The sun was out but she couldn’t see it because Harry’s hands were over her eyes, blocking her eyesight. She could feel the warmth of the sun, not too hot, just the right temperature. It was moving into Summer in San Diego so the weather had started to become hotter. Bella wore jeans and Converse with a sleeveless black blouse and a dark green jacket. Perfect clothes for the day ahead.
“One more step.” She heard him say.
“Harry, seriously, where are we?”
She heard people, adults talking and kids laughing. Somewhere public. Bella moved forward one step and Harry’s answer was non-verbal. He removed his hands from her eyes and Bella blinked, adjusting to the light of the sun. She looked up and gasped. In front of her was the entrance to San Diego Zoo.
People were getting tickets and going through, into the zoo. A large poster with a panda, an elephant, a giraffe, a gorilla and a polar bear sat atop the entrance, the words SAN DIEGO ZOO printed in large white letters. Harry came to stand beside her, a joyful smile on his face.
“You told me you liked animals. So I thought of this.”
“Harry, thank you! You know me, I love wildlife.” Bella beamed as brightly as the sun shining above them in the sky. She reached up and gave him a warm hug, thanking him again and again. He took hold of her hand and walked through the entrance, after Harry showed the worker two tickets he had booked the day before.
Bella discovered their tickets weren’t just standard tickets. They were VIP tickets. And because of that, Harry had organised an interactive day with the help of their own personal tour guide. Bella’s attitude became like her little sister’s, so happy and childlike. Harry could only smile and laugh at how happy his girlfriend was.
Hours of interactive experiences passed. Bella got to pat a cheetah, get up close with an Amur leopard, watch elephants up close, feed a panda and two giraffes. They went to a seal show and a bird show, walked through bird enclosures, watched their guide feed the lions, marvelled at the Madagascar Garden, saw the polar bears swim in the water through the glass, see the Malayan tigers. It was honestly the best zoo experience Bella had ever been to. She had been to Taronga Zoo in Sydney many times but San Diego Zoo was so much bigger and offered so much more. Harry, being a megastar, was spotted several times and fans of all ages asked him for autographs and photos, which he gladly allowed.
Bella and Harry walked into the zoo at 11 o’clock in the morning. It was 5 o’clock in the evening when they left. She thanked him again and again, finally kissing him when they got back to the hotel. Bella hadn’t kissed him since that morning, seeing as they were out all day. It was an expression of gratitude, pulling him to her, telling him how thankful she was without saying a word.
“I’m guessing that means you enjoyed yourself?” Harry chuckled once his lips were free.
“Immensely. Thank you so much, Harry.”
“If I had a pound for each time you’ve said that today, I’d have about £50.” He smiled.
“Well, it’s now £51.” Bella said, patting Harry’s chest and leaving to go to her bedroom. Her Mac computer was plugged in to charge. She turned it on and sat on the bed, placing the Mac on her lap and logging into it. She opened her email up to see she had received one from her mother.

After Bella talked to her mother the night before, she took pictures of both her tattoo and Harry’s on her iPhone. She transferred them onto her computer and emailed them to her mother. Smiling, she typed a reply.

Bella transferred the photos from the zoo from her iPhone onto her Mac. She attached about fifteen of them to the email and clicked ‘Send’. She opened up the Internet, after connecting to the hotel’s WiFi. She typed ‘One Direction’ into the Google search bar. She didn’t know why but she was just curious. The first two articles that popped up were about her and Harry. Already? Shit, we got back just five minutes ago? And we’re already plastered all over the Internet? The other articles were about the On The Road Again Tour and where the boys were due to head off to next. Bella sucked on her lower lip, moving her cursor over the most recent article. It took only a few seconds to load and Bella launched into reading what was on the screen.

Member of One Direction, Harry Styles, was spotted at San Diego Zoo today with girlfriend, Bella Frost. It was back in April when pictures first arose of these two and it seems like the pair are going strong. In May, Styles and the other members of One Direction appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Styles kindly gave us more information on his personal life, regarding his girlfriend. “She’s Australian and her name’s Bella, she’s great.”
Styles and Frost were on what appeared to be a very casual date at the well-known zoo. From the pictures, the couple look very close and make a very beautiful pair. Styles was approached by fans several times at the zoo and he signed autographs and took selfies. Frost sometimes took pictures of Styles with his fans and seemed unfazed about her boyfriend’s fame. Overall, it looked like the two had a great time.
One Direction are in San Diego for their North American leg of their world tour, which starts again on the 9th of June. Almost all tour dates are sold out but there are some tickets still available. The North American leg finishes on the 12th of September before the band returns to Europe for their last leg of their tour. So what’s in store for Harry Styles and his Australian girlfriend? So far, everything seems to be going well.

Yes, you read that right. It is no secret that Harry Styles has lots of tattoos, all various symbols and sizes. This new information suggests he’s gotten another one. What is it? We don’t know yet. The singer’s Australian girlfriend, Bella Frost, was seen walking inside the tattoo parlour with him. What can this mean? Was she there for support? Or did she get a tattoo as well?
The pictures are taken from a distance so hardly anything can be assumed. The couple look very close with each other. A picture shown below is of Styles holding hands with Frost as they walked in together. Guess we’ll have to wait to see his new tattoo! It’s down to speculation for now though.

Bella frowned. I didn’t see any paparazzi. Neither did Harry. But then again, they’re good at their job. The pictures were indeed taken from a distance. The security guard and the driver shielded them from the majority of the photo but Bella could easily make out Harry’s hand wrapped around hers as they stepped out of the tattoo parlour. As the article stated, it was all up to speculation. No-one would know the truth unless Harry said something himself. Bella scrolled down and looked at the comments.
Interesting… Harry’s probably gotten a new tattoo. Maybe he wanted Bella to see him getting it done? Maybe he asked her what he should get?
I’m waiting until Harry says why he was there. I don’t believe anything unless the celebrity says something themselves.
If he’s got a tattoo, I can’t wait to see what it is!

Bella couldn’t stand it anymore. She closed the computer lid and buried her face in her hands. She didn’t cry this time. She only sighed and rubbed her face. She didn’t understand why people could be so cruel. What if I said something like that to this person? I don’t think they’d like it either. Some fans just didn’t understand that celebrities’ partners also had feelings. They were human beings too and nobody was perfect. Everyone had flaws and Bella didn’t find it right for the public to hurt people’s feelings about them.

She looked up and saw Harry standing a few metres away from her, just by the doorway. He looked so handsome, just standing there. A maroon V-neck T-shirt with a casual grey blazer over the top and skinny jeans with holes in the knees. His hair was out once again, curly and soft around his shoulders.
“What’s wrong, beautiful?”
Bella sighed and lowered her hands to her lap, cross-legged on the bed, her feet bare. After such a fantastic day, just a few rude comments dampened it. But the sound of Harry’s voice always soothed her.
“Nothing…I’m fine…”
“You don’t look fine. You look…upset.”
“Harry, don’t worry. I’m OK.”
But apparently, Harry didn’t believe her. He walked over and got on the bed next to her. Bella rested her cheek on her palm as he placed his hand on her back, on her long wavy hair. She could feel his eyes on her but she didn’t look at him. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Harry open her Mac computer, which was still on, and the screen lit up, showing him what Bella was looking at. There was silence for about a minute before Harry asked Bella to look at him. She did and saw his face was stern with a hint of tenderness.
“Why do you read this stuff?”
Bella didn’t have an answer. She just shrugged her shoulders.
“These people know nothing about you and me. If they were my true fans, they’d be happy for me. Don’t believe them. Don’t let them get to you.”
“I try, Harry, I really do. I just…don’t understand why people can be so… nasty.” Bella whispered.
“They’re just jealous. You really think I’d date any other fan who says shit like this?” Harry scoffed, gesturing to the computer screen with his hand. Bella turned away from him and shook her head, her hair falling over her shoulders as she looked down. His fingers wrapped around her left forearm, turning it over. He gently traced the small infinity symbol on her wrist with his index finger.
“This…is my affection for you, Bella. I want you to realise that the only person I want to be with is you. Only you and no-one else.”
Bella slowly lifted her eyes to meet his, hazel looking into green. She licked her lips and uncrossed her legs, tucking them to the side. She leaned over and rested her head against his chest, closing her eyes. She felt his hand stroke her hair before wrapping his arms around her. Bella felt safe in his embrace, like nothing and no-one could do anything to her. She clutched her hands to her chest, breathing in Harry’s cologne mixed with his unique scent.
“Hey, do you want to hear some of the album?”
His offer was something that no Directioner would ever pass up. Neither could Bella. She looked up and nodded, a smile growing on her lips.
“I’d love to.”
Harry pressed his palm against her cheek, his long fingers moving around the back of her neck. He rested his forehead against hers and gave a gentle kiss, soft and tender, sweet and warm. Bella placed her right hand against his chest and kissed him back, welcoming it. She could sense the fondness he felt for her in the single kiss and she knew what he told her was the truth. Bella shook the negative comments from fans out of her head and focused on Harry’s loving words. That was the only thing of importance.
It was a treat to hear some of the songs from the new album. The first one she heard was If I Could Fly, recorded with harmonies from all four members. The lyrics hit her right in the heart and when the four boys sang the chorus together, Bella was certain a tear rolled down her cheek.

For some reason, I am obsessed with the song We Don’t Talk Anymore by Charlie Puth feat. Selena Gomez. I cannot stop listening to it, it’s at the top of my ‘Recently Played’ list! If you haven’t heard it, please go and listen to it because it’s an amazing song!
Next chapter is also told completely from Bella’s POV because it’s an important chapter. A big event is going to happen in it… ;)
