Bride to Be

Chapter Four

Harry’s POV
It’s been a full day since last night when I stormed out of mine and Kennedy’s flat and Kennedy’s been trying to talk to me all day. Whether it’s in a voicemail or a text message she somehow manages to try and get a hold of me. I was sitting at the kitchen table in Louis’ flat when the door burst open and Andrea came storming in. She then grabbed me by the ear and dragged me out to the living room where everyone had somehow got in.

“You have a shit ton of explaining to do!” she exclaimed, “Kennedy’s been worried sick about you all goddamn day and she didn’t even make it an hour before I sent her home. What the hell happened!?”

“Lou didn’t tell you,” I said looking at Louis and Liam.

“It’s not our story to tell mate,” Liam said.

“Well are you going to explain?” Andrea asked and I could tell she was angry at me because she was glaring at me.

“I went out with Tom, got a bit drunk, got in a bar fight, and got arrested,” I said, “She got upset and I left before I said something stupid.”

“Yeah because leaving was a better option,” Andrea snapped.

“I don’t get why you’re so upset at me,” I said and Andrea lunged at me but Niall held her back.

“Because you haven’t seen her,” Eleanor said speaking up, “You have her thinking it was her fault for you leaving. She thinks that you’re going to call of the wedding because she has it in her head that you’re going to tell her that she’s making you chose between friends and her and that’s not what she wants at all. She’s going absolutely mad.”

I then finally understood what everyone was saying.

“I can’t do anything right,” I groaned as I heard my phone ringing again.

I quickly rushed to it and saw Kennedy’s beautiful smile looking at me and I answered it.

“Are you okay?” she asked and I could her sniffle.

“I’m sorry,” I said grabbing the bag in the room I was staying at, “I was an idiot.”

“Not really,” she said, “I kind of overreacted.”

“No you didn’t,” I said as I got into my car, “You reacted just like any other fiancé would.”

“Then how come you left?” she asked quietly.

“Because I didn’t want to say something stupid,” I replied.

“We could’ve talked about it,” she replied and my heart continued to break as she continued, “I thought that you could tell me anything that was bothering you.”

“And I can,” I said, “Please trust me when I say that because I can tell you anything and everything. I just didn’t want a repeat of what happened before to happen again.”

“Me either,” she said, “Are you coming home soon?”

“Yes,” I said, “Do you want me to get food?”

“Please,” she said, “And something quick. I have some thoughts to run by you.”

“Alright,” I said, “I’ll be home twenty minutes top.”

“Alright,” she said, “And Harry.”

“Yeah,” I said.

“I love you,” she said, “I’ll always love you.”

“I love you too beautiful,” I said smiling, “I’ll see you soon.”

“See you soon,” she said and then hung up.

When I put the phone in the cup holder, I breathed a sigh of relief. Kennedy wasn’t too pissed with me but what hurt me was she thought that I was going to walk away from her. I stopped and got some Chinese food since I knew Kennedy absolutely loved it and headed home quickly. When I walked into the flat, I heard Kennedy lightly singing Ho Hey by the Lumineers. I walked quietly to towards the kitchen and I peaked around the corner to see her looking at wedding magazines and her singing along. She absolutely looked adorable with her focused face on. Her eyebrow was furrowed a bit and she had a pen cap in between her lips which made her look incredibly sexy. I was standing in the doorway when she made a comment.

“You can come in you know,” she said smiling lightly at her magazine and she looked up at smiled at me.

“I brought Chinese food,” I said and she grinned at me.

“Perfect,” she said grinning and stood up from the kitchen table and walked up to me and grabbed the box in my hands.

She walked into the kitchen and started unloading the box and went to go grab plates for us.

“Why don’t we just eat out of the boxes love,” I said, “it’ll save you dishes.

“Okay,” she said turning around and I smiled at her.

“I’m sorry I made you think I was going to break up with you,” I said frowning and she just shook her head walking towards me.

“We both overreacted to the situation,” she said.

“I know but I was out of line,” I said and she just put her finger over my lips to silence me.

“We both were out of line,” she said, “I shouldn’t have went all crazy girlfriend and you shouldn’t have went all crazy upset boyfriend so we’re even. Now let’s eat and let me ask you questions about our wedding.”

I just laughed at her and kissed her finger and then nodded my head. She handed me a box of food and she grabbed her box and we went to the kitchen and she started explaining things to me and asking me questions every so often. It was times like these that I loved watching Kennedy at work. She was so absorbed and focused on getting things laid out and explained so well that I wasn’t even paying attention to half of what she was saying.

“You’re not even paying attention Harry!” she exclaimed exasperated and I chuckled lightly and wrapped her up in my arms.

“You’re so sexy when you’re doing your job so I get lost,” I said and she just rolled her eyes and smirked as I kissed her neck, “Explain again and I’ll listen promise.”

She sighed dramatically and soon I was getting excited like her. We had decided that we wanted to get married in the spring time and actually picked a date of May 23, 2014. That gave us plenty of time to plan and pick things out together. She then went and showed me all kinds of different themes she was thinking of and all kinds of invitations and before I knew it I kissed her midsentence.

“What was that for?” she asked.

“Because I love you and I’m glad you’re marrying me,” I said grinning.

“I’m happy you asked me,” she said and then kissed me again.

When we parted lips I had somehow managed to back us up against the wall and I smirked down at her and grinned when I saw her normal bright blue eyes darker. I kissed her again but this time with more passion which caused her to pull a bit on my curls which in turn caused me to groan into the kiss which made her smirk. She then pushed me off of her and she pecked my lips one more time.

“We’re not doing that tonight love,” she grinned and slipped from my arms and winked at me as she rushed to the bathroom.

I put my head against the wall and shook my head groaning and smiling. This was Kennedy’s way of getting back at me. She made me all excited and just like that she turned off her emotions and got me riled up to have me deal with it. I guess I was taking a cold shower before I officially took my real shower tonight.
