Roses & Wallflowers

Great. Another day in trapped paradise. Or, otherwise known as school. When I arrived at school, everyone was surrounded by a space in the parking lot… And I have to admit I was kind of intrigued.

I slowly walked up to the crowd and gasped when I saw who it was. It was Harry and some small guy that was probably like me.

I wanted to stop the fight, but they would probably look at me funny. Oh well, people already look at me funny. So what’s the point of leaving it alone?

I broke through the crowd and pushed Harry off of the boy, and then I helped up the boy, and he instantly ran away.

“What is your problem?!” I yelled at Harry.

“My problem?” He grabbed my arm with his large hand and I gasped in pain. “What is your problem? You need to stay out of things that aren’t your problem, yeah. Besides, he was almost finished with. And you need to learn to keep your mouth shut girl, no one asked for you to come into this. You were about to be on my good side, but now I’m thinking twice about it. You’re nothing but a piece of trash.” Then he threw me down on the ground when the crowd that had gathered disappeared, and I hit my head on the car behind me.

“Good Lord. Somebody has their panties in a twist.” I looked up to see Julian. “Are you okay new girl?” He helped me up and I nodded my head. “Well come on, let’s get to class.”

When we walked into our class, people started to whisper. Probably something about what just happened. Julian put his hand on my lower back, letting me know that nothing was going to happen.

We sat down in our seats and all of a sudden a girl walked up to me and I saw Julian sit up and look at her.

“Excuse me? But who do you think you are?” The girl said and I scoffed.

“Who do you think you are walking up to me like that?”

She gave me a sneer, “Well. I don’t want you to talk to my boyfriend again. He has a very bad temper, and I don’t want him to take it out on me. So for your sake and mine, leave him alone.” Then she walked away and I shook my head.

At lunch, I sat alone. I have no friends, and I don’t even know why I bother trying to make any friends. The only friend that I have is Julian, and he checked out of school. So I am officially alone today.

“There she is dude. You need to go thank her.” I heard, and then that boy that I pulled out of Harry’s fight walked up to me.

He sat down and smiled. “Do you mind if I joined you?” I shook my head and gave him a small smile. “I just want to thank you, for this morning. If you wouldn’t have done that then I probably would be in the hospital.”

“Oh it’s not a problem. What did you do to make him beat you anyways?”

“Uh, I didn’t bring him his cigarettes.” And something about that made my blood boil. “My name is Patrick by the way.”

“Haize.” I nodded.

He sat there with me the whole lunch period and we talked about stuff like our parents and how they disrespect us, and how much we love english. He didn’t like science that much, but he loves english.

7th period! Yeah! My God, kill me.

I walked into english and quickly sat down in my desk. Please don’t let Harry do anything to me today. Please, I am begging.

Then he walked into the room and growled when he saw me. He grabbed my arm and pulled me out of my desk.

“What now?” I said looking at him with rage.

“I just want you to know that thanks to you, that boy thinks your his body guard. And if I walk up to him, he tells me to take it out on you. And I don’t have my cigs. You’re in for it babe.” Then he slammed his hand on my back, causing me to fall to my knees.

I rolled my eyes and sat back down in my desk.

When 7th period was over, I was walking down the halls and people kept on shoving me. Like, what is up with that?

Oh and to make it worse, Carly and her gang walked up to me.

She pushed me to the floor and said, “It’s been a while nerd. What have you been up to? Have you caused any more trouble? Because I heard that you’ve been having benefits with Dianne’s boyfriend.”

I looked up to see that girl who walked up to me in 1st. Great, what could make this worse? I stood up and Harry walked up to us.

“Hey babe.” He kissed his girlfriend, almost swallowing her face.

“Hey Harry. Dianne has been telling me that nerd right here has been having benefits with you. Is it true?” Carly asked Harry, and he looked at me.

“Yeah, it’s true. She just won’t leave me alone.” He said looking at me with evil in his eyes, and my eyes widened.

“Go home!” A teacher yelled and I got pushed again.

Carly laughed and said, “I’ll get you tomorrow nerd.” Then she pushed me and Harry took his girlfriend by the waist and they all walked away.

“Hey Haize. Woah.” I looked to see Patrick. “You had a sign on your back that said ‘push me’. Did you know that?” He took the sign off my back and handed it to me. So that’s why people kept on pushing me. Aha, awesome.

“No I didn’t know that.”

Then I left school. I didn’t even say anything to anybody, and I just went home. I am not putting up with this anymore. It’s not like I can do anything, but I’m just going to ignore it. Including that jerk Harry.

I hate Harry Styles.
