, coming through the path other kids make for me- Emyli Parker. We're head to head, and everyone's watching us.

"Callie."

"Emyli." I glance up. "Nice hair."

"Nice face." She snaps.

"You're one to talk." I roll my eyes.

"I've been looking forward to seeing you again." She looks me up and down. "You haven't changed."

"Unfortunately, neither have you." I smile. She just smiles back.

"Oh, I love your wit." She sighs.

"Why is everyone here suddenly acting like-"

"You're one of them?" She raises her eyebrows, and looks around. "I don't know babe, it looks like I've taken your place here." She smiles. I hate her calling me 'babe'. She calls everyone babe.

"Sweetie, no one replaces me. You know that." I glare.

"Things change." She shrugs, still looking me up and down. I'm half flattered and half want to slap her in the face.

"Things do change." I smile. "But not this. I refuse for you to replace me." I flip my hair and strut past her.

EMYLI'S POINT OF VIEW

I bite my lip, watching her walk away. God she's hot.
