Life After Role Play

I slipped on my Ray Ban sunglasses, because I didn’t want to be photographed.
Sophie buried her face into my shoulder, while the girls were screaming and banging on the glass doors.
“Hi, my husband told me Paul Higgins left keys down here for a Range Rover?” I said to the front desk lady.
“Yes, you must be Audrey. Here you go.” she said and handed me the keys.
“Thank you.” I said, walking away quickly because I knew it was freaking Sophie out.
“You okay baby?” I asked her,
she didn’t respond just buried her head deeper into my shoulder.
If she was really upset about it, she probably would be crying.
We went down to the underground parking where I found a black Range Rover, just like the one I have at home.
I opened the back to see Sophie’s exact car seat in a different color, already buckled into the back seat.
I quickly set her down and strapped her into the seat.
I gave her a little snack container of puffs and her sippy cup before shutting her door and getting in the front seat.
I plugged my phone into the AUX cord, immediately turning on Midnight Memories to shuffle.
Sophie loved listening to her Daddy sing and she would sometimes hum along to the music.
“Mommy where lamby?” she asked
I reached into my purse in the passenger seat and handed back to her.
“Tank you” she said and continued eating her snack.
I put in the direction for Lilly's house, and we were on our way.
The traffic was insane today, it being a Saturday afternoon, with a huge concert tonight.
We finally pulled up outside my sisters house around 11.
I looked back to see Sophie looking out the window, still eating a few puffs.
“We are here!” I said, and put the car in park and then got out to grab Sophie from her car seat.
I grabbed my purse first before unbuckling her and holding her on my hip.
I saw that my parents car was parked out front.
My sister Lilly is quite a bit older than me and she has three kids. Jack who is 21, Owen who is 19, and Sarah who is 14.
Jack and Owen were home for Fall Break, and my parents drove up to Charlotte to see me while I was in town.
I didn’t bother knocking, I just walked straight in.
“Hello? We’re here!” I yelled,
“Aud!!” I heard my sisters voice say.
The next thing I know Lilly comes running in and gives me a huge hug.
“I’ve missed you so much!” she said
“And hello to my precious little niece who has gotten so big!!” Lilly said pinching Sophie’s cheeks.
“Sophie can you say hi to Aunt Lilly?” I asked, her
“Hi” Sophie said, before burying her head into my shoulder.
“Well you guys come on in, the whole fam is in here about to eat some brunch!” Lilly said, guiding us towards the kitchen.
I walked in to see everybody sitting around talking and catching up.
Sarah was the first to notice that I was here, and she ran over to give me a hug.
Back before I had Sophie, and Harry and I were dating, I was filming a big block buster movie with Jennifer Lawrence and Austin Butler.

I would fly Sarah out for a week to come to set with me and hangout, which made us become pretty close.
“Hey Sarah!! How are you doing?” I asked,
“I’m good, hi Sophie” she said to my little daughter

“Hi” Sophie said back shyly.
“She’s so cute” Sarah said,
I heard my mother yell my name across the kitchen and I walked over to greet her.
Sophie immediately recognized Nana and Pop Pop.
“Nana Pop Pop” Sophie said, reaching her arms out to my mom.
I let my mom and dad play with Sophie while I went over to talk to Owen and Jack.
My mom eventually came over to talk to me while Sarah, Owen, and Jack all played and took pictures of Sophie.
“How are you doing Audrey?” she asked, pulling a chair up next to mine.
“I’m doing good. Really good.” I said with a smile,
“I’m glad to hear that. And how is Harry?” she asked, taking a sip from her sweet tea.
“He’s doing good as well. He really wanted to come over here, but he had to go to sound check for tonight with the boys” I said,
Harry and I had talked on the way home from dinner last night, and decided that it was time to tell my family that we were going to be expecting twins.
“Yah I actually have to tell you something” I said,
“What?!” she said in her southern accent, sounding surprised
“Harry and I are actually expecting twins. I’m pregnant!” I said,
Her jaw dropped open before pulling me into a hug.
“Oh Audrey, that is amazing! I’m so happy for you!” she said
“Thanks mom. Harry and I tried to tell Sophie the other night, but I don’t think she understands at all” I said, laughing a little bit.
“She will be a great big sister” my mom said, smiling.
“So am I allowed to tell people?” my mom asked,
“Yah, so I think i’m just gonna tell our family right now because we don’t want the media to know about it yet, so try to keep it just between us for now. We haven’t told the boys or Harry’s family yet, so you are technically the first person to know!” I said,
“Well, I definitely won’t tell anyone unless you give me the go ahead” she said with a smile
