EMILYS POV:

“Chad!” I called out hoping to get his attention. Luckily it did. His face then went blank and he just stopped walking and stood. After about a few seconds he looked down and continued walking. I ran up to him and said “what happened to going out today?” I asked looking at him. He was still walking so I was walking with him. “Nothing” he said not looking at me. I then stood in front of him making him unable to continue walking.

He let out a loud sigh and I said “Chad… what’s the matter? And I now it’s not just nothing” he put his hand threw his hair and said “Emily you’re a sweet girl but you should have told me you had a boyfriend” I looked at him confused and said “I-I don’t have a boyfriend” his expression changed from frustrated to unbelieving. “Cut the crap Emily! I know you do. When I called, your boyfriend answered the phone!” he said putting emphasis on the word boyfriend.

I started to think of who would have answered my phone and then it hit me. Harry. I shut my eyes and opened them and said “please wait here okay?” he then nodded and I started jogging to my car. Harry was in the passenger seat and I walked over to his door and opened it. “Come here” I said threw my gritted teeth. He got out of the car and I grabbed his shirt pulling him over to Chad. “Hey Harry, is there something you want to tell me?” I asked him with my arms now crossed over my chest.

He looked at Chad and said “who’s this?” I smiled and said “this… this is Chad” Harry’s expression changed. He looked at me and then back at Chad. “So Harry, Do you have something you want to tell me?” I said getting angrier. He sighed and looked at the ground while he scratched the back of his head. “Im sorry Emily, its just-“ I cut him off and said “go get in the car” he threw his head back and chuckled. He then started walking back to the car like I demanded.

Once Harry was in the car Chad said “if hes not your boyfriend then what is he doing at your house? Is he your brother, cousin, friend?” I don’t know if it was just me or if it was getting hot. “uh… hes a friend” Chad then motioned for me to continue and then said “so? Then what’s he doing at your house?” I wasn’t sure if I should answer but it wasn’t that bad of a reason to have him over. “Well, he needed a place to stay so hes staying with me” I said unsure of his response.

He smiled and said “that’s very sweet of you but next time, please just have your phone with you” he said with a small smile on his face. I smiled and he was about to continue walking until I said “Chad” he looked at me and said “yea?” I continued and said “can we maybe pretend this day never happened and try again tomorrow?” a smile plastered on his face and he said “id love to. Ill call you okay?” I smiled and said “okay, well ill see you tomorrow” he nodded and continued his walk into the store.

I ran back over to my car and hopped in. Once I got it I did the first thing I wanted to do really badly. I grabbed my hand and whacked Harry on the arm. “OW!” he said looking at me. “What was that for!” he said. I looked at him and said “you know exactly what that was for! Don’t play stupid with me!” I said now yelling at him. He then said “whatever, just because you found a guy doesn’t mean you need to turn to a total bitch!” he said yelling back at me.

We continued to argue as I was driving.

Once we got home we were still yelling back and forth. I had already put the ice cream in the freezer and me and Harry were in the living room face to face. “well then tell me! Why the fuck did you tell him all the crap you did!” I said even angrier than I was hoping to get. “Because I did! Why the fuck cant you just move on! You guys looked okay when we were leaving the store!” he said with the same amount of anger I had.

“I can’t just move on because who fucking does that! You try to ruin the one shot I get with a guy!” I then started hitting Harry because all the anger inside me needed to get out. Don’t worry I didn’t hit him in the face. I was throwing my balled up hand at his chest, hoping he would feel at least some pain. “I fucking hate you” I said as Harry was just standing there taking the hits. He then grabbed my hands, put them above my head and then pushed me up against the nearest wall.

I started crying because… well I don’t know why but I was just getting emotional. Maybe my monthly friend will be visiting soon. I had my eyes shut I kept crying until I heard Harry speak. “look, just calm down! Do you want to know why I did it!? I did it because I don’t want to see you with some other guy! I don’t want you to have a boyfriend unless its me!” he said. I was totally caught of guard and just stood there shocked.

“What?” I said slowing down my crying to see if I was hearing correctly. “You heard me” he said, now speaking calmly. We stood there and we just looked at each other. His eyes were shot into mine and I watched as our faces moved closer to one another’s. Before I knew it, I shut my eyes and my lips came in contact with his. Our lips moved together in a perfect movement. It was like a puzzle and me and him kissing, put it together.

We both pulled away and he looked at me and smirked. He then let go off my hands and he put his hands on my waist. He crashed his lips to mine again and everything was perfect.
