Whiskey Lullaby UNDER EDITING!!

My phone beeps and I pick it up off my leg. I see it’s a message from Niall. So, I open it up and read it. I didn’t give a shit where I was, why I was here, or what I was doing. I can check my phone when ever the fuck I want.

Niall: Simon wants to have a BIG meeting with us in a few days. We all flying to NYC. Clear ya calender for next Wednesday.

Me: Alright, I will.

It was Friday, possibly the worst one I’ve had yet. Instead of being home with my princess, I’m here. But whatever, she was with me and that makes things a billion, trillion times better. ‘’So, Harry.. is Lily’s mom pretty?’’ Kim asks me as Kendall hands Lily back to me.

‘’Ye-‘’ ‘’She’s beautiful.’’ Kendall cuts me off. ‘’Oh really? Do you have a picture of her on your phone?’’ Kris asks me. ‘’Yes Mam..’’ I nod gently as I go to my pictures and look for my favorite one of her. Her smile bright. I hand her my phone so she could look.



“Oh she’s is beautiful! Her hair is so pretty! It can’t be naturally that color!’’ Kris says with a shocked face. ‘’Its natural.’’ I mumble, referring to Katie’s blonde hair with the hints of light brown and a few red. She had Irish in her, so the Red came naturally for sure.

“Let me see!’’ Kim says. Kris hands me my phone and I pass it down to her. She looks to and nods, smiling. ‘’She is. Her eyes are a pretty color.’’ She says. ‘’I wanna see!’’ Kourtney says and reaches across the table. Kim hands her my phone and she looks too.

‘’She’s very beautiful in person.’’ Kendall says aloud, to all of us I assume. ‘’She is.’’ Kylie nods. I can’t remember when but Kylie has met Katie. I think she was over with Kendall when Katie came to pick up Lily, but I can’t remember for sure.

‘’Let me take a look.’’ Khloe mumbles. She takes my phone from Kourtney and rolls her eyes as she hands it back to Kris. ‘’She’s okay.’’ She shrugs lightly. ‘’She’s amazing.’’ Kendall sighs out. Kris takes one last look before handing it back to me. I lay it on the table as Lily starts to mess with my fingers. She was sitting on my leg and I gently bounced her to keep her calm.

‘’What’s her name?’’ Kris asks me. ‘’Katie.’’ I say. ‘’K… just like Kendall.’’ Khloe says. ‘’So.’’ Kylie says to her. ‘’I’m just saying.. don’t you think it’s a little convenient that both of their names start with the same letter?’’ Khloe raises her eyebrows as she glances at me.

‘’I mean.. gosh, Khloe. Honey, a lot of people have those names. Its nothing.’’ Kris rolls her eyes lightly before sighing and looking back at me. ‘’I know this is none of my concern.. but does Lily live with you?’’ Kris asks curiously.

‘’Um.. no. She lives with Katie. I just get to see her a few times a week, mostly when Katie has to work.’’ I tell her. ‘’She works?’’ Khloe scoffs. ‘’Yeah.. why wouldn’t she?’’ I ask. All eyes on Khloe. ‘’Well.. you’re her baby’s father. Don’t you support her to?’’ She asks me, tilting her head to the side lightly.

‘’No. Because she actually wants to do something with her life. She doesn’t sit around thinking about fame and money all day like some people.’’ I spat at her, but trying to keep my cool. Lily helped me out as she stuck my index finger in her mouth. Shit, that’s the only thing I hate about her age. That stupid teething thing. And she’ll use anything, even me, to chew on. And it hurts a little because she has two bottom teeth.

“Where does she work?’’ Kris asks, ignoring Khloe’s attitude just like everyone else is trying to do. But hey, she raised her so she’s probably better at doing that than the rest of us, especially me. ‘’She’s currently some business woman’s assistant but-‘’ ‘’Wow.. what a job.’’ Khloe mumbles. I glance at Kendall who just sighs to herself.

I look back at Kris and continue on what I was attempting to say. ‘’But she’s doing online college. She’s working on her teaching degree.’’ I tell her. ‘’Oh a teacher! That would be awesome!’’ Kylie says from the other end of the table.

‘’Mom I wish you could meet her.. she’s so kind.. and she’s probably the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life.’’ Kendall says out of no where, but whatever. She likes Katie. I’m not too sure how Katie truly feels towards her as the person she is, but Kendall enjoys Katie’s smile, at least that what she told me one time.

‘’Hold up a minute.. you’ve met her?’’ Khloe asks her. ‘’Yeah.. I see her all the time..’’ Kendall shrugs as if it wasn’t a big deal, because it really wasn’t. ‘’But that’s Harry’s ex.. and his baby’s mother.’’ She says.

I furrow my eyebrows as I look over at her, and I noticed from the corner of my eye that Kim caught my expression before anyone. ‘’It doesn’t matter.’’ Kim says. ‘’But that’s his ex… and Kendall meeting her is just.. stupid.’’ Khloe says.

‘’At least his exes still want to be friends with him.’’ Kourtney mumbles as she looks at the table top. I smirk in my head at that comment. It was a little funny. ‘’Its stupid.’’ Khloe insists. But me, well.. I was sick and tired of it already.

‘’its my life. Why the hell do you care?’’ I say. ‘’Harry..’’ Kendall sighs beside me. ‘’No, no.. he has the right to speak Kendall.’’ Kris tells her. ‘’I’m just saying its rather stupid for your ex to meet your girlfriend.’’ She says back. And I knew.. Kendall would protest to that. She would before I could even attempt to.

‘’What makes you think I’m Harry’s girlfriend?’’ She asks Khloe. ‘’Well aren’t you?’’ ‘’No. We’re just friends. And should know that.’’ Kendall says, not in the best tone of voice either. ‘’More like friends with benefits, huh?’’ Khloe smirks as she glances at me.

‘’For one, that’s none of your business. And two, no. We’re not.’’ Kendall tells her. ‘’Oh c’mon, with something his size I know you’ve been hit up a few times.’’ Khloe insists. ‘’Hold up just a minute, Khloe. Stop talking that way.’’ Kris cuts in the conversation.

‘’Why are you concerned about Kendall’s sex life anyways?’’ Kim asks. ‘’Because her’s is so bad she’s gotta talk about some one else’s.’’ Kylie says. Kourtney laughs a little at that and I see Kris roll her eyes.

‘’Look, girls. Stop it. It doesn’t matter either way.’’ She says. ‘’How do you know if Kendall’s not a virgin anyways?’’ Kim asks Khloe. ‘’Obviously Harry’s not. And I was just saying.. I can tell that Harry’s good at that and I assume they’ve-‘’

‘’That’s enough. It doesn’t fucking matter. And for your information, I haven’t fucked up Kendall and I don’t plan on it. I have a kid, and I’d rather not have another any time soon. And unlike you, I don’t go and fuck with other people.’’ I snap suddenly.

Khloe’s eyes widen at my words, but it practically what she was saying just a little more in depth to it. “Harry.. step outside.’’ Kendall sighs beside me. ‘’I’m thinking about leaving. But I won’t.’’ I sigh as I stand up with Lily. I turn around so she could lie her head on my shoulder, she seemed tired. I wipe my finger off on my shirt before walking to the kitchen door.

‘’Because he knows its true.’’ I hear Khloe say behind me. I stop in my tracks and turn around to the table. I look straight at her as I say this. ‘’Its not true. And I’m not leaving because your mother invited me here. You didn’t. So go fuck yourself and stay out of my fucking business.’’

Before long, I was out on the front steps with Lily, trying to calm down even though I knew it would hard to do so.
