Louis p.o.v
2 hours had passed and we had no news on what was happening to Em but the surgery took an hour so I don’t know what will be happening now, me and the boys were very quiet no one talked, but occasionally someone would rub my back and attempt to comfort me, but of course it didn’t work.
“Mr Tomlinson.” The doctor said I ran up to him and I almost slipped when I tried to stop, but thank god this time I didn’t because there were actually quite a few people in here and it would be quite embarrassing, well not as embarrassing as when we were performing and Harry fell over loads of times or when Liam ripped his pants on stage.
“yeah, how is Em will she be fine?” I asked.
“she will be fine, she is in recovery now and you can see her, she isn’t awake, but she should wake up any minute now so be patient and she is in the same room as before.” The doctor said.
I went back over to the boys and told them about what the doctor said and they agreed that they would let me go in by myself until she wakes up then the boys will come in.
I walked up the corridor to her room and opened the door slowly, you would never have thought she has been in surgery she just looked like she was sleeping. I took a seat next to her bed and held her hand, It was unbelievably cold, but when you go into surgery you usually are freezing when you wake up, I remember when I was younger and I had to have surgery I can’t remember why, but I didn’t enjoy it the only thing that was good was I got to stay off school and relax and my mum would get me whatever I wanted.
After 20 minutes she still didn’t wake up, the machines that she was connected to were driving me mad especially the silence my phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out.

Has she woke up yet?
To Hazza:
No she hasn’t and the silence is killing me you guys can come up if you want?
From Hazza:
Niall dragged us to get some food so we are eating we will come up when we are finished, but is there anything you want?
To Hazza
Typical Niall, and na I’m fine I’m not hungry

Ok well we will be up as soon as we finish, but tell us if she has woke up
I put my phone in my pocket,
“typical, Louis you would be on your phone.” Em said.
“YOUR’E AWAKE?!” I said and hugged her.
“ok Lou you can let go because this kind of hurts.” She said and I let go.
“sorry, how are you?” I asked.
“sore and I am absolutely freezing.” She said I took off my hoodie and she put it on.
“thank you god your hoodie is boiling.” She said.
“well what do you expect I’ve been wearing it all day.” I said.
“so when do I get out of here.” She said.
“I have no idea, but I’m so happy you’re ok it was torture waiting for you to wake up. “ I said.
“it was torture for me just getting wheeled off then getting put to sleep , it was really weird they put the stuff in my arm and it went freezing then I felt tired and I can’t even remember falling asleep I just remember starting to feel tired.” She said.
“yeah I know when I was younger I had an operation and I got put to sleep and I remember the doctor telling me that I had to count backwards from 10 and I got to number 8 and my mum said that I went all goofy and stupid, but apparently I actually looked dead so of course it upset my mum a lot.” I said.
“I can imagine you being all goofy, well you already are goofy so how did you go goofy from being put to sleep wouldn’t you just be acting drunk?” she said.
“I don’t know.” I said.
“LOUIS YOU DIDN’T TELL US SHE WAS AWAKE” Harry said slapping me over the head.
“why did you hit me.” I said.
“because you didn’t tell us she was awake.” Harry said.
“whatever.” I said Harry hugged Em and the rest of the boys followed.
“how are you?” Liam asked.
“I’m fine just a bit sore.” Em said.
“so you have warmed up now.” I said.
“yeah I have and I feel more comfy with your hoodie on.” She said.
“I was wondering why you had a hoodie on with a hospital gown.” Harry said.
“yeah well you will know if you have had surgery that when you wake up your freezing.” She said.
“yeah I know that, it’s horrible.” Liam said the doctor then walked in.
“ok so miss hunter you have to stay here for a few days just to make sure everything is ok and once you get out of here you will have to take things easy so just relax around you can walk about, but it will be painful for a few days and it will get better.” The doctor said.
“ok so I can move about and walk, but not much and I have to stay here for a few days and then I get to leave and go home and whilst at home I should take it easy and watch tv all the time.” Em said.
“you don’t have to watch TV all the time.” The doctor said.
“ok.” Em said.
“wait so she can’t leave here for a few days.” I said.
“yes that’s right Mr Tomlinson.” The doctor said and I’m pretty sure all colour in my face disappeared.
“what’s wrong Lou.” They all said.
“tomorrow I have to go and get tests done and blood taken and a whole lot of stuff done because of the cure.” I said.
“hey one of us can come and since when have you been scared of blood and stuff like that.” Harry said.
“I don’t know something just doesn’t feel right about it.”I said.
“Lou everything will be fine.” Em said.
“I know, but I just have a feeling in my stomach that something isn’t right.” I said.
“trust me everything will be fine.” Em said.
“and Lou one of us will come with you.” Harry said.
“your right everything will be fine.” I said and smiled.
