Louis p.o.v
Em fell on the stairs and I ran to her side and held her hand.
“Em what’s wrong.” I asked panicked.
“I- I don’t know, but my stomach hurts.” Em said.
“we need to get you to the hospital, can you get up?” I said.
“I don’t want to go to the hospital I don’t like them.” She barely whispered.
“Em we need to you got beat up you could have anything wrong with you.” I said.
“I’m fine.” She whispered.
“no you’re not.” I said and then she passed out I picked her up and carried her bridal style out of the house and I ran outside and around the streets until I got to the hospital I ran through the doors of A&E and looked around.
“SOMEONE HELP!” I shouted looking around a nurse came with a stretcher and I laid her down and they took her into a room.
“ok so what happened?” the nurse said.
“ I don’t know she just got up off the settee and she started to go upstairs and she just fell down on a step in pain.” I said.
“has anything happened today that may have cause these pains?” the nurse said.
“well she got beat up earlier.” I said.
“ok how long ago was that?” the nurse said.
“about 1-2 hours ago.” I said.
“ok so what is her name?” the nurse asked.
“Emily.” I said.
“and her second name” the nurse said.
“she actually hasn’t told me that so I’m sorry I can’t tell you.” I said.
“it’s hunter, Emily Hunter” Connor said.
“thanks Connor” I said.
“no problem mate.” He said patting my back.
“and how old is miss hunter.” She asked.
“she is 19.” I said.
“ok, well Mr” the nurse said.
“Tomlinson.” I said.
“well Mr Tomlinson can you take a seat over there in our waiting room and we will let you know what’s happening once the doctor has diagnosed what’s wrong.” The nurse said, I sat down in one of the waiting room chairs and waited, the boys followed me and sat around, they didn’t really say much, but I didn’t want to talk I was too worried about Em what is wrong with her?
About an hour passed and there was no word about what had happened, but a doctor walked out of the double doors.
“Mr Tomlinson” the doctor called I ran up to him.
“how is she what’s wrong with her?” I asked.
“miss hunter has internal bleeding she is going to have to have surgery to sort it out, the room is being prepped and she will be going in, in about 10 minutes so if you want you can see her now because she has woke up.” The doctor said.
“what room is she in?” I asked.
“room 104” the doctor said there is actually a fully working hospital here, I was expecting it to be a small tent, but it’s actually a proper building that hasn’t been wrecked or it has been fixed up.
I ran up the corridors trying to find her room once I reached the 100 I sped up as I wanted to hurry up and find her 102, 103, 104 I tried to stop in front of her room but I ended up skidding and falling on the floor.
“Louis are you ok?” Liam, Harry, Zayn and Niall said jogging up to me.
“kind of my head hurts a bit.” I said.
“how many fingers am I holding up?” Niall asked.
“three.” I said in an Irish accent so It sounded like I said tree.
“well I guess Louis is fine.” Niall said I got up and walked into Em’s room.
“did you just fall over.” Em asked.
“yeah I did, I was in a rush to find you.” I said.
“nice to know that you care about me.” Em said.
“are you alright.” I asked.
“ I have internal bleeding what do you think” em said.
“yeah I know it was a stupid question, but are you scared?” I asked.
“a little bit.” She said.
“hey you shouldn’t be scared you have thought zombies and survived an apocalypse surgery should be a piece of cake for you.” I said.
“hey once I’m out of here you owe me a piece of cake.” She said.
“what kind? I said.
“chocolate.” She said.
“I will make some for you, for when you get out.” I said and kissed her on the head.
“you will cook a cake?” Em said.
“let me rephrase that Harry will make you a cake and I will bring it to you.” I said.
Em laughed, but soon stopped.
“what’s wrong.” I said.
“ it hurts to laugh.” She said
“GOOD LUCK EM” Niall shouted popping his head in and out of the room.
“GET IN HERE” I shouted and everyone walked in and hugged Em everyone made small talk and said good luck until the doctor came in to wheel her away into surgery just before she went I fiddled with my bracelet on my arm.
“Em.” I said.
“yeah Lou.” She said.
“here have this.” I said.
“why”? she said.
“because I love you and I want to wish you good luck for the surgery and for you to have part of me with you whilst you are going through that.” I said and she looked like she was going to cry I placed the bracelet on her wrist and tightened it.
“thank you Lou I love you too thank you and don’t worry it will be fine.” She said and smiled and the doctor wheeled her away leaving me and everyone standing in an empty room.
