Life After Role Play

The rest of the afternoon was filled with sharing the happy news to my family and catching up with everyone.
“Sarah are you going to the show tonight?” I asked her
“Yah my friends got tickets, but they are really bad!” she said laughing
Sophie wandered over towards me, wrapping her arms around my legs and leaning her body against my left leg.
I reached down to pick her up.
“Why don’t you come with me backstage? I have a pass in my car and I can give it to you before I leave!” I said,
“No way. You’d do that?” Sarah asked, shocked
“Of course! You shouldn’t have awful seats at your Uncle’s concert” I said, smiling at her
“Thanks so much Aunt Audrey” she said and gave me a hug.
“No problem sweet girl. I would say you can ride with me and Soph over there, but i’m gonna take Sophie back to the hotel for a nap before the concert! We will probably get to the arena around 6, so text me when you get there and we can meet up!” I said smiling.
“Ok I will! You’re the best Aunt Audrey!” She said,
Sophie was getting sleepy and cranky, so I decided it was time for us to probably head out.
I said goodbye to my parents first, giving my mom a hug and then my dad.
“Congratulations again honey, i’m so happy for you and Harry” my mom said.
“Thanks mom. Come visit us in Los Angeles whenever you want!” I said

I then walked over to Owen and Jack and gave them a quick hug, because I didn’t want to disturb their video game playing.
I said goodbye to Lilly's husband.
I walked over to where Lilly and Sarah were talking.
“Bye you two!” I said giving Lilly a quick hug.
“Please please please come visit us in Los Angeles!” I said,
“We will! Let’s get something on the calendar!” Lilly said,
“And Sarah, I will see you tonight. Do you wanna walk outside with me to grab the pass from my car?” I asked her, which she responded yes.
I said one more goodbye to everyone before heading out to my Range Rover.
I reached into the diaper bag, and grabbed two backstage passes from it and handed them to Sarah.
“Bring a friend if you’d like!” I said
She gave me a huge hug,
“Thanks Aunt Aud again” she said, “and bye Sophie” she said poking a grumpy Sophie’s tummy.
“Bye bye” Sophie said,
I laid Sophie down into her car seat, set a blanket on top of her and put her lamby right next to her.
I started the car and played quiet slow music to see if Sophie would fall asleep on the way there.
Luckily it worked, and when we pulled up to the hotel she was sound asleep.
I saw a ton of girls sitting outside the hotel, some of them were holding up signs, but most of them were just hanging out.
I thought it was amazing how dedicated the boys fans were.
I drove past the front of the hotel, and down into the under ground parking lot.
I turned the car off and grabbed my purse.
Sophie was still sound asleep, so I shut my door and walked over to her door, opening it.
I unbuckled her from her seat, grabbed the diaper bag and lifted her into my arms, being extra careful not to wake her up.
“Mumma…” she mumbled quickly before nuzzling her head into my neck.
She was holding on tightly to her lamby.

I collected her sippy cup and snack container that somehow managed to get on the floor.
I shut the door and locked the car before walking over to the elevator.
About 5 minutes later, I made it up to our hotel room, immediately setting everything down and then taking Sophie to her pack n play.
I removed her shoes, and her fur vest before laying her down into her pack n play.
I put a blanket over her tiny body and made sure she had her lamby with her.
I left the room quietly, cracking the door so I could hear her if she woke up.
For the next hour and a half, I sat on the couch watching Keeping Up With the Kardashians, and responding to some fans on Twitter.
I got up to grab a protein bar from the hotel kitchen when I heard soft cries and moaning.
“Mummaaa….Mummmaa” I heard Sophie crying.
I dropped the protein bar on the table and walked into our bedroom to find Sophie standing in her pack in play with tear stained eyes.
“Hey baby” I said, and reached down to get her.
She had just woken up so she wasn’t really too talkative.
When I picked her up she laid her head back on my shoulder.
I grabbed my protein bar and finished eating it before getting some grapes and ham out of the fridge and some goldfish.
I set her down on a stool and let her eat a quick lunch/dinner.
When she was done I set her down on the ground where she immediately clung to my leg.
“Soph you wanna go see Daddy now?” I asked, checking the time on my phone.
I guess Sophie had napped longer than I thought because it was already 5:45, and the opening act started at 7.
“Dadda” she said
“Yah let’s go see Daddy” I said and lifted her back into my arms.
I walked back into our room, putting her vest and boots back on before fixing her bow back into her hair.
I reapplied my makeup quickly, fixed my hair, and sprayed some perfume before grabbing my purse and diaper bag.
“Ready?” I asked her, which she nodded.
“You want me to carry you?” I asked her,
“No. I walk” she said and reached her hand out to hold mine.
I held her hand back and grabbed our bags before walking out the door.
She led the way to the elevator.
When we got to under ground parking lot, Sophie ran towards the black Range Rover.
Luckily there weren’t any cars in the parking lot.
I unlocked the car, and opened her door.
I set down the diaper bag next to her car seat so she could get her sippy cup or toys out of it if she needed to.
“C’mere” I said and lifted the tiny girl into my arms and set her down into her car seat, buckling her in and handing her her lamby.
I got into the drivers seat, turning on the car and cranking up the heat.
I plugged in my phone putting the boys album on shuffle.
I sent Harry a quick text.
Leaving now, Soph took a long nap. Be there in 30. love u
