What Makes You Beautiful

I see us in the light upon a hill

The story of my life, I take her home
I drive all night to keep her warm and time is frozen
The story of my life, I give her hope
I spend her love until she's broke inside,
The story of my life
‘Story Of My Life’ – One Direction

2 years later

She stared into a pair of green eyes that looked so much like Harry’s. She was so happy that her daughter had inherited her father’s eyes, as they were such a beautiful colour. Her hair was short and was the same colour as Harry’s but was wavy like Bella’s. She was a beautiful child. Bella had felt a new love and devotion when her daughter came into the world on July 31st, 2016. Bella loved her more than anything in the world (apart from Harry, of course) and would do anything for her.

Luna Joanne Styles was about 2-and-a-half months away from turning two. She could walk but enjoyed running more. She could identify objects and was obsessed with singing One Direction songs. She didn’t know all the words and could only sing the simple things like “what”, “beautiful”, “story”, “life”, “you”, “and”, “I”, “one” and “thing”. It was possibly the most adorable thing Bella had ever seen in her entire life. Luna could easily pick out when her father was singing and would shout “Daddy!” every time Harry had a solo. She loved Tommo Bear and Tommo Bear loved her. He was so good with Luna and loved to lick all over her face, which she giggled at. Her laugh was so high-pitched like a fairy and she was just as dainty as one. Every time Bella looked at her, she thought: Harry and I created this little bundle of joy.

The year was 2018. One Direction had gotten back together at the end of 2017 and were currently in the middle of their fifth world tour, called Who We’ve Become. The film Dunkirk proved to be popular and Harry had received positive reviews on his acting. He hadn’t heard from his agent for any other auditions for anything else, probably because of the band’s tour, but some would come soon. Bella was sure of it.

Harry’s hair had grown back and it made Bella happy to see those curls again. Its length was just below his shoulders with the natural volume at the front. As expected, Luna was very entertained by her father’s hair and loved playing with it. Harry didn’t mind at all. He loved making his daughter happy. Bella believed he was born to be a father. She could see the look of fatherly love in his eyes every single day. He adored Luna. He played with her. He brushed her hair. He kissed her cheeks. He took her out on play dates with Louis and Freddie. He loved being a father as much as Bella loved being a mother. Luna was spoilt rotten. Like Lux, she had earned Uncles in Liam, Niall and Louis. They all dotted on her and Luna clearly loved all the attention. She was loved by everyone around her. She was the pride and joy of Bella’s life. She was everything to Bella.

The One Direction boys were on a month break from their tour. Harry and Bella took the opportunity to visit Australia. They had only been twice before with Luna when she was 6 months old and 14 months old. Fortunately, she had slept the majority of the plane trip both times. But she was a toddler now and loved to be loud.

“Mummy, I’m hungry.”

They were on Harry’s private jet and were about an hour away from landing in Sydney. Luna was sitting in Bella’s lap facing her, pouting her plump pink lips. Bella grabbed her daughter under the armpits as she stood up, holding her in her left arm.

“Alright, sweet pea. How about some fruit? Apricot?”

Bella got a small package of apricots that were already chopped up. She returned to her seat and peeled open the plastic lid. She dipped a spoon into the orange fruit and held it in front of Luna’s mouth. It was lucky she liked fruit otherwise they would have a problem. The little girl opened her mouth and sucked the small apricot slices off the spoon. Breastfeeding was so much easier. Bella managed to get Luna to eat the whole serving of fruit. She had dribbled a little so Bella cleaned up her mouth with a napkin.

“Good girl.” Bella smiled at her and kissed her forehead. There was the sound of a door opening and closing and at the other end of the jet, Harry exited the bathroom. Luna’s eyes lit up when she saw her father. Anyone could see that she loved him a great deal.

“Daddy!” She cried, reaching out to him. Harry smiled and took her out of Bella’s arms, pressing a kiss to her tiny nose.

“Hello there, dimples.” That was his nickname for her, because she had dimples just like him. Luna yelped sweetly and latched her hands onto her father’s luscious curls. Bella smiled as she watched her husband and daughter interact with each other, remembering the moment Luna was born.

“One more push!” The nurse said. Bella let out another scream, gripping Harry’s hand extremely tightly. Sweat coated her neck and face, loose strands of her hair sticking to her skin. She was so exhausted but she managed to find the energy to push one more time.

“You’ve done it!” The other nurse cried. The next thing Bella heard was a loud cry. A wailing that pierced her ears, but in a good way. It was the sound of her baby. She finally heard her child. She threw her head back on the pillow and took deep breaths, sighing. It’s all over. I’ve given birth. She thought. She looked to her left to see Harry smiling at her, his green eyes full of tears. He kissed her hand and whispered “I love you” to her. Bella whispered it back and looked at
the two nurses. One of them held a squirming bundle in her arms while the other nurse was cleaning them down with a small white towel.

“What is it? What is it?” Bella asked. She wanted to know if she had a boy or a girl. The nurse who held the baby, who was now cloaked in the towel, turned around to face Bella and walked up to her, passing the baby over.

“A girl. Completely heathy. Congratulations.”

Bella gasped when the nurse placed the baby in her arms. Her hands shook as she held her newborn daughter for the first time. The baby was small and her eyes were closed. Her face was a little red from being pushed out of her mother’s womb and she was crying. But to Bella, it was the most beautiful sound in the world. I have a daughter… She said to herself.

“A girl. Look at her, Harry…She’s so beautiful…” Bella cried with joy as tears spilled down her hot cheeks. All the effort was worth it. To see this tiny human being, crying and alive. Such a vulnerable little thing with a wonderful life ahead of her.

“She is beautiful. Just like you.” Harry said. Bella looked at her husband and smiled widely. Harry had dark circles under his eyes because just like Bella, he had been awake for the eighteen-hour labour. But other than that, he looked just as happy as she did. Bella passed the baby girl over to Harry, who carefully held her in his arms. The only thing she saw on his face was the biggest smile, his dimples had never looked so beautiful. Bella clutched her chest and straightened out her breathing. Her body was on fire, she felt so hot. She needed water. The nurse gave her some and Bella was certain she had never drunk a whole glass of water so fast.

Bella took her baby daughter back in her arms and tried to calm her down. She kissed her small forehead and rocked her from side-to-side. Her crying subsided a little bit so Bella and Harry could hear each other better.

“What should we name her?” Bella asked. They had discussed names many times but because they didn’t know the gender of the baby, they hadn’t decided on just one name. The girl had a last name and a middle name but she needed a first name. While Bella’s attention was entirely on her daughter, Harry answered her question.

“How about Luna? Luna Joanne Styles.”

Bella’s gaze returned to her husband.

“Luna?”

“Too weird?” He raised an eyebrow.

“No, no, not at all! One, I love Luna in Harry Potter and two, it’s a unique name so I love it. Little Luna…” Bella cooed, looking down at the red-faced baby. She felt Harry kiss her sweaty forehead and gently stroke the baby’s head with his fingers, smiling like nothing else mattered.

It was a wonderful moment. A moment she would remember forever.

“Shall we play some music?”

Harry’s voice made Bella looked to her right. He sat in his seat diagonally opposite her with Luna in his lap. They looked so much alike, anyone could tell they were father and daughter. The toddler nodded enthusiastically and squirmed in her father’s arms. Harry opened the music folder on the small TV on the wall, using the remote to navigate over the playlists.

“What song, dimples?”

“Story! Story!” Luna screamed, jumping up and down, her fingers pulling at her father’s curls. Harry laughed and Bella smiled as he found Story Of My Life and let it play. The familiar opening tune to the beautiful song filled the jet and Bella’s fingers tapped against her thigh to the beat of the music. The first verse was sung by Harry and Luna tried her very best to join in. She only knew the simplest words but it was the fact that she was trying was what made it so cute.

“The story of my life, I take her home.
I drive all night to keep her warm and time is frozen.
The story of my life, I give her hope.
I spend her love until she's broke inside.
The story of my life.”

Bella drifted off to the lyrics of the song. She was tired and closed her eyes, resting her head back on the leather seat. The last thing she heard was her husband and daughter laughing, singing the last line of the song together.

“Oh, my adorable pumpkin! You’ve grown so much!” Jane cried, her wrinkled face brightening with a large smile. Luna ran up to her grandmother who immediately pulled her up into her arms, kissing her all over her face. With Harry’s hand on the small of her back, Bella walked into the house he had shown her on her 20th birthday. Her whole family were gathered in the huge house today to welcome Bella back home in Australia.

“Bells!” A girl’s voice squealed. Ashley, who was now 15 years old, walked up to her and gave her a bug hug. Bella hugged her back and kissed the side of her head. Ashley was taller now, about five or six centimetres off Bella, and looked more grown-up in her facial features. But she was just as annoying, like all little sisters.

“I’ve missed you, Ash.” She smiled, releasing the hug.

“Me too. So much. Hey, Harry.”

“Little sister.” He grinned, giving her one of his warm tight hugs.

Bella found herself being hugged and kissed by her parents. She had missed them a lot. It had been almost half a year since she had seen them. Even though London was her home now, she still missed Australia every day. For twenty years, she had lived her life there. It was so easy to come back and slip into the habits she always had. It was always great to come home. But Bella noticed there was someone missing.

“Where’s Amanda?”

“She has work. She sends her love though.” Her father answered.

“I’ll call her later. I’ve missed her.” Bella smiled. She felt very lucky she had a very good relationship with her stepmother (as her father had married her the last time Bella had visited). Amanda was a kind caring woman and she made her father happy.

“How have you been, sweetie?” Her mother asked, her hand on her daughter’s shoulder.

“Very well, Mum. Job’s going well and I’m basically looking after Luna all the time. But I love it. I love being a mother.” Bella smiled. She loved everything about being a mother. She relished every single second she spent with her daughter. She watched Luna grow even more beautiful every day. Bella finally understood the love her mother had for her and Ashley. Luna was more important than her. Her life was Bella’s top priority. That was the truth.

The rest of the day flowed perfectly. They had a fun-filled lunch, abundant with chatter about One Direction’s tour. The boys would wrap it up on November 4th in Sydney; Bella already knew she would attend that last tour date because it was on her 23rd birthday. Harry gave Ashley a surprise by presenting her with VIP tickets to that show. Her seat was right at the front next to Bella and would be allowed to hang out backstage before the concert. She yelled with happiness and called Harry the best big brother ever. It was no surprise to Bella that he was very smug about making Ashley excited. But his arrogance was simply cheeky. Bella fell in love with him with each passing second and would continue to fall for him always.

FIRST PICS! Harry Styles Introduces His First Child To The World!

It’s the moment all Directioners have been waiting for! Harry Styles has finally shared a picture of his beautiful baby girl. Click on the picture to enlarge and see Harry and Bella’s little bundle of joy!

Where has the time gone? Wasn’t it just yesterday that Harry Styles confirmed in a statement that he was expecting his first child with fiancée (at the time) Bella Frost? It all started when both Styles and Frost were seen entering and exiting The Royal London Hospital back in December. Rumours of the couple expecting spread like fire and finally, the baby Styles is here! Along with the first picture of his daughter, Harry also revealed her name.

How adorable is this little cutie? The One Direction singer released the first photo of himself holding his daughter on Instagram on August 7th with the caption: ‘Say hello to my little girl, Luna Joanne.’

“She looks exactly like Harry. He is beyond thrilled to be a dad and plans to spend as much time as he can with his wife and new daughter now that he’s away from the spotlight for a little bit. Harry wants to focus on looking after his baby girl for now.” A source has said. Seems like a great idea to us! Being a dad is sure to be good use of his time away from performing and touring.

But Harry is never far from the spotlight. It was back in May when he told the world he chopped his gorgeous curls off. It was a huge blow to Directioners who had went to Twitter and tweeted things like ‘R.I.P. Harry’s hair’. The reason behind his haircut was for his screen acting debut in the Christopher Nolan film, Dunkirk. Filming has been in full swing but we assume Styles’ scenes will be pushed back to allow for him to spend some time with the newest Styles family member. Until then, Harry is sure to be busy being a first-time dad!

Harry Styles Spills About Being A Dad

It’s almost been a year since news hit of little Luna Joanne Styles being born. And Harry is no less in love with her. He has been seen around London with Australian wife, Bella, pushing his daughter in a pram. The pair even came to Australia with Luna a few months ago and it seemed that Harry couldn’t stop spending time with his precious little girl.

In a recent promotional interview for his first film, Dunkirk, directed by Christopher Nolan, Styles (23) revealed what it’s like being a father. “I love it. You realise how selfish you are when you’re holding your child, even if you’re not selfish at all. You feel so insignificant and you understand that the world doesn’t revolve around you at all. Being a dad has opened my eyes to so many things and I will do anything for my daughter’s safety and happiness.”

Oh, how sweet! What poignant words, Mr. Styles! Could he be more perfect? He also added that he would “love to have more children in the future.” So, who knows? We might have another little Styles in the world in the next couple of years.

A large pair of headphones were placed on Luna’s head. She needed them to block out the sound of thousands of screaming girls that was sure to happen during the concert. The stadium was filling up by the minute, down on the floor and all the way to the sides and back. It was a sold-out show. It was the end of the Who We’ve Become tour. It was the opposite of the On The Road Again tour. They had opened in Sydney, Australia, and finished in England. For this tour, they had started in England and would finish tonight in Sydney. Bella sat back in her seat, holding her 27-month-old daughter in her lap. She couldn’t be more proud of her husband and the other three boys. They were the same kind young men she had met back in 2015. They were so sweet and so friendly. There was more to them than their music. They were the most down-to-earth guys Bella had the privilege of knowing and calling her family.

“Look at your T-shirt, Luna.” Ashley laughed from beside Bella. The toddler responded to her name and smiled adorably at her young aunt. Ashley placed her fingertip on the centre of Luna’s chest, indicating the picture on her T-shirt.

“It’s Daddy.” Luna giggled. Ashley rolled her eyes and looked at her older sister.

“Seriously?”

“I didn’t choose it.” Bella defended herself. Luna herself had picked out the T-shirt when they were surfed the official merchandise store for One Direction online. The moment she saw a black T-shirt with all four members of the band on it, Luna wanted it. And Bella couldn’t say no. So today, the toddler proudly wore her father’s, and three adoptive uncles’ faces, on her body. It was cute, if nothing else.

Security was placed very close to them because Harry demanded it. Their safety was paramount to him. The only thing that stood behind the floor seats and the stage was a barrier guarded by numerous security guards. It was Luna’s first time in such a public place but because of her young age, she didn’t know anything about it. She was there to watch her father perform. It was her first ever concert and probably wouldn’t be her last. The fans in the rows next to and behind Bella and Ashley recognised them but didn’t have the courage to approach, which Bella was grateful for. The fans she met in public were always so nice and respected her privacy, unlike the paparazzi. But that’s what it was like being married to an international pop star and being the mother of his child.

The sky was dark when the concert started. Fireworks exploded over the stadium and the screams started when the biggest boy band in the world took to the stage. The first song was Hey Angel and was a very cinematic opening to the show. They sang the classics like What Makes You Beautiful, Drag Me Down and Perfect. They revisited songs from their albums, Midnight Memories and FOUR, and performed every song off Made In The A.M. as well as some songs from their sixth album which had been released about a month ago. Just when Bella thought it couldn’t get any better, it did.

“Now…it is anyone’s birthday in here today?” Harry’s English drawl echoed out of his microphone. For their last show, he had decided to wear complete black clothes. His skinny jeans with a dress shirt unbuttoned a fair way down, his tattoos peeking through, with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms. His boots were a shiny gold and accentuated his large feet. His curls were a beautiful mess around his head and his wedding ring sparkled on his finger. The crowd cheered and screamed in response as Harry walked down the catwalk to the end of the stage, right where Bella sat.

“Well, happy birthday to any of you. And now, I know many of you probably know that we love to embarrass people we know who have birthdays during our shows. And today, I have a special someone in the crowd tonight who is celebrating her 23rd birthday.”

Harry looked right at her when he spoke. All she could do was smile. She had a feeling that he would single her out tonight. Bella knew him too well. Her face was suddenly on the large screens and the stadium exploded with more screams.

“Luna, darling, look.” Bella pointed at Harry, indicating him to her. The little girl looked up and grinned widely at the sight of her father. She began waving at her with both hands, crying “Daddy!” Harry waved back and blew her a kiss. There was a collective “aww” from the crowd and the other boys in the band smiled.

“Down here, I have my sweet little sister-in-law, Ashley, and my beautiful daughter, Luna. Say hi to Luna, everyone!” Harry raised his hand to the full stadium. Thousands of voices shouted “Hi, Luna!” and Bella bumped her up and down on her knee; she was very entertained.

“And it’s my wife’s birthday today!” Harry beamed as bright as the sun. Under the spotlight, he looked like he was born to be on the stage. He truly was a star. There were screams again before Harry continued to speak to the crowd.

“So, I’d like all of you to help me sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her. I know you will because you are all very nice people.” Harry smiled, leaning forward a little as screams from many fans exploded in Bella’s ears. Of course he’d sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to me in front of the whole stadium. He loves to embarrass family and friends, because that’s just…Harry. Bella smiled and shook her head. His next statement caught her off-guard.

“Bella, come on up here. Let me give you the birthday chair.”

She didn’t even hear the sound of her own breathing over the deafening roar of the stadium. It was absolutely crazy. Luna was lucky, she had the headphones on. Her ears were delicate and would probably bleed if she didn’t have the headphones on. Bella couldn’t refuse her husband, not in front of thousands of people. So she passed Luna over to Ashley and security helped her over the barrier. Harry held out his hand to her as she walked up the stairs. She took his hand while Liam, Niall and Louis came and joined them. The glare of the spotlight was so bright. Bella thought she had gone blind. How do the boys cope? She asked herself. Before she knew it, Harry was down on all fours and he told her to sit on his back. She slowly lowered herself down onto his back as the screams continued. Louis appeared on her left while Liam and Niall were on her right. She looked at her sister and daughter in front of her and smiled. Bella could feel the blood rushing to her cheeks and she knew her face was on the large screens. I’m blushing in front of over 40,000 people! Fantastic! The tune started and the boys’ voices harmonised beautifully.

“Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday to you.
Happy Birthday, dear Bella.
Happy Birthday to you.”

They drew out the last “you” and the audience cheered extremely loudly. Then, she realised One Direction had sung ‘Happy Birthday’ to her on stage in Sydney in front of a huge crowd. Bella got off Harry’s back and hugged Louis first then Liam and then Niall. When she turned to Harry, she found herself in his arms and when she pulled back, his lips were pressed against hers. By God, the screaming… It was so loud. He’s kissing me in front of over 40,000 people! Talk about PDA! The kiss was soft and he thankfully didn’t stick his tongue down her throat. It was a chaste kiss but Bella still couldn’t believe he was kissing her so publically. Bella broke the kiss and stared at him with huge eyes.

“Thanks.”

“You’re welcome, beautiful.” Harry smiled. They shared another hug before Bella left the stage to re-join her sister and daughter. She fell back into her seat in shock as the boys retreated up the catwalk to grab their mic stands to perform the next song. Bella had to take a deep breath and held out her arms, asking non-verbally for her daughter.

“I didn’t think he would do that.” Ashley said as Bella hugged Luna to her chest, kissing the back of her curly head.

“I did. I didn’t think he’d kiss me though.”

“The crowd went nuts.”

“I know. I heard.” Bella said. Her eyes went back to the stage, Harry’s face on the large screens. The boys had come back to the front stage, right in front of Bella and Ashley. The microphone was against Harry’s mouth and his green eyes scanned the crowd as he talked.

“We’ve going to follow the theme of love. So here’s If I Could Fly.”

Bella had never heard the song live before. At least, not on the tour. When Harry sung the first line, it brought her back to the day he first played it to her on the piano over 3 years ago. His eyes were on her and all she could do was smile at him. Glowsticks and iPhone lights shone around the stadium, moving around to the beautiful ballad. Bella listened to all the words, which were written about her, and swayed side-to-side, murmuring the lyrics, the same as Ashley while Luna fiddled with her fingers.

“For your eyes only, I show you my heart.
For when you're lonely and forget who you are.
I'm missing half of me when we're apart.
Now you know me, for your eyes only.
For your eyes only.
For your eyes only.”

Cheering arose after Harry sung the last lyric with every bit of his loveable heart. Apart from Infinity, this song was her favourite. Not only because it was written about her but it was overall a beautiful song. It had so much emotion and the boys’ harmonies during the chorus brought tears to Bella’s eyes. But they were happy tears.

It was almost 10pm when the concert finished. Luna had fallen asleep, as it was way past her bedtime, and her headphones had been removed, letting her short curly hair to fall freely around her face. She looked peaceful in her sleep, her cheek resting against her mother’s shoulder when Bella walked backstage to Harry’s dressing room. She saw Niall and Liam walking in the opposite direction and she waved at them with her free hand.

“Crashed out, huh?” Niall laughed, nodding at Luna.

“Yep. Home time for her.” Bella smiled, rubbing her back. If Luna was awake, Liam and Niall would be fighting over who got to hold her. Frankly, Bella couldn’t wait for them to become fathers themselves. They were both great with children.

“Do you guys mind looking after Ashley for a little bit?”

“Why? I don’t need babysitting!” Ashley was appalled.

“I need to talk to Harry in private and I’m not letting you walk around here by yourself. You’re a teenager and you’re a nightmare.” Bella said. Ashley mock-glared at her sister but that expression faded as soon as Liam and Niall agreed to keep an eye on her. Bella thanked them with a kiss on the cheek and told them she would meet them at the exit in about twenty minutes. So Ashley went with Mr. Payne and Mr. Horan while Bella continued on down the hallway. She reached the door to Harry’s dressing room and knocked quietly. When there was no answer, she opened the door to find Harry throwing a casual black T-shirt on.

“How many times do I have to tell you? You don’t need to knock.” He said.

“You know me. I like to be polite.” Bella smiled, gently placing her sleeping daughter in her carrier basket. Her mouth was open slightly and she murmured random noises. She was dreaming. Harry came over and ran his index finger down his daughter’s chubby cheek.

“Did she enjoy the concert?”

“I think she did. She kept on shouting out “Daddy!” and calling out to her “Uncles”.” Bella said, gesturing the quotation marks for “Uncles” with her fingers. Harry’s smile was kind and beautiful, melting her heart, just like it always did. His smile filled an entire stadium full of delight. His smile brought happiness to every situation. His dimples also helped and Bella was pleased her daughter had inherited them from him.

“Thank you, for what you and the boys did for me tonight.”

“I couldn’t not do it. Too good to resist. And Happy Birthday again, Mrs. Styles.”

Bella laughed softly at the mention of her last name. It still tingled her heart that she was Harry’s wife. She was no longer Bella Frost, a boring girl with an average life. She was Bella Styles, a grateful young woman and mother with a beautiful family.

“I didn’t expect you to kiss me in front of everyone though.”

“I had to. You’re mine and I want the world to see that.” Harry whispered lovingly, wrapping an arm around her waist and kissing her forehead. She closed her eyes at the gentle contact and sighed. There was a reason she needed to talk to Harry alone. She had news for him. Very important news.

“I’ve got something to tell you.”

Harry looked down at her in anticipation. Bella had waited two days to tell him. She wanted to be sure first. She didn’t want to give him false news. Bella took his free hand in her left one and placed it on her stomach.

“Our family of three will become four, baby.”

His green eyes widened and she felt his fingers move underneath her hand. She waited for him to do or say something. But Bella didn’t need a verbal response from him. A large smile brightened his face and that was all the confirmation she needed.

He’s happy.
