*Lillian's POV*
I walk downtown with Ella and Jake. Jake Lives in L.A. like Lexy, my sister and Ella and I live in San Francisco. I live with my parents at the moment but in two weeks I'll be living with my sister.

We walk through the park and down to the square. We go our favourite café and order our usual. I bump into someone and spill my coffee over them.

"I'm so sorry!" I tell the person standing in front of me.

"It's fine." He laughs and I go and grab some napkins for him.

"Thanks." He says and starts dabbing them all over his shirt.

"Again, I'm so incredibly sorry." I say and help him dab the shirt semi-dry.

"Again, it's fine. It's quite alright." He says and laughs again.

"My name is Michael." He says and puts out his hand for me to shake.

"Lillian." I say and shake his hand.

"Beautiful name, Lillian. Does it so happen that this beautiful girl with this amazing name have a second one?" He asks politely.

I look at Ella and Jake and Ella nods a bit to encourage me and Jake just gives me the 'you can do this' look.

"Williams, Lillian Williams." I say smiling to this handsome man named Michael.

"Of course, such a beautiful and elegant name for a girl like this." He says and I just blush. He sees me blushing and smirks.

"Thank you for your kind words." I say and smile confidently.

"Can I by any chance get this beautiful girl's phone number?" He asks and I nod again.
He hands me his phone for me to type it in, I type it in and then write my name, Lillian - The coffee spiller ;)

He sees it and laughs. I then hand him my phone and he gladly types his phone number and name. It reads, Michael - The coffee spillee x'D

I laugh and say goodbye and apologize once more.

"Hopefully I'll see you around." He says and starts to slowly walk away.

"See you around." I say assuring him and me that we'll meet again.

I walk to Jake and Ella and they just smile.

"How was it?" Jake asks softly.
"It was good, refreshing actually." I say and smile a genuine smile.

"Not as bad as you thought eh?" Ella says teasing, they both know what happened between me and Scott and how it ended.

"Not at all." I say as I smile once more and laugh a little, thinking about how worthless I always felt around Scott but this stranger made me feel like someone that mattered.

Scott is my ex-boyfriend and he was verbally abusive. Thank god that he wasn't also physically abusive but it crushed me all the same. Ella, Jake, my sister and parents are the only ones who know about this apart from my therapist.

We kept on chatting, walking around and checking some stores once in a while. We went to the farmers market and picked something for dinner, it was my time to cook for the family and I invited Ella and Jake along.

Me and my parents switched around with the cooking, washing the dishes and doing the laundry. They did this partly because my therapist suggested it and because I asked to help around the house.

She said it was good for me to have some small responsibilities concerning the household and even some bigger over time, it was all a part of my therapy.
I graduated High School a year ago and broke down before I could go to Uni. Scott got meaner and even threatened to rape me.

I got to know who were my real friends and I was sad to discover that I only had one left. The others I guess I gained by dating Scott but who fucking cares, they clearly weren't worth the while and I had other things to deal with.

I have a mental disease and they have no name for it, either it's so many at once or just none at all. I bear the symptoms of at least three mental diseases that are very dangerous for the person with it and the people around them. But I have three lingering symptoms that stay with me almost all the time, those are; depression, anxiety and then my voices.

I am a true medical mystery and a ticking time bomb so to speak. I admitted myself to a mental health institute six months ago and there I met Jake. We found out that he lived five or so blocks away from the park next to the Seven Eleven store down the street from me. But now he lives in L.A.
We became very close and for now it's just me, him and Ella.

He has a girlfriend but we haven't gotten to meet her just yet, her name is Poula and by the way he talks about her she's this goddess that is pure kindness.


But anyway we went home and they helped me with the cooking. My parents came home from work to a hot meal and even dessert which brought a smile to their faces. I then said goodbye to Ella and Jake when they went home.

I watched Criminal Minds with my parents and the bid goodnight. The clock said that the time was ten thirty PM when I reached my bedroom.

I changed into my pyjamas, brushed my hair and teeth and set my alarm to seven AM so I had time before I had to go meet my therapist Mrs. Goodwill.

Today was a good day and I hope that tomorrow will also be one.

Notes

So I'm re-writing and editing my story and this is the first chapter of it. I change some things from the previous state it was in. I changed the scenarios that most of the characters meet and even what happens to them and their stories.

I also re-named the story and gave it a new cover. This is basically a huge 'story makeover' so to speak but the essentials are still in it.
