As I was carrying Thomas around his room to calm him down from his sleep all I could think about was the fact that I am surrounded by very good friends. I can never repay them. They have always been here for me. I am very grateful for that. I put Thomas done and went to Elizabeth’s room to see what she was doing. I walked in to see her in her crib playing with her toys.

Hi Elizabeth I said and walked to her. She turned her head to me and her mouth turned into a big smile. She put her arms up into the air dropping her toys. I picked her up and kissed her on the face and tickled her tummy. She laughed, she liked it when someone does that to her. I carried her downstairs and put her down on the couch. I got out my laptop and went on you tube to search for Barney. Elizabeth loves that show. I connected the cable from my laptop to the TV and the show started. We were 10 minutes into the video when their was a knock at the door. I stood up leaving Liz on the sofa alone to watch by herself so I could go get the door. I opened it to see Eleanor carrying 2 bags in her hand and one big bag at her foot on the ground. I was shocked due to the big bags that she brought.

What’s up with the big bags? I joked.

You haven’t been eating, your house barely has food in it, and you’re skinny as hell. Now help me with the bags. I immediately grabbed the bag from the ground and opened the door wider for her to come in. We put the bag on the counter. Eleanor and me were unpacking things from the paper bags and putting them away when Elizabeth came into the kitchen.
Mama! She shrieked What is it honey? I asked her.

Bahney she said and pointed towards the living room where the TV was in. I knew what she meant. The show had ended and she wanted to watch more. I picked her up and placed her on my hip and walked out of the kitchen into the living room. I put her down on the couch and clicked on an other episode, once the show started I left her to go help Eleanor. I went in to see that she finished putting everything away already.

That was fast I said sitting on a stool.

Yeah I know she chuckled lightly. Is it pasta or sandwiches? She asked me.

Pasta I told her simply.

OK ma’am. Why don’t you go rest and I’ll start cooking. She said to me while she started the water.

I want to help I pouted.

Fine she agreed to me. I went to the sink and washed my hands. I took out a pot from the cabinet and placed it on the stove. I turned it on and put some water in there for the sauce. After it started to boil I poured the red sauce into the it I then closed it with the pot’s lid. Eleanor had already got the noodles into the other pot and it was boiling now. I like a bunch of stuff in my pasta.

I took out carrots and washed them carefully, and chopped them into small pieces.

30 Minutes later.

We finally finished cooking. I got another of Barney’s episodes to play and Eleanor and me were going to eat now. I sat down and she put a plate down in front of me. I took a whiff of the smell of the pasta in front of me.

Uhm this smells so good.


Well dig in Eleanor told me. I took my fork and put strands of noodles in my mouth. I kept shoving food into my mouth. I was finished 5 minutes tops. I turned my head to Eleanor to see her with wide eyes and jaw dropped.

What? I asked her confused.

You could have won Fastest Pasta Eater she teased. I playfully stuck my tongue out at her. She laughed at me. For five minutes I thought you were Niall she teased me more.

Stop it I whined and she laughed even harder. I stood up and cleaned up my area. Eleanor followed me. She offered to wash the dishes and I let her. Anyways I was too tired.
