It’s a foggy day in Springvale, Indiana when #HT looks at the photos spread out on the desk in the shed that has been converted to a makeshift office. The shots were taken from a camera that makes it seem like the person holding the camera is right next to the couple even though they had to be at least several feet away in order to remain inconspicuous while taking the photos. Technology is a powerful tool. And like every other tool, in the hands of the wrong person, it can bring disastrous results. But the thing with power is that once you get a taste of it, you just can’t go back. Once #HT knew that the community of Springvale was living on every word #HT typed in hashtag, that power was realized. And now, looking at Harry Styles face along with the face of another socialite old enough to be his mother, #HT knows he has something juicy enough for the online tabloid to get enough hits for the sponsors to keep coming. #HT begins typing…
They say that love is madness. No one knows that better than Harry Styles. It has been brought to the attention of the Hashtag staff that the sole heir of the Styles Empire, aka the resident bad boy, is suffering from this great disease which has driven people to madness for centuries. The pictures posted along with the hashtag, it wouldn’t be long before Harry Styles will become the gossip among school kids and PTA meetings—a mother’s worst nightmare—her twenty-two year old college-age son having an affair with a woman not only old enough to be his mother, but who also happens to be an actual acquaintance of his mother. #HT wonders how Mrs. Styles, the self-proclaimed Queen of Springvale would handle this news.
God, these people are stupid.
But if they weren’t then #HT probably won’t have enough fodder for the tabloid.
These people who thought they were so powerful, so fucking perfect, bringing them down is more fun than #HT ever imagined it would be.
