An Unexpected Turn

I've had a really good time with Niall during this week with him. He was very attentive to being romatic. Almost daily dinners at fancy restaurants lot's of kisses and cuddles. I really appreciated how Niall took things slowly and was always a gentleman. I was very sad when I had to drop him off at the airport on Sunday.

"I'm going to miss you, Niall."
"I'll miss you more." he kisses my forehead and strokes my right cheek. "I'll tell you what... Why don't you visit me during our stay in London in 2 weeks?"
"I would love that but..." I hesitate.
"But what? Don't you want to be with me?" He asks with a concerned look.
"It's not that. Niall, don't forget I'm a nobody. I can't afford, in more than one way, to up and leave like that."
Niall frowns and says, "You're not a nobody. You're Melanie and you're important to ME. Please say yes."

Has he caught on to the fact that I can't deny him anything?

I poke his nose and reply, "Yes."
"Thank you. I will arrange everything and let you know."
"Ok. I'm so going to get fired, Niall."

He then brings my face close to his and kisses me with passion. I didn't want to see him go, but I knew this came with the package. I'm sure it wouldn't be the last goodbye we'd go through.
We walk towards the security line where I'd have to leave him.

Before going forward he takes off a necklace he was wearing and hands it to me. It had a shamrock charm on it.
"So you'll have me close to your heart, even if I'm on the opposite side of the world."
"Thank you." I say as I put it over my head.

Niall, once again, got his way. I'm on a plane to London to be with him. My supervisor, Leah, was NOT happy. She threatened to fire me if I missed anymore work. Which isn't ideal because we are still living in the Red Cross apartment and we're supposed to move soon.

After a long flight, I finally arrived in London. A driver was waiting for me at the airport. I was a little dissappointed it wasn't Niall. The driver drove me to the hotel. I didn't know which hotel we were going to.
"We're here, Miss." the driver says as he steps out to open my door. Upon stepping out, I can't believe my eyes. The hotel was super fancy and in a great location. The Dorchester hotel was amazing.
When I got to my room I see a note on the bed with a flower. I smile as I think of Niall.

I'm sorry I couldn't be with you upon your arrival. We've been in rehearsal all day. Be ready by 6, the guys have their girlfriends here too and we're all going to dinner together. I miss you.

I couldn't help but frown when he said "their girlfriends". Does this mean Harry has a girlfriend, too? I mean, it shouldn't bother me, but it really does. I haven't thought about Harry ever since Niall's visit in my hometown. Not that I should be thinking of him, especially if he has a girlfriend. Most definitely shouldn't be thinking of him because I have a boyfriend.
I snap out of my train of thought and order a late lunch. I was starving and it was still a few hours before dinner. I guess I will know if Harry has a girlfriend pretty soon.
