HARRYS POV:
After putting Emily for a nap I went to the living room and turned on the TV. I felt really bad for her because she lost her father and since I never seen her mum im guessing hes all she had. I started flipping threw the channels until I heard a vibration. I stood still and listened to see if I would hear it again and I did. I started to look around and I then saw Emily’s phone. It was still sitting on the coffee table. I looked at her screen and it was a number I didn’t recognize.
I was very hesitant to grabbing her phone but I did. I picked it up an answered. “Hello?” I said with question in my voice. “hi, this is Chad. Is Emily there?” he asked and I started to panic. I didn’t want some no good prick talking to Emily. “umm.. yea shes here, why?” I asked sounding unfriendly. “well, I wanted to talk to her about our date tonight” he said calmly. I already started hating this guy ‘chad’. I didn’t want her going on a date with someone so I did what the first thing that came to mind.
“oh, well Im sitting next to her right now” I said lying. “and she said she wants nothing to do with you. Sorry bud” I said proud of my response. “well can I speak to her at least?” he said with a little bit of hope. I scoffed and said “no, lets just put it this way okay. If you go any where near her trouble will be heading your way pal” I quickly hung up and set the phone down. Realization just hit me and I realized what I just had done. Was Emily really making me fall for her?
I totally just told an innocent guy a couple of lies because I was getting jealous? I groaned and threw my head back and put my hands on my face. I was proud yet not proud of what I did. Oh well, she wont find out right?
EMILYS POV:
It’s now 3:00pm
I’ve been awake for about 2 hours but I was just lying in bed. I didn’t want to get up. I just wanted to stay asleep forever and never wake up. I looked at the clock by my bed and I saw it was 3. I remembered I had a date with Chad at 5 so I quickly jumped out of bed. I thought maybe he could help me get my mind off things. I walked over to the living room to see Harry sleeping on the couch. I smiled at the sight of him but then ran to my bathroom.
I stripped my clothes off and jumped in the shower. I put a lot of shampoo wanting my hair to smell good. I then washed it out and put in conditioner. Once I was done I went to my room and started looking for an outfit. I put on a Mickey Mouse shirt with a pair of pants and some toms. ( http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=87418591 ) once I was dressed I decided to do my hair. Since we were doing simple and casual stuff today I chose to dress casual. I put a braid in my hair and then applied a small amount of lip gloss.
I walked back to the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth. When I finished brushing I walked into the kitchen and looked at the time on the microwave. It was 4:30 and I just remembered I never gave him my address. I quickly went to the living room and grabbed my phone off the coffee table. I realized that I didn’t have his number, but he had mine. It didn’t say I had any calls or text messages so I began to worry.
Maybe he just changed his mind? Or maybe he just wasn’t feeling well. It can really be anything. I then moved Harry’s legs up, sat down on the couch, and then set his legs on my lap. I started messing around with my phone and I went to my call log to see the number that called me to tell me about my dad. I never gave him a proper thank you. When I went to it I saw a different number. It must have been Chad and my phone must have just been being stupid.
I quickly pressed it and it began to ring. It rang two times and then it said my call has been forwarded. I removed my phone from my ear and groaned. I called the number again and this time it rang three time. But once again it was forwarded. I left a voice mail and said “hey its Emily, if this is Chad please call back!” I then hung up and put my phone down. I turned on the TV and started going threw the channels. I saw family guy was on so I waited for Chad as I watched TV.

It was now 5:45 and at this point I was sad yet pissed. I groaned and threw my hands in my face, covering it completely. Today just had to of been the worst day of my life. First he worlds best man is dead and secondly I got blown off by a boy who wanted to take me out. I threw Harry’s legs off of me and stood up. he woke up because of it. “hey. Im trying to sleep here” he said annoyed.
When he looked at me he saw the irritated expression on my face and said “what’s with that look? You’re the one who woke me” I flipped him off because first having a bad day then having some dude annoy you. A smile grew on his face and then he said “ouch” I laughed lightly at his stupidity. That what I liked about Harry, he was really hard to stay mad at. I walked over to my kitchen and did what any girl would do. I started searching for ice cream.
I couldn’t find any and I was now really desperate for some. “Harry Im going to the store, want anything?” I asked heading for my car keys. He then jumped off the couch and said “ill go too” I shrugged and said “alright hurry up” he nodded and started putting on his shoes. While he was doing so I grabbed my wallet and my phone. Once we were ready we both walked to my car, with me shutting the door and locking it behind me.
When we got into the car Harry said “why do you need to go to the store?” I looked at him and said “I want ice cream” a smile grew on his face and then he said “your really going to a store just to get ice cream?” I smiled and said “yea why not?” he smiled and said “you girls are so weird” I stuck my tongue out at him and then began driving. The drive was a quiet one. The only thing stopping it from being completely quiet was the radio.
A song by ed sheeran came on and I noticed as Harry was trying not to sing. I didn’t want to make it noticeable that I noticed so I pretended like I didn’t. I then heard him start to sing and he got louder and louder. He wasn’t bad at all. I smiled as I listened to him singing and he must have noticed because he instantly stopped. “damn styles your good” I said laughing. I turned my head to look at him and he was blushing. “keep singing” I said sounding more demanding.
He laughed and said “shut up and keep your eyes on the road” jokingly. We both started laughing. “Harry ill make a deal with you okay? Ill put my eyes back on the road once you start singing again” he shook his head no and then I said “okay whatever you say” I then grabbed one hand and put it over my eyes. I just didn’t give a fuck in the world anymore. Harry then yelled “Emily what the hell!” I laughed and said “if you want to live then sing!”
He instantly started singing and I took my hand off my eyes. I looked back at the road and luckily there were no cars. I started laughing and then Harry stopped singing and said “what are you laughing about!” I smiled and said “that was fun” I looked at him and he just rolled his eyes and continued singing.

We made it to the store and once we got in a cold air blasted at us. I liked the cold and refreshing feeling it gave me. I then grabbed a basket and me and Harry started walking. We first went to the ice cream section. Every ice cream I saw I wanted. “what kind of ice cream do you like styles?” I asked Harry while he had his back turned. “umm… I don’t really mind any will do” I nodded and grabbed five different kinds of ice cream. I grabbed mint n chip, strawberry, coconut pineapple, rainbow sherbert, and chocolate.
Harry then turned around and saw all the ice cream in the cart. “wow are we like having a party or something?” he said sarcastically. “yes actually, Im inviting box of tissues and sad movies” a smirk grew on his face and then he said “cant wait to meet them” I laughed and harry continued and said “lets go to the candy! Ive been craving gummy bears” I laughed and said “so a bad boy like you likes gummy bears?” he smiled and said “this bad boy murders those gummy bears”
I laughed and him and said “okay let go then” we started walking to the candy area and I felt as his arm wrapped around my waist protectively as I pushed the cart. I smiled but looked away so he couldn’t see it. After walking down about 4 rows of stuff we made it to the candy section. Harry let go of me and jogged to the gummy bears. “Yes! I’ve been waiting for this moment for so long!” he yelled. I was pretty sure everyone in the store heard him.
I started laughing and said “Harry. Shut up, your loud” he smiled and came back to me with the bag of gummy bears in his hand. “okay im ready we can go now” he said as he was eye balling the bears. I saw how anxious he was to get his hands on the candy. “Harry, I swear you are just like a five year old” I said laughing at him. He winked at me and said “you know it baby” I laughed even more at his stupid comment. At that moment I just realized how much I’ve smiled and laughed today because of Harry. At the end of the day I don’t think it was so bad. Harry made it like that.
We walked to a cash register and luckily the line wasn’t long. I started piling the ice cream on the counter and I had to snatch the gummy bears from Harry. He pouted as I grabbed them and set them down. I smiled at his reaction and said “aww its okay baby, you will get them soon” I laughed as I started pinching his cheeks. He quickly slapped my hands away and said “come on! Not in public” I laughed and said “oh my god Harry, you’re so dumb” he stuck his tongue out at me and then said “well, you’re the brat”
After I paid for everything we started walking to the car with bags in our hands. I popped the trunk and threw the bags inside. Once I closed it I saw a very familiar boy. “Umm… Harry? Do you mind starting the car Ill be back” I said tossing him the keys. He nodded and got in the car starting it. I then started walking to the familiar face and noticed he didn’t see me yet. “Chad!” I called out hoping to get his attention.
