Nicks POV
“Uhhhh I’m hungry” Anjelica and I whined.

“Are you sure that they are coming?” I asked Liam, not even lifting my head from the picnic table.

“Positive. Niall would be hungry by now, and most likely the others” Liam said, also hungry himself.

“What charm did Niall get?” Zayn asked, temporarily diverting our attention from our empty stomachs to him. My eyes struggled to look over at him, my head too lazy to move.

“He got her some type of food. I’m not sure, but he said that he knows how she’s going to get it” Liam shrugged.

“Miss me?” Nicole said, Louis, Niall and Harry not far behind. I lifted my head and pointed to my face, noticing that she was painted like a monkey and Harry as a cute cat.

“Face painting” Nicole smiled and Harry shrugged. Anjelica jumped up and I sat up.

“Where you going?” Nicole asked, questionably looking at her sister.

“Going to get food now that you are here, coming with?” Anjelica asked, looking over towards the food stands.

“COUNT ME IN!” Niall cheered.

“Me too!” I cheered, standing up with Zayn. Zayn and I paced in front of the various food stands, not sure what to get.

“Zayn, what do you want?” I asked, still not sure what I want.

“To be honest, I want some pizza” Zayn said, looking at the food sign.

“Yeah, that sounds good” I said, my tummy growling in agreement. We ordered our food and drinks before heading back over to our friends who were already digging in. Zayn and I sat next to each other, and I was surprised that all of us fit at this one table. I also was surprised that we all got pizza.

“It’s funny how we just had pizza not too long ago” Liam laughed, biting into his pizza. The boys laughed and I looked at Zayn, wondering what they were talking about.

“The boys and I had pizza Monday night” Zayn explained.

“Oh” I said, turning back to my pizza and taking a big bite.

“Hey, look at this” Nicole said, pointing at something on her plate. She picked up the shiny object and held it up. “Huh, it’s another charm” she puzzled, intently looking at it.

“Aw, it’s a piece of pizza!” I gushed, and looked over to a smiling Niall.

“Yeah” Nicole said. “I keep getting all these charms” she said, slipping the charm into her pocket. I literally was about to face palm. Typical Nicole, never catching onto things and always so gullible.

“Hey, I know this is kind of random, but I’ve been wondering this for a while” Anjelica said, our ears listening closely. “Why were you guys late?” Anjelica asked Louis. Louis blushed and Nicole, Liam and Harry laughed.

“Louis such a reckless driver” Liam joked and Niall snickered.

“Told ya!” He said to Anjelica.

“We got pulled over 3 times” Harry laughed and Louis blushed even more. Now Zayn and I were laughing.

“The first time was because he was dancing and singing so crazy that the police thought that he was drunk” Nicole snorted and we all laughed harder.

“Oh stop it..” Louis scowled and grumpily bit into his pizza.

“He..he had to walk in a straight line, touch his nose and even take a breathalyzer” Liam choked on his laughs and I’m sure all of our stomachs hurt from laughing so much. Niall was laughing so hard, he had to gasp for air.

“What about the other 2 times?” Anjelica asked once she caught her breath.

“The second one was for driving too slow and the third one was for driving too fast” Harry replied, his dimpled prominent and deep.

“Did he get a ticket?” Zayn asked with a wide grin.

“No, because each time we told the police that it was Nicoles birthday and they let us go” Liam said.

“I would never get a ticket” Louis spoke up.

“Right..” Zayn taunted and I giggled. He smiled down at me and I was glad that he shared such a smile with me.

“So why did you paint your face as a monkey?” Liam curiously asked Nicole.

“Because then I could do this” Nicole said and made her crazy monkey face. Her cheeks blew up as she pulled her ears out and widened her eyes. We all laughed at her face, she looked exactly like a monkey, especially with that paint on. Once we got done eating, we all walked around a bit, pondering on what they should do.

“Oh heck yes” Anjelica said, spotting a big ride. “I’m so riding this” Anjelica said, looking over at me with a smile.

“Yeah, count me in” I smiled and looked up at Zayn who was already smiling down at me.

“I’m in” Zayn said.

“Well I’m out” nicole said, fearfully looking at the ride. Zayn went over to her and leaned down head level.

“A roller coaster is like life” he said. “It has it’s ups and downs, but you ride it anyways” Zayn said, inspiring all of us. Nicole smiled and nodded. “It’s like an adrenaline rush, you’re going to be fine” Zayn assured.

“Okay” Nicole finally said after a few seconds of silence.

“Sweet!” Anjelica said and got in line.

“Sorry guys, but I’m going to sit this out” harry said, visibly gulping. Louis put an arm around Harry and gave him a squeeze.

“I’ll stay with him, to keep him company” Louis gave Harry a small smile, Harry relaxing a bit.

“Well, no ones keeping me from this” Niall said and got in line next to Anjelica, sweetly looking at her. Nicole looked over at Liam.

“I need someone to sit next to” she said, grabbing Liams hand.

“Sure” Liam gave her an adorable smile. We all got in line behind Anjelica and Niall, chatting away at random things. I smiled and realised just how perfect they are for each other. They both love to eat, they’re funny, silly, wild, free, man the list just goes on.
Zayn squished in next to me on the ride, his touch fiery. Nicole and Liam squished together in front of us and Niall and Anjelica behind us. Before the man strapped us in, Nicole lost all confidence and panicked.

“Wait, what am I doing. I can’t do this” She said and shot up. I looked at Zayn, hoping that he would speak more words of wisdom.

“Nicole, it’s just the adrenaline. Just go with it” zayn simply said, not even shifting by my side. Nicole got inspired once again by his words and Liam slowly pulled her down. The man continued to strap us in and went through the safety precautions and to hold onto your things.

“Ready?” Zayn beamed at me, practically bouncing in his seat.

“Yep” I nodded and the ride slowly started to move.
Nicole shrieked and giggled the whole ride, waving her arms in the air. Zayn and I laughed at her silliness and Anjelica and Niall would swear when they suddenly jerked forward or felt their nerves tingle. The wind was cold against my blown back cheeks, but it was fun and felt good.

“THAT WAS AWESOME!!” Nicole cheered and wiggled in her seat, waiting for the man to unstrap us.

“See? It wasn’t that bad” Zayn said. The man unstrapped us and called Nicole over. We waited for her at the exit, knowing what was going on.

“This charm has a roller coaster on it” Nicole said, fiddling it in her fingers. “cool” she marveled. I looked up at Zayn who was smiling so big, it made me a little upset that I couldn’t make him smile like that.

“Harry you have to try it!” Nicole squealed, running up to Harry. Harry shook his head, burying himself further into a protective Louis. Liam pulled me, Anjelica, Zayn, and Niall to the side as Louis started bickering with Nicole.

“How many charms has she gotten?” Liam asked, keeping his voice low so Nicole didn’t hear.

“Well, she’s gotten Louis, Harry’s and mine” Niall said.

“And mine” Zayn said.

“Okay, so that means me, Anjelica and Nick” Liam said, pointing to each person he named.

“Mines at the photobooth thing” I said, looking around to see if it was close by.

“Mines at the mechanical bull” Anjelica said. We all looked at her with confused expressions.

“Why would it be there?” I asked.

“Because my charm is a fist” Anjelica smirked and cracked her knuckles.

“What the heck does that have to do with a bull?” Zayn asked.

“The point of the fist is that your hard core, like me” she smiled and Niall snickered.

“I like hard core” Niall flirted, causing Anjelica to blush.

“Why do they even have a mechanical bull?” I asked.

“For the adults entertainment” Anjelica replied.

“Well then...mines at the concert. That won’t be for later, so we’ll go get yours” Liam said, pulling our attention back to the task at hand.

“Right” I nodded. We broke up and went back to Nicole and Louis, who were still bickering over something weird.

Harry’s POV
“Harry, you’ve got to try it!” Nicole squealed and ran over to me. Fear struck into me again and I shook my head, hiding in Louis protective chest.

“No, Harry doesn’t like roller coasters” Louis said, gently rubbing my back. I frowned into his chest as I heard Nicole sigh. I really don’t want to let her down, I want to be there with her, but I just really don’t like roller coasters. It’s just like Liams weird fear of spoons, we’re just afraid of them for some reason.

“Harry” Nicole whined.

“He doesn’t want to” Louis said.

“I was afraid of them, but they’re kind of fun once you face them” Nicole said, shooting back at Louis.

“Roller coasters aren’t for everyone” Louis stated.

“You don’t know that” Nicole snapped.

“Okay Nicole, whatcha want to do?” I heard Liam say. I looked up from Louis chest and saw everyone surrounding her.

“Well, I’m not sure” Nicole shrugged.

“Do you just want to walk around like before and just see if there’s anything you want to do?” Liam asked.

“Okie” Nicole cutely said. I pulled away from Louis and stood up. I took the spot next to Nicole and walked next to her, sneaking glances at her cute monkey face. She babbled to Nick about cute random things. “Oh my gosh look!” Nicole's eyes lit up more than they already were, if that was possible. “It’s like in the movies!” Nicole gushed and I looked over at what she was pointing to. It was one of those photo things that people take pictures with their friends in. I’ve never taken one before, and it seemed fun to do.

“Remember we’ve always wanted to do that” Nick told Nicole.

“We have to do it!” Nicole insisted and ran over to it. I chuckled at her eagerness and adored her happiness.We walked over to it and I smiled at the man standing next to it.

“How much?” I asked, pulling out my wallet.

“5 dollars for 7 pictures” he politely answered. I nodded and handed him the money, getting a small thank you from him in return. Nicole got in and waved us in. “Get in.” We all peeked in and our eyes all widened.

“Nikki, love, I don’t think that we could all fit” Liam gently told her, giving her a sad smile.

“Nonsense, get in” Nicole insisted and pulled Liam in. We all crammed in there, and frankly, I didn’t mind the bodies touching me. We’re all close friends here. We posed and made funny faces, laughing and playfully sandwiching each other. At one point, my cheek was pressed up against Nicoles soft one. I could smell her flowery scent and I just knew that she’s got me, bad..

“I love you guys but, we are never being that close again” Louis teased and stretched his limbs once we stumbled out.

“Here’s your pictures” the man said, handing me them. Everyone crowded around me, trying to get a look at the pictures. I eventually just handed them off to Nick who had Zayn’s chin on his shoulder. “Miss?” The man said, tapping Nicoles shoulder. Nicole turned around and came face to face with Nicks charm. Nicole thanked the man and smiled down at the charm. I shivered at how her smile made my insides fuzzy and flutter. Her beautiful curls shielded part of her face from me as she looked down at the charm, and I made myself not reach out and tuck it behind her ear. She looked up at me, still smiling.

“It’s a heart that says “friends forever”” She said, her voice full of emotion. She held it up to me between her slender fingers. I studied it and smiled down at her.

“I’m hungry” Niall said, causing Nicoles smiling features to turn away from mine. I snapped out of her trance and looked down. I keep getting lost into her..and I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

“You just ate” Nicole giggled.

“No! That was awhile ago!” Niall whined. I looked over at him to see him rubbing his stomach. I chuckled at his action.

“Look, there’s a place just down there selling some food and snacks” Nicole said, walking to him and pointing down the path. Niall smiled and quickly walked off, leaving us laughing in his dust.

“Don't they use these at wild parties?” Nicole innocently asked, and I laughed as I lifted her up onto the mechanical bull.

“Love, you watch way too many movies” I joked and she blushed.

“I like movies” she defense spoke.

“I like them too” I agreed and let the instructor inform her on what to do and what’s going to happen.

“Just do what Anjelica did” I said before stepping off of the padded material and walking over to where the others were standing. The bull started slow and Nicole held onto the rope with one hand. The bulls pace quickened and spun around, jerking Nicole all over the place. She let out a squeal and smiled over at us.

“Hey guys, this is fu-” she started to say, but flew off the bull when it spun around to fast. She landed on the padded ground around her with an “Oof!”

“Nikki!” I yelled and we ran over to her. “Are you alright?” I asked, worried if she hurt herself. She burst out laughing and bubbled.

“Wow! What a blast!” She giggled, sitting up and facing us. We couldn’t help but giggle with her.

“Looks like someone couldn’t handle the bull” we heard a snobby voice say. We looked over and saw Taylor standing there, her friends scowling at us. Our smiles faded and turned into frowns. Nicole slowly went by Liams side, Liam protectively pushing her behind him. I frowned and couldn’t help but feel like I should be the one to protect her. “Ha, that’s what I thought” Taylor laughed.

“I bet you can’t handle the bull” Anjelica spoke up, stepping forward. Niall shot her an excited but also worried look.

“Oh I can handle it” Taylor said, also stepping forward.

“Oh yeah? Well lets just see who’s the toughest” Anjelica challenged, folding her arms across her chest. Nick whispered something to Zayn, causing Zayn to smile. Nick looked over at me and I just frowned. He motioned me to come to him and I obediently did.

“Anjelica’s the best at bull riding, Taylor doesn’t have a chance” Nick whispered into my ear, now causing me to smile.

“If I win, then Nicole has to do my homework for a week and tell everyone for a week at school how stupid she is and how awesome I am” Taylor looked over at Nicole and smirked. Liam rolled his eyes and shielded Nicole.

“Fine, and when I win” Anjelica said confidently. “Than you do Nicoles homework for a week, and walk around in ridiculous costumes at school” Anjelica added.

“Deal” Taylor said and held out her hand. Anjelica spat in her hand before reaching out and shaking Taylor.

“Ew..” Taylor mumbled under her breath and wiped it on her friends shoulder.

“Whores first” Anjelica said and Taylor huffed. She climbed up on the mechanical bull gracefully and held onto the rope. She flipped her hair around as the bull started to spin around. To our sad surprise, Taylor was good. I watched her in awe as she gave me seductive smiles. Even though Taylor hit Nicole..I couldn’t help but have Taylor next to me. She was the one who made me remember why I shouldn’t get lost in Nicole, and it made me frustrated with Nicole. I know that I don’t like Taylor, but I’m not sure if I want to like Nicole like I do. I hate how i fight with myself, and I should just go with the flow, but I don’t want to end up leaving Nicole.. Once she fell off, she sauntered over to a shocked Anjelica and firmly pressed her chin, closing her mouth. Nick gasped and leaned into Zayn. Taylor was on for exactly 1 minute.

“Your turn” Taylor said, evilly smiling. Anjelica put on her game face and cracked her knuckles. She climbed onto the bull and firmly gripped the rope. I stepped back, now standing next to Liam. I looked down at Nicole, wondering how she was holding up. She surprisingly looked calm, but stared longingly at her sister. We all held our breaths and kept our eyes glued on Anjelica. She only had 10 seconds left when she started slipping.

“Go Anjelica!” Nick cheered.

“Yeah Anjelica!” Zayn cheered. 5 seconds left, my mind pounded. But..Anjelica slipped off with just 1 second to spare.

“HA, you lose” Taylor laughed with her friends at Nicole and I balled up my fists. Nicole bravely pushed past Liam and stood right in front of Taylor.

“You know what. That’s fine, because she gave it her all” she said and Niall helped an upset Anjelica up. “I don’t care if I have to do your homework, that just proves that you’re lazy” she took a step closer to Taylor and I instinctively stepped closer to Nicole. “And I don’t care if I have to tell everyone that you’re awesome because that just shows how weak you are” Nicole spat and I smiled at her bravery.

“Whatever, you don’t have to do my homework or anything, just forget it” Taylor snapped and stomped off. Nicole let out a deep breath and faced us with a smile.

“Does that mean I win?” she cutely asked. I smiled and picked her up in a big hug, losing myself in her..again. She squealed and the others wrapped us in a big group hug.

“You go girl!” Nick cheered, freed from the arms that was hugging us.

“Thanks” Nicole giggled and my heart lifted.

“Sorry Nikki..” Anjelica said, not able to look Nicole in the eye.

“Sis, I knew you’d get me into some mess. In the end, I just fix it” Nicole shrugged and patted her sisters shoulder. Anjelica let out a small laugh and nodded.

“Yeah, I guess” she replied and Niall patted her other shoulder. As we started walking away, the man that managed the mechanical bull called out to us.

“You forgot this!” He yelled and tossed a small shiny object at her. She caught it and fumbled with it in her fingers. Once she got a steady hold on it she smiled.

“It’s a fist” she giggled.

“Yeah, ‘cause you’re so hardcore” Anjelica said, ruffling Nicoles hair.

Nicole’s POV
I stuffed more blue cotton candy in my mouth as we sat down on the soft grass, waiting for the concert to start.

“Can I have some?” Niall asked and I nodded fast, my sugar rush taking effect. Niall grabbed some out of my bag and popped it in his mouth.

“Want some?” I asked Harry who kept staring at me. Normally I would have blushed and acted all shy, but when I get high on sugar, I come out of my shell.

“No thanks” Harry replied, looking down at me.

“Oh come on!” I said, shoving more in my mouth.

“Nikki, you’re getting it all over your mouth” Harry chuckled. I ignored his comment and looked over at Nick who was tossing candy in Zayns mouth. It was cute how they then switched positions and Zayn tossed candy at Nick, who missed a lot. They laughed and I giggled when Louis jumped in front of Nick and caught the candy in his mouth. I then looked over at Niall, who was laughing at what Anjelica said. Anjelica made a face and pointed at some people. It was cute how everyone interacted, and I want to interact just as cutely as them with Harry. I turned back to Harry and held cotton candy up to his mouth.

“Here comes the chu chu train!” I gushed and Harry smiled. “Chu chu!” I said and he slowly opened his mouth. I popped the cotton candy in his mouth and he flashed me his winning smile. “Good huh?” I said, not slowing down on my cotton candy intake.

“Mhm” Harry hummed, almost sounding like a purring cat that he was painted as. His curls fell in front of his eyes and he quickly ruffled his hair. It looked incredibly sexy and I bit the inside of my cheek. He reached up and wiped some sugar from the corner of my mouth. I smiled and weirdly didn’t blush. I leaned my cheek into his hand and he sweetly cupped it.

“Hey, the concert is about to start” Liam said and I shot up, my attention swiftly changing. A couple young men walked on stage and I cheered with the crowd.

“Hey how are you guys doing tonight!?” a man with long straight hair asked. I cheered louder and bounced up and down. “How about we play some songs and you guys dance and jump around?” he said cheekily and I threw my hands up in the air. The band started playing and I instantly knew the song.

“Oh my gosh!!!” I squealed and started jumping up and down. Harry chuckled and I started dancing next to him.

“I wanna be an a American idiot!” I sang and Harry and I waved our arms around. Harrys curl hair flung all around and mine bounced around my face. I pulled everyone close to me and we jumped up and down. Nick nodded his head and Zayn shyly danced with us. Louis and Harry at some point were both doing the sprinkler and bumping hips. I giggled uncontrollably and grinded with my sister and Nick when a song with a pounding beat played.

“Alright, as we start to come to a close, we’ll play one slow song for all of you couples out there then end with short song” the man with long straight hair announced and played a slow song that I would lonely listen to in my room. It’s funny how I knew all of the songs that were played.. I looked around and saw Harry and Louis jokingly slow dancing, as well as Zayn and Nick. I smiled, knowing that Nick was so enjoying this. Niall and Anjelica blushed like crazy as they held onto each other in a stiff slow dance. Someone tapped me on my shoulder and I turned around. I smiled as Liam held out his hand, which I gladly took.

“So, did you enjoy today?” Liam asked, spinning me around.

“Yes, it was absolutely perfect” I said, wrapping my arms around his neck.

“I was hoping that you would say that” Liam said, and we swayed back and forth to the sweet melody. Harry walked up and cleared his throat, looking at Liam. Liam smiled and kissed my forehead before slipping away from me and letting Harry take control. Harry placed his hands on my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck like I did to Liam.

“You don’t have to ask, I had a perfect day” I said and Harry chuckled.

“Okay, I won’t ask then” he laughed and I moved my arms down to his waist, wrapping him into a hug. Harry held me tight as I lied my head on his chest. “Give a little time to me, or burn this out, we’ll play hide and seek, to turn this round, all I want, is the taste that your lips allow” Harry softly sang to me. My heart fluttered and I shivered under his touch. As the song came to an end, I looked up at his cute cat painted face, his green eyes looking into mine. I glanced at his lips, then back up to his eyes. He gave me a small smile and I returned it.

“Alright, now this last song goes out to Nicole, the birthday girl” the man said and I looked up at the stage. “happy Birthday to you” he began, and everyone else began to sing along. I blushed and looked over at Nick, who was singing along with the boys. They all sang to me and it was the sweetest thing ever. “Come up and get your charm” the man said and I pulled away from Harry’s warmth. My sugar rush was wearing off and I became shy as I slowly walked on stage. He handed me a charm shaped like a music note and I ran offstage as he thanked the crowd. My new family waited behind the stage for me and I smiled big.

“You get to open your present now” Liam said. Panic immediately ran through my veins as I looked down at myself for the present, but it as quickly as it came, it vanished when Louis handed me the present. They all had wide grins plastered on their faces as I slowly unwrapped the present. I closely looked at the small box before opening it and gasping. It was a charm bracelet, but with no charms. So that’s why I kept getting charms. I handed the empty box to Louis and pulled my other charms from my pocket.

“It’s beautiful” I whispered and traced the charms and charm bracelet.

“Can you guess who got which charm?” Niall asked, cocking his head irresistibly to the side.

“I definitely know that the pizza it yours” I chuckled, noting how much Niall loves food. He sparked with giggled and nodded.

“The fist is most likely Anjelicas” I said, and Anjelica smirked. She’s just so hard core, I could tell that it was hers.

“The heart is from my best friend Nick” I smiled over at Nick who nodded quickly with a smile.

“The carrot it so Louis. I mean, you attacked me with them” I laughed, knowing how much Louis loves carrots.

"Good thing that you didn't eat them because they we in my pants" Louis proudly stated. We all "ewwed" but ended up laughing.

“I could never forget Zayns inspirational words about roller coasters” I nodded at Zayn and he blushed.

“Harry’s is the cat because one, he’s painted as one right now and two, he won’t ever shut up about how much he loves them” I giggled and Harry shrugged with his gleaming smile.

“And last but not least, Liam” I said, turning my whole body towards him. “Yours is the music note because you love to sing and it was your idea to go to the concert” I said, and tears of joy started welling up in my eyes. I looked over at my new family. They had to be, we’re so close.”You guys are the best” I sniffed. “Group hug” I choked and they all surrounded me.

“Ah, love, don’t cry” Liam cooed.

“Yeah don’t cry, you’ll get our shirts wet” Louis commented and I couldn’t help but chuckle. I wiped my eyes and looked at them again when we pulled apart.

“What a day, ready to go?” I asked, and I saw everyone really take in todays events.

“Yep, lets go” Anjelica said. I sighed and felt tired and sleepy.

“I’ll hold onto this” Liam said, taking the charms and bracelet away from me and putting them in the box. I nodded, suddenly really tired.

“Hop on” Harry said, turning his back towards me.

“But-”

“No but’s, get on sleepy” Harry said and I obeyed. I hopped on his back and rested my head close to the back of his neck. His curls tickled my forehead, but I didn’t mind. They smelled heavenly and they were soft. Harry carried me all the way to the car and I couldn’t help but feel kind of bad.

“Now Louis, don’t get pulled over” Nick pretended to be stern, but cracked a smile. Louis rolled his eyes.

“Yes mother” he grumbled and Zayn giggled with Nick. I slid off Harrys back and crawled into the car, Harry hopping in after me.

“Here you go” Liam said, reaching over the passenger seat and handing me the box.

“Thanks” I sleepily smiled and greatly took the box. As Louis started the car, my eyelids felt heavier and heavier and quickly shut.
