Whiskey Lullaby UNDER EDITING!!

I bounce Lily on my lap softly as she giggles to me. Her beautiful green eyes staring into mine as she smiles, almost toothless, at me. ''Dada.'' She slurs with slobber dripping from her lip. ''Hey baby.''I smile gently as she continues to giggle at me.

''So, how's Katie been?'' Liam asks me, sitting on the couch beside me. ''Good, I guess.'' I shrug gently as I stick Lily's pacifier in her mouth as I stand up with her in my arms.
I'm so glad Katie let me see Lily today. I'm not to supposed to see her until next week, but she had to work today so she let me. I love watching my daughter. Love it.

''Well, don't you think you should know whether or not your baby's mother is doing fine.'' Liam says as he follows me in to the kitchen.

''Its none of my business.. she's happy with that guy and that's all that I know, okay?'' I sigh as I sit Lily on the counter with my arm around her as I reach for her cup.

''Here, Princess.'' I say as I hand her the pink cup after taking the top off. She can barely hold it up, I assume its a little heavy since its almost full. I use my free hand to help her hold it up while she takes a few sips, then puts it back down in her lap.

''Well it's just that.. you need to care a little.'' Liam mumbles to me as he leans against the counter beside me.

''I do fucking care.. I do..its just.. She doesn't want me anymore.. and you don't know how it feels to not be wanted anymore.'' I admit to him as I begin to get a little annoyed at his talking, but yet I know its the truth. I need to care more than I do.. it that's even possible any more.

"She's moved on, Li.. There's nothing I can do about that any more.'' I tell him. I hear the front door slam shut, followed by the sound of heel's clicking on the hard wood floors. Soon after, Kendall appears in the kitchen as she bursts through the door. "Apparently.. so have you.'' Liam whispers as Kendall runs over to me.

''I'm out of breath!'' She laughs as she holds her hands on her chest. ''When you told me she was gonna be here I freaked out!'' she adds, looking at me with her deep, dark brown eyes. Nothing like Katie's sky blue eyes.. stop that.. don't compare them!

"I'm happy to see you.'' She smiles as she pecks my cheek before pushing me gently out of the way so she can see Lily. ''Hi cutie pie!'' she smiles brightly and picks up Lily off the counter. Lily giggles a little as Kendall softly tickles her tummy, still trying to be gentle with her.

''I'm gonna go in here, babe.'' Kendall tells me as she walks off towards the living room with Lily. ''Okay.'' I call back, but I know she didn't care to hear my response since she was already gone..

"Like I said before, Liam.. Katie's moved on and she's happy.'' I mumble to him as I lean against the counter where Lily once sat moments ago.

''Yeah.. and you've moved on.. but you're not happy.'' He says before grabbing his coat from the living room and leaving since he doesn't like being around Kendall.

My best friends don't like my girlfriend. But my girlfriend loves my daughter. My ex hates me. But I love my ex. My daughter loves me, and of course I love her too. Every one either hates some one.. or loves them..
