Held On Close [ Larry Stylinson ]
Chapter 6
Harry
I guess I got to go home early, I guess it's great, but I didn't even have time to prepare for her arrival. We pulled in the nicely paved driveway, and he parked the car. It seemed like forever. He held the door for me as I walked inside, it was the same, but there was another addition to the house; Leah.
"Louis, do you want to get started on her crib?" I said, thinking of what else I needed to get her. "I know it's going to be a while, but we need to get started."
"Yeah, I'll do anything for you, after I left Genevieve." He shrugged and looked down, a pleased look on his face, yet his eyes full of worry. I didn't want to talk about it, I had to let it go.
"I'll stay here and take care of her," I said, "since I need to rest." I said.
"Sure. And I'll go and grab some things."
"Okay. I love you." It fluently came off my tongue so fast, it felt like we were starting all over again.
"I-I love you too." He said back, his tone of voice lower than mine. He embraced me on the lips quickly and flashed out in minutes. I was left here with Leah— our miracle — all alone.
I had no idea what
I was going to start.
*2 hours later*
Two hours past and Louis still hasn't come back, I miss him. I had been stuck with Leah, singing to her and rocking her back and forth. Right at this moment, I had been singing her the songs I made with Louis.
"And your lips, so.. Touchable. And your eyes.. Irresistible." I finished as all Leah did look at me with her plump blue eyes and a little smile. I couldn't believe it had been a week.
Hours later he came back with bags and bags of stuff. I knew right away it was going to take a while.
"Holy shit how much did you buy?" I said.
"As much as I could bloody get!" He responded, dropping the bags. I giggled softly and cascaded over to him. "How's Leah?" He smiled at her.
"Good, I sang to her, rocked her."
"That's good." The crib was already prepared, shipped in a couple hours back.
"Should we start?"
"We should, it's gonna take a long time."
