*Caitlyn’s POV*

I sighed from the EMT truck. So many agents came over to me, asking for every detail possible about what happened. I gave them professional answers, making sure to be honest about everything. They hated to see Louis go, but they had no choice. This kind of situation was to be secret to the public and the last thing we needed was for Louis’s story to seep out.

“Here.” I heard Morgan speak to me. I looked up, seeing him holding out a file with documents inside. “Given the situation, I figured I’d better wait to give this to you.”

I took the file and opened its contents. The first thing I saw was a copy of a birth certificate. “What…?” I started as I looked at it.

“You wanted to know who you truly were. This was you before you before you were taken in by the two agents. Everything in that file shows the first two years of your life, along with information about your real birthparents.”

I stared at the certificate. Morgan left me alone then. Audrey Eva Jepson. So that was my real name. Audrey. Somehow the name put a warm sensation through my heart. I continued through the files briefly looking over them. After what seemed like I read over myself five times, I moved onto my parents. I got a brief summary of my real parents. There were even pictures of me as a baby with my mother and father.

I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I couldn’t believe it. Five years after I’ve ‘died’, they had another child. I had a younger brother named similarly to me. Adrian Eli Jepson. So I had a blood-bounded sibling. I felt myself sniff as I continued to read through, allowing the information to imprint into my brain. I even had their address. “Caitlyn.” I heard. I looked up, seeing Morgan in front of me again, only with another man. I recognized him as part of the head officials for the CIA.

I swallowed as I put the file aside. “I saw the work you did today. Agent Carl and Landon may have saw you as a failure when it came to becoming a CIA agent, but I see potential.” The agent said. “I want to make you an offer. I’ll offer you a new identity, not as something that relates to CIA property, but as your own character. I can bring back your old identity if you’d like, but I want you to become one of my agents.”

“An agent?” I asked. I looked away for a moment. “I don’t think I would want that.”

“Don’t worry.” He spoke up again. “I’ll only be bringing you in to do the mission you were brought in to do in the first place.”

I blinked. Mission? I knew my sole purpose in being raised by the CIA in the first place was to protect a boy, but I failed in knowing who. “What’s that?”

“To protect the boy.” He answered with a professional smile.

“Yeah, I know that, but who?” I asked, slightly impatient to know.

“Louis Tomlinson.” Morgan answered this time. “The boy you’ve been protecting this whole time. Seeing how you saved his life today, you have the specialty of protecting him.”

“I thought his troubles were over.” I said, looking at the police cars still lying about.

“Oh, sweetheart. This war isn’t over.” The head agent said. “Agent Carl and Agent Landon may be dead, but there’s still one other soul we are slightly concerned about.”

I raised an eye at Morgan, wondering.

“Their daughter. Michelle.” Morgan said. “She’s our main threat for Louis now. It’ll be your job to make sure she doesn’t kill him.”

“So what do you say?” The head agent asked. “Are you up for the job?”

I pondered. I already knew the answer before it was asked. If it involved protecting Louis, the CIA would make my life easier. I looked over at the file next to me. I felt a nod coming on. “Yeah, I’ll do it. I want a new identity though, I don’t want my old one. Audrey was thought dead years ago, I don’t want to bring her up again. So I’ll stick with something new.”

The men nodded, agreeing. “Also,” I said as I picked up the file. “I want to see them. My true parents. Audrey may have died to them, but no parent deserves to believe their child is truly dead.”

“It may cause problems.” Morgan said to me.

I shook my head at him. “Don’t worry. I already know what I will do. If they truly understand, they won’t cause any ruckus.”

“Alright. We’ll get everything ready for you.” The head agent said.

I nodded. The head agent left Morgan and I alone. “Listen…”

I looked up, ready for him to continue. “I don’t know how long it’ll be until Michelle makes her move, but you have to keep an eye out for her.”

I already knew. “I know. She’s grown up doing nothing but trying to impress her parents. Now that she thought she was getting somewhere, they were taken away. She’ll be out for revenge.”

“I trust you’ll keep him safe.”

Louis. I felt a small smile come onto my face. It seems he’ll be getting what he wanted all along. Even so, I knew I couldn’t stay too close. With Michelle lingering around, it was possible he may be targeted again. I would look after myself, along with him.

“Oh, can you do me a few favors?” I asked.

“What’s that?”

If I wanted to be close to him, there was nothing to it, I had to be close. Morgan kept nodding as he listened. He offered a small smile at the end. “Don’t worry, I’ll prepare everything so you can have your departure by tomorrow night with them. With a new identity, we may have to give you a new look too.”

I shrugged. I didn’t mind.

OKAY! I'm a little mad at myself -_- and word. I seriously hate word right now. I forgot a chapter right before Cat goes to save Louis. It's a little entertaining, but slightly important. The chapter is called 'Smoke Bombs and iPhones' if you want to read it. Sorry I didn't catch it earlier! So so so so sorry.

Okay, moving on from that. Thank you for the support, highly appreiciated :) This chapter does hint a sequel that i will be writing for this story. It'll be called 'Look After You' :]! Louis Tomlinson actually does a cover for the Fray's Look After You if you want to listen to it. I think it'll be a good feel for the story that I'm going to write.

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do in it, but I do know I will be having more moments between Cat and Louis haha Look forward to it! And i'm seriously sorry about that chapter x
