Chapter 39 - Trying
Lucy's P.O.V
''There's so much to go through'' I sighed, Tess and I were sitting in our living room looking trough catalogs for Uni. ''I know but we need to decide soon, you have to apply before the 5th December'' it was November 28 now so we had exactly a week to decide. ''This is bizarre, we're 19 how are we supposed to know what we want to do with our lives?'' I closed the catalog I was holding and leaned back on the couch. ''Don't stop now babe, we'll figure it out'' Tess picked up my catalog. ''If you could have any job in the world, what would it be? It can be anything, don't feel limited'' ''probably something that has to do with children'' I said, ''how about teaching?'' ''no, I don't know...I want to help children but not by teaching..'' Tess listened as she went trough the catalog. ''Do you know what you want to do yet?'' I asked her, ''yeah I think I'm gonna apply to the Media and arts technology'' she shrugged ''how can you have it all figured out?'' ''don't worry Lucy, you'll find yours too''.
''So I was thinking...'' Harry said, ''before we go on tour maybe we could go for a vacation somewhere?'' we were in Harry's car on our way to eat lunch in Soho. ''Are you thinking any place special?'' he gave me a quick look ''some place warm'' he shrugged. ''Sounds fun, just the two of us or the others too?'' ''I don't know, I guess we could just say we're going and that they can come if the want to'' ,I giggled ''what a nice invitation'' I said ironically and he smirked at me. ''You see that way there's still a possibility the two of us end up alone without looking like we really want to be alone'' he sounded so proud of his idea ''my smart boyfriend, everyone'' I laughed.
It was weird eating out in public when both paparazzi's and fans were looking at us through the window. But I guess if Harry's a part of my life this has to be too, like a package deal. ''Does it bother you?'' how does he do that? Know what I'm thinking all the time. I could tell he felt guilty, ''no not at all, I was just thinking that's it'' he didn't need to know it made me uncomfortable. I just need to get used to it. We stepped out of the restaurant hand in hand after a while and the flashes once again temporarily blinded me. Harry stopped for a few photos with some fans without letting go of my hand, which I was grateful for, I didn't see shit so I wouldn't be able to find my way to the car. Harry opened the door for me and I jumped in before closing the door. I covered my face with my hands when the flashes got intense. Harry quickly jumped in in the drivers seat and drove off. ''When are we getting you a new car?'' I was almost offended by his question, he knew how I felt just by sitting in a car. How the hell could he expect I was thinking about driving now? ''yeah no that's not gonna happen'' I sounded more annoyed than I intended to, ''you need to get back up on the horse again, if you don't the fear will only get worse'' I turned to him ''can everyone just stop telling me what to do? If I'm not ready I won't fucking do it, simple as that'' I snapped. ''I'm just trying to help you'' he mumbled, ''well don't'' I stared out the window.
''Are you going to be mad at me all day?'' Harry asked, we were on our way to Louis' place for a movie night. ''I'm not mad, I'm just annoyed'' he let out a sigh ''please don't be annoyed with me'' I looked over at him and saw he was using his puppy eyes. He leaned closer to me, ''please I love you'' he said with a squishy voice making me smile. ''Yes, I see a smileeee'' he started kissing me all over my face until I began to laugh, ''okay okay fine, I'm not annoyed with you anymore'' he made a little victory dance in his seat as he parked the car. I'm in love with such a dork.
''Honey I'm home'' Harry yelled as we walked in to Louis' flat, ''boobear'' Louis yelled back and attacked Harry with a hug. I gave Eleanor a smirk, ''my little pumpkin pie'' I yelled and ran over to her for a hug ''sweetcheeks'' she screamed as she wrapped her arms around me. The boys were looking at us as we were stupid, obviously not understanding we were mocking them.
''So what are you guys doing let's say over New Years?'' I asked Eleanor as we sat down in the living room. The boys were sitting in front of the tv playing some video game. ''I don't know, why?'' ''well, Harry and I are thinking about traveling somewhere before they go back on tour..and I start school'' I smiled at El's reaction, ''first of all yes we definetly are joining you and second of all, did you get in? You didn't even tell me you applied'' she sounded more excited than what I felt. ''I decided on majoring in Psychology and after that specialize on children. I applied like two weeks ago'' I really felt I had made the right choice this time, this was something I actually could imagine myself doing and enjoying. ''I'm so happy for you babe'' she squealed, ''now let's plan our vacay''.

Sorry for a shorter chapter AND that it's been a longer time since I've updated, I just have a lot in school right now.
