What A Feeling

Kara’s door flies open, disturbing the moment.
Niall steps back, taking Becca’s hand. “I’ll call you tomorrow.”
She nods her head, still overwhelmed by the kiss.
“Goodnight, Kara.” Niall says as he heads for the elevator.
“Goodnight, Niall.”

“I’m sorry, did I interrupt something?” Kara whispers to Becca.
“Come on in and open a bottle of wine, I’ve got a lot to tell you.”

Kara laughs loudly. “You? You got auctioned off? Oh, I love it.”
“Do you want to hear the story or not?”
“Sorry. Go ahead.”
“Niall and this jerk got into a bidding war over me.”
“That’s hot.”
“Kara...Niall raised his bid from twenty five thousand to a hundred thousand, to make sure he won.”
“Aww Becca, Sweetie, that’s incredible. He cares about you so much.”
Becca blows out a sigh. “And at the door, he kissed me...like I’ve never been kissed before. He said he’d do anything to make me his.”
“Aww, damn! You have to give him a chance.”
Becca looks up with tears rimming her eyes. “What if he breaks my heart?”
“Sweetie, what if he’s the one? What if he’s your everything?”
“Kara?”
“Yeah.”
“There’s a distinct possibility that you watch way too many Hallmark movies.”
They both laugh.
“I’ll look for a support group for my addiction tomorrow. But right now, you have a decision to make. Are you going to give your Disney prince a chance?”
“Well, I hadn’t had a chance to tell you yet, my boss is sending me to Ireland to cover an event.”
“Are you going to invite Niall to go with you?”
“I was thinking about it, and after tonight, I’m sure I want to.”
“You should, Becca. Just promise me you will just relax and let things happen with Niall. Don’t over think everything.”
“All I know right now, is I want more of that kiss.”
